I ordered a pair of Heely's shoes for my son's 9th birthday early in the morning on May 30th. The money was immediately taken out of my account, and even though they 'pull the order within 24 hours', it took them until JUNE 3RD (that's approximately 24 hours x 5) to notify me that my order had been CANCELLED by them, because it was 'no longer in stock'. Now it is June 8th and I STILL do not have the money back in my account to try to go find another pair SOMEWHERE ELSE. They offered me a whopping 15% discount 'on my next order'. Well Journeys, save your 15%, I will NOT be shopping with you again.
I ordered my cute, adorable RED New balance tennies on Tuesday, May 2,2017, and I received updates from the time I placed the order informing me of what was happening with my order. Yesterday, Thursday, May 4,2017, I received an email from Journey's letting me know my shoes had shipped and they'd be here by today - Friday, May 5,2017, but I thought, "NO WAY!" But, WAY! I have them on my feet right now and I love them!
I went in to buy a certain shoe I asked for my size and the guy comes out with 4 pairs of shoes. I tried on the ones I wanted and I was happy with them so I said these are great I'll take them. Next thing I know he's opening the other boxes saying "I figured you may like these shoes as well" I said "no thanks I'll just take the ones I wanted " He then proceeded to bring over 2 pairs of socks saying "buy 2 packs for $5 " I said "no thanks he then brought over a can of spray and said "we have spray to keep white shoes white" I said no thanks.
Anyway the point is it was to much I understand your trying to make your sales but jeeze back off... I'll order online for now on
I purchased a pair of shoes online from Journey's for my husband's birthday. The shoes did not fit and we mailed them back to exchange for a different size, following the instructions at Journey's.com. I battled for 2 months with Journeys who said we had never returned them and one sales rep said "no one really does returns by mail". I was furious at being out $80, but finally gave up because I was getting no results and vowed never to shop at Journeys again... 6 months later I received a check in the mail with no explanation for $10 less than I paid. This was better than nothing, but I had actually requested a different sized shoe not a refund! This was also the incorrect amount! I still will never shop with this company again.
Was my sons 16th bday he knew what he wanted but the guy kept bringing out shoes he didn't want after telling him several times then tried to up sale and I get that but the kid (with an accent) showed us a demonstration with the shoe spray. After 45 min and buying the shoes he wanted I sprayed the same can the kid did on the shoe and he insisted I buy it. I said I only did what u did he called me a lier and think what I wanted continued on saying I had to buy this $15 can of show spay. Told him I just want my money back then and said fine continuing to laugh. All over a quick spray. Went down to FAMOUS FOOTWARE where not only were we in and out in 5 min I left happy and she even gave me a $10 discount. HORRIBLE customer service! Sandy southtown mall
My 14 year old daughter had been saving her allowance and doing extra chores to have enough money to purchase these shoes she wanted. When she finally had enough money, we went to the store. The size she wanted was out of stock. An employee by the name of Brittany told us that she could place the order and we'll have them within 4/7 day(which I now know was just a scam to make a sale). On the third day my 14 year old daughter tried to track her order and could find nothing. She contacted customer service and was told that the shoe was completely out of stock. She can't get a refund. Neither can she exchange. Her only option is to wait 18 days until the check comes in. When I, her Mother, took over the conversation. I was told the same thing, and I was offered a 10$ coupon for our troubles. My Daughter needs those shoes for school and is left without her shoes or her money. Who takes advantage of a child? Who does that? How is a 10$ going to put shoes on my daughters feet? I'm sharing our experience on every social media site known to man. I will not let Journeys do this to another child. I RECEIVED A PAIR OF SHOES AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT. I WENT TO THE STORE TO REURN THEM WITH THE RECIEPT. I WAS TOLD I HAD TWO OPTIONS INSTORE CREDIT OR THEY COULD CREDIT THE CARDHOLDERS ACCOUNT ( I WOULD NEED THE GIFT GIVERS CREDIT /DEBIT CARD.) REALLY? THEY WERE A GIFT... SHOULD I THEN CALL THE GIFT GIVER TELL THEM " HEY THE SHOES YOU BOUGHT ME AS A GIFT WERE NOT MY STYLE SO I RETURNED THEM, JOURNEYS CREDITED YOUR CARD AND NOW YOU OWE ME THE CASH" SERIOUSLY?
I bought a pair of boots online for my sons girlfriend. They didn't fit, so she went in to exchange them. They told her she had to send them back because I paid with PayPal. When I wrote to complain, I was offered a five dollar coupon- are you kidding me?
I went online to order my daughters shoes. I had to process it 3 times, the first time gave me an error, the second time the system shut down, the 2nd time it went through. Before I did each transaction i waited about 5 minutes to make sure I was not charged and checked my email to see if a confirmation had been sent. NOTHING. Well 15 minutes after the 3rd transaction I began getting emails showing that all 3 transactions went through. OK, No Problem, I'll cancel 2 of the 3. Well joke is on me. You can not cancel an order. Period, no exceptions. That is ridiculous and should be considered fraudulent. I spend a lot of money in Journeys thanks to my 3 kids but this will be the last.
