I'll start by saying I've had good luck contacting businesses via Facebook, but this location (now on Truman Blvd) hasn't been updated and had the "Message" option turned off. Jimmy John's Store #1250, Jefferson City, MO I don't leave reviews lightly, but I believe this one may help others avoid frustration, wasted time, and questionable food safety. Over the past few months, I've had repeated issues with Jimmy John's Store #1250--poor food quality, inconsistent portions, ordering problems, and a troubling lack of customer care. The most recent issue involved receiving a "Unwich" (lettuce wrap) that was so brown and wilted it should never have been served. The turkey portion was also laughably small--something no reasonable customer would find acceptable. (Photos retained.) I didn't rush to judgment. I used their official feedback form, with the best of intentions, twice. I also emailed their support email as directed. All I received were automated responses. After waiting patiently for two weeks. That's when it became clear the real problem was accountability. Via email, a representative named Morgan told me to use the feedback form I tried and been ignored by twice. I turned to the website's live chat and was connected to... Morgan. Who now said flatly: "You will have to contact the location directly!". When I asked for clarification or a corporate contact, she refused to respond, ifnored my replies and disconnected the chat. It felt deliberately dismissive and deeply unprofessional. Eventually, the local general manager sent a short email offering store credit. But by that point, it wasn't about a refund. It was about my intentions to support a local business; about principle, and the sheer effort it took to get any response at all. I'm writing this to help others understand:
If something goes wrong with your order, you may be ignored, deflected, or treated rudely. I no longer have confidence that this location--or the Jimmy John's brand--takes customer concerns seriously. In good conscience, I cannot recommend this business.
The food is good. But when I order on the app, and pay for extra meat, cut in half, extra napkins, etc. and I don't get the extra meat I pay for, my drink cup, the napkins, etc… why is it even an option? Everytime I go, which has been at least once a week lately, something is screwed up. I guess I'm going to have to find somewhere else tk eat.
I received a voicemail from Jake a couple of months ago for an interview the next day at 1:00. I called back and left a message asking for the address. Jake texted me the address as 537 Broadway. I showed up to Broadway St and found there is no such address.
I looked up on the internet and saw there is a store at 537 Cross St. This store was closed about 2 years ago but has reopened.
I called the customer service number and talked to Carly and was a mess.
Carly told me she couldn't do anything for me.
Her supervisor, Christina was worse. She saw no problem with Jake giving me the wrong address. Even though it was 10 miles from the store and she couldn't explain how anyone could misspell Cross as Broadway.
I told her I had filled out an online complaint form. When she looked it up she asked for my name. When she opened the complaint she told me that I pronounced my name incorrectly. Is she that stupid?!
According to the customer service representatives when you call them your complaint doesn't go anywhere beyond them. I was told by the supervisor that I will never talk to anyone higher up than her.
This store needs to be shut down.
When I called human resources I was transferred to a company in a foreign country where the employees barely speak English and definitely DON'T comprehend English!
When you place a complaint online it says you will be contacted in less than 48 hours. Total lie!
They don't care!
Constant calls and emails to Jimmy John's and Inspire (company that owns Jimmy John's) have been ignored.
So today October 28 the pickle sandwich was introduced, I was hopeful that it would be similar if not better then a sandwich shop called what's the dill. This totally missed from the visual to the taste. For the price it is so not worth it. With a few adjustments it could be a good sandwich. Things needed to make it a contender
1. Bigger pickle
2. More meat and toppings
3. More seasoning
At the bottom you have jimmy john and the competitors.
I received a voicemail yesterday for an interview today at 1:00. I called back and left a message asking for the address. The person texted me the address as 537 Broadway. I showed up to Broadway St and found there is no such address.
I called customer service and I was told they couldn't do anything.
I asked to speak to a supervisor. She was incompetent. She couldn't understand why I was upset when I was given the wrong address. Even though it was 10 miles from the actual store. I mentioned that I filled out an online complaint. She looked it up and asked my name. When she opened the complaint she told me that's not how my name is pronounced! Is she that stupid to tell someone they don't know how to pronounce their own name?!
Subway is better. There are more options at subway and the quality of the bread is better. Do better. It's good though. Also the place smells better
Placed a three sandwich online order at 12:27. First phone call at 1:00 indicated the driver was on the way with the order. We live less than 2 blocks away from the store! Second call was answered with a brusque brush off. "It's on the way. Oh, and there was another drop off." Sandwich arrived at 1:45. Still no explanation what happened. Second response was discourteous and dismissive. We will stick with Jersey Mike's.
