Destynie especially went above and beyond to ensure i was able to give my family the Christmas they deserve after the year everyone has had. Do not order from them. If your package gets shopped wrong they don't care they will charge u instead of stopping the delivery and returning the package and won't give u the product. They will send out separate packages for the items u placed in one order. Go to someone bigger and better for Christmas. I ordered 5 pairs of shoes they all were sent to the wrong address I tried to change it before delivery and manager was rude and would not stop them from being delivered. Five different tracking numbers and money gone don't buy from them.
Journey's should consider changing how they authorize payment, I shouldn't have several of the same pending charges from a single purchase - that makes no sense and can hurt a poor person's bank account. I've seen plenty of reviews about this on the internet concerning Journey's and duplicate charges, I just wish I had read them before purchasing from Journeys. They double charged my account! It put my account in the negative and I was charged an overdraft fee by my bank. "I do apologize but our team will review the double charge and take care of that for you! We are unable to pay for overdraft fees." This was Journey's Customer Service response. Now not only was my account charged but I'll be forced to pay an overdraft fee. DO NOT ORDER FROM JOURNEYS! My bank requested a letter from them explaining their error and their response was that there was no error as the other charges were simply authorization charges and will drop off. Terrible business practices. Save yourself and just shop somewhere else.
I went in to buy some shoes that I had saw in the store the week before and the sales lady had told me that they were all sold out but she insisted that they would have other shoes similar to it that I would like. So she goes to the back and brings back 3 pairs of shoes that are all COMPLETELY different and when I said that I didn't like any of them she all but forces me to try on one of them. When I said that I still didn't like it she was like, "well you should have gotten them when they were here you're not going to find them anywhere else and if you do it'll be double the price" turns out I went to another shoe store in the mall that was directly across from journeys and they had the exact shoe I was looking for, for the same price. The employees here are WAY to pushy and they treat you like their entire life depends on whether or not you buy a pair of shoes.

My 14 year old daughter had been saving her allowance and doing extra chores to have enough money to purchase these shoes she wanted. When she finally had enough money, we went to the store. The size she wanted was out of stock. An employee by the name of Brittany told us that she could place the order and we'll have them within 4/7 day(which I now know was just a scam to make a sale). On the third day my 14 year old daughter tried to track her order and could find nothing. She contacted customer service and was told that the shoe was completely out of stock. She can't get a refund. Neither can she exchange. Her only option is to wait 18 days until the check comes in. When I, her Mother, took over the conversation. I was told the same thing, and I was offered a 10$ coupon for our troubles. My Daughter needs those shoes for school and is left without her shoes or her money. Who takes advantage of a child? I ordered some shoes the night before last and got them this morning. Fastest package I ever got. I was shocked. And my daughter loves her shoes. I'll defiantly be ordering again.
Last year I ordered shoes for my daughter, they never came. Two trips to the mall, talking to two different mama gets, 3 months and several calls later they finally refunded me the cost of the shoes. I decided to give them another chance last week I ordered shoes from them 9th again. To my supreme they came on time, to my dismay they had ordered them in men's instead of women's. SERIOUSLY? So we went back to them mall now because of THEIR mistake we did not qualify for the free shipping and I am praying against all hope that this time the shoes will be fine. 9th top 9th all this I had to MAKE THEM GIVE ME A RECEIPT. If we receive these on time and the correct style and size I might give this company a 3.
I got a pair of timberland order and shipped to my house, when I received it I tired it on and the shoe was to small I tired to return it literally the next morning ( mind you i got the shoes at night) and when I went to the store they claim that i wore the shoes, HOW IN THE WORLD IS THAT POSSIBLE? I ordered a pair of shoes for my son once they came he wore them one day for 6 hours and they busted on the side. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with the reps and asking to speak to three different supervisors I received no resolution I repeat no resolution. I was told I could not return at the store unless it was an item in sellable condition what kind of nonsense is this if I have a damaged product from your store online that I cannot return in the store. I was refused and even exchange I was refused a comparable substitution. I had to beg for a return label which I finally got after one phone call and four different online chats The label covered partial cost of sending them back I was still out money to return them so all in all I paid them for a damaged product that I had to drive to FedEx to return. I asked to have a district manager call me I gave my cell number no one ever called then I was told their information is personal information and cannot be given out I never got anybody's name I gave my phone number and nobody called me I beg of you please please please do not order from this company The customer service is ridiculous I should say there is no customer service¡!

Like many of you reading these reviews I found out after I placed an order what a horrible service journeys.com provides. Not all of the products listed as shipping from the manufacturer are actually listed on the site. Chat support says order cannot be canceled. The hold on the purchase amount if you use a debit card goes away due them never completing the transaction. Of all the times I have made online purchases I have never encountered such a bad shopping experience. The only reason I purchased sneakers from the website is that they had a colorway I have never seen anywhere else. If you have the option to purchase the same item somewhere else even if it costs more, do it and save yourself the frustration from dealing with this company. If enough of us report Journeys to the credit card companies as suspected fraud/deceptive business practices than they will be forced to change or lose the ability to use the credit card billing service. If we just rant online they will do nothing. If we effect their ability to make money they will have no choice but to change their business practices. Worst company ever.

I took my daughter into the store in Wisconsin dells on August 25th. It was her birthday and she really wanted a pair of Converse shoes. They didn't have her size so we ordered the item there and had it shipped to our house. The first item we received were the wrong shoes. They sent me a return label to send back the wrong shoes and they said that they would send out the correct shoes immediately. I sent the shoes back within 2 days, and they never sent out the correct shoes. We waited for 2 weeks. I called them they apologized and promised me that they would send them expedited shipping and we would receive them within one to two days. Four days later and we still have not received the shoes, again! I called there again and they said they had no record of me ever calling in to have the shoes sent out and they were still wondering when I was going to return the original pair. I explained to the person what was going on and told them that it has been almost a month. That I would just like my money back. They said they couldn't help me with that, so I asked for someone higher up. They told me there was no supervisor that I could talk to, and the only thing they could do is put in my order number to the escalation unit. That it would take them three business days to contact me back by email and that even if they did approve my refund. It would be sent back by a check. I won't hold my breath on that. What a sh*t show! I will never order anything from journeys ever again!

Nothing but a nightmare of an experience! A never ending chain of human error. On Dec. 22 I was trying to buy my granddaughter a pair if Adidas in the Monmouth Mall, N. J. store. They didn't have her size. Employee told me to purchase the smaller size and her size would be available for exchange on Dec. 27th. Today is Jan. 27th and the nightmare continues. After several trips to the store for the correct size, when told on the phone that they were in stocks, they did not have them. Finally one week ago I demanded that they ship to my house from their warehouse. Order was placed... Yes warehouses had them... I would have them in 2 to 4 days. No email updates. Yesterday customer service told me the warehouse did not have them and they were coming from another store. Well today they arrived... One sneaker was missing the sole insert. Purchased by debit, not credit. Sorry but they can't give me a cash refund. Filed complaint with consumer affairs and will spread the word of my experience. Store employees were not interested in my purchase issues and customer service supervisor said sorry they can not help me. What a joke!

I called to inquire about my package that was intended to be delivered yesterday 8/8/23. I received an email saying it was delivered while I was at work. After work there is no package. I wait until the next afternoon, again after work to see if maybe the package was delivered after the fact. Nope. I call customer service and I am told that because the delivery driver took a picture of the package that there is nothing they can do for me. So I get transferred to a supervisor, who reiterates that because a picture by a delivery driver was taken that she can't do anything. Can't replace the item that I paid for, cannot track where it could have gone, couldn't process a refund for the item either. How can nothing be done? I go to the police station to make a report and I am told for a lack of better words, that "it's great I filed it, but respectfully there is nothing the police can do." HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have bought shoes exclusively from journeys since I had my first job at 16. Never had a bad experience until now, and I am flabbergasted, I spent over $40 in shoes to be delivered for them to never get to me and be told "oh well". RIDICULOUS. If I could write a bad review on every platform I would. And I will.