Well, we ordered our food tonight at 7:30. It wasn't delivered after the point. The building was closed. We had to knock on the window just to get them to refund the money. If it's kind of funny like I don't know what's going on, man. But you all aint freaky fast anymore. You're sure freaky, slow.
I placed an order from my phone early in the morning the day I wanted it delivered. It didn't arrive at the appointed time-frame. I called and was told I put the order in for the next day - no I didn't. I told him to cancel the order altogether and credit my card. I call the next day to get my card credited. So far, a week later, my card has not been credited. Also, previous orders were always late
When trying to create an online delivery order there is not a clear delivery and pick up option and when finishing 50 orders it made me restart for a delivery.
I went to Jimmy John's today, December 7,2023, and ordered my favorite sandwich, the Hero. To my dismay, as I ate the sandwich, I realized why I stopped going there. I don't know where they purchase their meat from but never have I ever had so many uneatable hard spots in a meat before in my life. It was disgusting they must've changed vendors and are now purchasing cheaper meat. I don't know that for a fact, but what I do know is I will not be going back. I'm done. The attached photo is not meat it is some sort of hard stuff that can't be eaten. Most of the meat in the sandwich (the Vito) that I purchased had this inside; if you look closely, it's not the bread that light white or yellow coloring is the hard stuff that you can't eat. I ended up throwing the sandwich out I had had enough. I hate to say it don't go there.
When i went to there i ordered a sandwich with extra extra mayo and they would not put it on the sandwich. I got really mad and then they threw the sandwich right at me. Dont recommend this place.
I'm very disappointed with this product; now they put too much liquid ingredients that make the bread melting and disgusting. I can't even save it for later to eat it in home just to find up the bread was totally melted. I felt like l want to vomit. I couldn't eat the sandwich that was totally melted. Don't recommend this company anymore. Don't deserve not even 1 star. DISCASTING.
I placed a order the other day and it never showed up even though it said out for deliver call the restaurant and the had me confused with another order so I never got my order

I love Jimmy Johns Gargantua. I order from time to time as a treat, I ALWAYS customize my order, for one reason, because I know they have to make it fresh if I do, and for another reason, I like to have Avocado and Bacon added, plus Dijon mustard is often a must for me. Tonight, I did what I usually do, I ordered online and spent the usual extra time to add avocado, Dijon mustard, bacon, and extra roast beef. I got a call back, they said they didn't have any roast beef, I said "ehhhhphf", like an IT guy that who is tired of fixing computer problems and I said "that's fine". I was hungry and was willing to make the compromise. So my order arrived and I started eating, only to find it also had no mustard, no bacon, and no avocado as well. I looked at my receipt and realized, I somehow must have messed the order up, even though I placed the order the same way I always have. However, my receipt didn't mention anything about how I was not getting any roast beef. It was was obviously altered by someone, did that person also alter the order so that I would not receive bacon, avocado, and mustard? I Called back and said where is my bacon, avocado and mustard? The manager said I didn't order those things, and was not willing to make things right. Hmmm. I just moved here to Apache Junction, AZ from Chandler, AZ
A wrong move I think
I've spent $700 or so on jimmy johns sandwiches for customer lunches ytd. Same as for many previous years.
Over the last couple years the meat content of all their sandwich offerings have
been reduced by I would estimate 75% or so. This last box of sandwiches I brought in to a customer this week literally had one-half slice of meat per sandwich.
Also, I was finally convinced this year to sign up for a jimmy johns online rewards account. After a couple hundred $s of orders I have a free pickle and bag of chips...waste of time.
Looks like I will be trying Firehouse Subs Or Jersey Mike's for customer lunches.
Very convenient location for us we normally dine in. Always fresh veggies and bread. Nice flavors all around good sandwiches. Service is fast Good people good vibes. Restaurant is exceptionally clean and organized. It's very hard to find a restaurant that functions with these very important elements.
Visited on 7/15/23 to store on 8725 Sheridan blvd #8 colorado, manager, (did not get a name as she refused), was short, quite large, colorado and rounded, had black hair, and refused to give a copy of the receipt or refund when her employee made incorrect order. When I brought out my phone that's when she gave me the copy. When I turned, she, the manager, threw liquid (soda or juice) at my back hitting me.
I made an order today and it took almost 2 hours to get my order. I will never order again from the store.
Answer: It's legit but it shouldn't be... I've had 7-11 subs that tasted better than this "food"... questionable
Answer: Few options, and they're fast in delivery. (No time to send anyone to pick up.)
Answer: No. It was terrible they do not know what a Cuban sub is and about broke my teeth on the bread. No press horseradish and mayo on it? Had to request my pickles... that was gross 1st and last time...