I went to Annapolis mall journeys kids yesterday. For one I went in and asked a question and the woman said "what are you talking about" so rudely it was insane. Secondly I got across my question and finally purchased my shoes that I didn't need to try on because I knew my size. I check the shoes in my car after I left and one was clearly dirty and brown and used and one was brand new. I watched her check the shoes before I purchased them I just didn't think to look until I noticed the whole experience was off. I go back in I had my receipt emailed. Never received it even tho she read it to me as she was typing. They then go you paid credit it won't go back on right away. I pay debt with every single thing in my life so I'm unsure how that's true. On top of that. I paid an extra $20 for the same pair of shoes I've boughten multiple times. The price increase wasn't really the problem. It was the fact that she was SO rude, and checked the shoes before ringing them out for me when they were clearly dirty. Even when I went back in she said "so what's wrong with it". I've worked in retail for 9 years and would never just make this up. I even have a picture. One shoe was literally dirty, brown, and worn of some sort and the other was crispy white. She could have said I'm so sorry I'll switch them out instead she tried to make me feel like I was stupid and one wasn't. I have always come to only this store for my vans but absolutely never again. I buy a new pair every few months because I like them to look new but honestly I would rather wait for the delivery and pay for shipping then go back.
After ordering boots on the web site that says 2-5 business days delivery and they deliver 9 business days later they send the wrong size. I got return label on Dec 27 and was told a 2 week turn around with new size so I sent them off. Three weeks later after no contact I followed up. And they had to track it and couldn't find them. After an hour they found them and said I would have them in 2 weeks. Guess what no boots. I chat again. 2 weeks again. Call again. 5 weeks after they get them and they tell me out of stock no contact from them and when were they going to contact me. Oh we don't contact you. If I hadn't followed up what would have happened. I'm in Canada, I asked for supervisor and I got a woman from south states who couldn't care less. Asked to rate their service she said she didn't care. How to explain to a child her Christmas present she was promised 5 times is now not coming. Do not use this company

I placed an order in a store on May 30. When the shoes arrives they was the wrong shoe not even the same brand. I sent the shoes back and ended up having to call and the return was there and they still didn't send out the right shoe. 10 days after they got the shoe back I had to call to get them to send out the right shoe. A week went by no shipping confirmation so I called back and was told that they was expediting my order and it would be next day. Another week went by and still no shoes so I call back for them to tell me that my order was canceled that the shoe was not in stock and a cashiers check had been sent out it will take 10-14 business days. One more call to see where my refund is because I haven't received it yet and was told today that the cashiers check was just sent out on 7-15 and in 10-14 days I should receive it. I WILL NEVER SHOP JOURNEYS AGAIN THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD TRYING TO GET A PAIR OF SHOES JOURNEYS SUCK
Worst. Company. Ever. Their customer service is a disgrace. I literally ordered something from the new Simpsons x Vans collab and being a huge fan of both of those, I was so stoked to get my product. I was even among the first wave of people to purchase from them, like I stayed up late that night and copped them shortly after midnight and guess what, people were still able to cop the morning after. So, after a week of not getting any updates on my order shipping, I get the best (sarcasm) e-mail of my life: they're all like "Sorry, but we had to cancel your order because it is no longer in stock". This literally makes zero sense and while explaining to them how it's absolute BS, they're just like "we're sorry to hear this and I completely understand your frustration, but they're no longer in stock and we had to cancel several other orders too". So yeah, I guess I'm not the only one to witness this company's $#*!tiness. In the original cancel e-mail, they sent me 5 bucks... amazing. Bruh, how about a new pair of shoes. It's not like I'm expecting a successful order with this coupon.

I purchased some UGG shoes, last minute, because the shoes I was wearing would have been too uncomfortable for the event I was going to (xmas event with mostly standing, no running around, jumping, nothing). I specifically asked the sales associate about the return policy and informed her that, I will only be wearing them once and returning or exchanging for the UGG boot I really want. She stated multiple times " You can definitely return it, if it is good condition. We give you a year." Im like "wow a year!" She says yeah, well of course if the shoes stays in good condition." Now this is where this becomes a lie and makes the whole year time frame, worthless. I wore the shoes once and went back to the store to exchange them a week later. Sticker still looks decent at the bottom of the shoe, no marks, damage, NOTHING! She assumed the side of the shoe was messed up and we all know if you move suede a certain way, it looks darker. I moved the suede to show her and she says "oh ok, but yeah since its worn we cant." I continue to reiterate what the associate told me and showed her how there is nothing wrong with the shoe and she said nope, we can't take these because you wore them. Well duh, I told the girl that helped me for 20 minutes and checked me out that I would for a night. At this point, its like change your return policy to state, " Shoe must NOT be worn and be returned within a few days." Because a year of not wearing a shoe, even once, doesn't add up. Giving a year goes best with a returnable shoe, even if it has a little scuff at the bottom of the shoe. They attempt to sell you shoe cleaner etc, use the same product to clean the bottom a little more, change the sticker and BOOM, brand new shoe. Now I see why no one shops at Journeys anymore. Ill stick to Nike, Footlocker, etc.

For starters, I have no issues with Journey's as a brand. I have been a shopper there before, and will be at another store in the future. This one specific incident was in a mall in Ohio, and involved two specific employees. I was talking with one of the sales people and they were being really nice to me, not pressuring me to buy shoes, just having a nice chat about shoes and stuff in general, and when I get checked out, I hear an employee talking to who I can only assume to be his superior, and he asked the woman why she stole his sale, and the gist of her response was "I had to, because you weren't doing your job." Not only did this seem to be very unprofessional, as she all but she also made it seem like they only see customers as walking money dispensers, and if she is part of the staff for much longer, I would be both surprised and appalled.
Clearly I don't want to be seen as a dollar amount and instead as a human being. I will not be shopping at this store again, and would HIGHLY recommend avoiding the Dayton Mall Journey's store at any costs.
TL; DR, rude employee tells coworker that they aren't doing their job and that customers are nothing more than people with cash and credit cards. Not going back to that store
I went to the journeys store in Robinson Township Pa and had to place a order through the store because they was out of the tan uggs for my son. We waited 10 days and I still didn't receive my order so I track it... come to find out THEY CANCELED MY ORDER WITHOUT A EMAIL, TEXT, NOTHING I literally had to find out after tracking my order, so I go online and I get ahold of a representative via text and she told me that they ran out of the tan (confusing. Cause How the fu*k did they place the order in the store?) so the lady says to me" no problem we will order you new ones in black" since then its been another 7 days and no black uggs! So I again get ahold of customer service and they tell me that my order WAS NEVER UPDATED TO BLACK... now I have to go back to pa to get my money back. And WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE! I recommend you do the same

My husband and I where extremely excited to hear about the new Harry Potter Vans that where coming out! We each perches two pairs of shoes each the day it was released. We both went into the journey store. My husband bought the deathly hallows(instore) and the dark Arts(online, through the store). I, on the other hand, bought the ravenclaw (instore) and (what I thought was mine) the Daily prophets(online through the store)... well I was eager awaiting the arrival of my shoes (after my husbands arrived one day later) when I decided (6 days latter) to go to the store and inquire about my online order... well they gave me a customer service number to call who informed me that my order has been canceled... journey didn't email/call before I made the attempt to contact them... journey did not inform me that I may or may not receive the shoes. Journey informed me that there is nothing they can do... even though they messed up... they literally gave the vibe of I don't really care... the Harry Potter Vans are soo amazing, but I would strongly advise to buy them or any shoes through some place else. They are not reliable at all...