UPDATE:
In the spirit of fairness this happened: Journeys went in the next morning and cancelled 2 of the orders. So that I was only charged for the one order. Now to make it a little funny, they sent 2 pair of shoes! I have returned one pair.
I ordered a Christmas gift for my daughter on journeys.com on 12/17. The item was supposed to be in stock, whiche meant I would have it within a week or so. When it didn't arrive as planned I called customer service and was told it was being fulfilled in a store. Fine. Would it be here in time? "Yes."
By the 22nd, when it hadn't arrived, I went to our local store to inquire about help and tracking. The store manager arranged for overnight shipping so that it would be on my doorstep by the 23rd. He advised that I call customer service within an hour to get tracking info. I did that. I was told that tracking info wouldn't be available until later in the day. So I called. Again. I was asked if the service rep could call me back after she got in touch with the store. Sure. By this point I've pretty much lost hope, but I'm waiting to see what they're gonna do.
She calls and leaves a voice mail later (I was in a movie - I have a life outside of making calls for customer service). Her voice mail tells me that she has been calling all day and that the store manager was just too busy to take her call. I call b. S.
So, just for grins I call again today, 12/24. The service rep calls the says tore again and then says that they're just today putting a shipping label on it, but that they won't ship until Monday, 12/26. So I ask for her to cancel my order. Then I'm told it's too late. I can't get my money back.

Don't order anything online from journeys unless you want to wait wks for it to ship. Customer service sucks to. Guy was just like sorry. Pos... I would give them a 0 if the option was there.
The employees pushed the crep protection spray when I bought my son's shoes saying you could spill tomato sauce on them and it would be so easy to get off, well my son can't even walk a day at school with out them getting stained with the so called good spray on them I used a half a can and it doesn't work it's also supposed to make it water proof nope doesn't work. When you call to see if you can get some kind of refund even half of my money nope nothing and they act like you used it wrong. Maybe they should test the product they sell before they tell people it's so good
I can't stand Journey's. Horrible customer service in store and a website that is awful. They also double charged my online order for a pair of boots and then they refused to credit my account back even though it was their mistake. I will go directly through the shoe brand instead of messing with this horrible business.
I brought a pair of shoes for my child and never received them. I called for the package or refund they told me UPS had to research. It has been a month and I still do not have a refund or my package. They are horrible is I paid for a product you should provide or give people their money back...
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER SHOE FROM THEIR WEBSITE EVER AGAIN! I'm taking it upon myself to write bad views everywhere I can, because this place deserves to be dogged. I ordered shoes on August 2 and as of now I have still yet to receive them and it is August 12. I paid for 3-5 days shipping and I deserve free shipping. I'm so frustrated I'm willing to sue. Not only did they not communicate what was going on with my purchase, but apparently they just took my money and didn't put my shoes in process. I've got in a live chat 3 times seeking assistance and every time they feed me excuses! They never email back like they say and never follow through on what they say. This company is trash! I've never had a problem purchasing in store but after this experience I won't purchase anything from them, because they don't deserve my services. I want to cancel my order, but guess what? THEY TOLD ME I COULDN'T. I'm almost close to believing I was scammed. Don't waste your time online.
On May 17 2016 I went and bought two pair of shoes for my kids and some socks which and everything was fine until I paid using my Visa Debit Card, I was told that my card was rejected that I only had 10 dollars left something that was no possible so I said I will call my bank to find out whats going on and I left the store so I got into my bank account using my cell phone and I found out that they had charged me the $ 100.57 any ways I got back to the store and complained to the manager so he called journeys support and after 30 minutes or so they requested that I Email them a copy of my bank account showing the charge which I did that day, they sent me an Email saying that some from customer care was going to contact me within 24 hours to handle it but over a week later and and no one has called me, so I called them back and after one hour of discussion all they say is that the refund can take up to 30 days to process because it was charged using a Debit Card, which was very frustrating to find out, I spoke to a supervisor and I just went off on him and worst that he told me that they do not sent Email to let customers know whats going on with their refunds either you call and find out or you wait and nothing happens... the worst place to buy and request a refund. I would not recommend buying from...
The Newportmall location in jersey city and the customer service center has gave me hell! My husband purchased a pair of ugg's for Valentine's Day for me and they were to small. I decided to return them back to the store for a different size. The associate in the store told me that they did not have my size in store but they do have it available online. He told me that they can be purchased online and sent to my home in 2-3 business days. I decided to go ahead and let him order them for me. A week has passed and I have not received any tracking information so I took it upon myself to call the store. The person on the phone told me that I need to call customer service because the order was cancelled, immediately I asked where is my money? I called customer service and both associate and manger told me that I have to wait up to 12 days to receive a check! I'm and extremely pissed and disgusted with this services it did not take 12 days for your guys to take my moeny so why do I have to wait to receive it back. I will never shop with this store or sister stores again!
I was pleased with ordering from Journeys. I've been to the store and only purchased socks from them. I never order shoes online since I wear a half size and can never seem to find shoes that fit just right. Well, the website is pretty easy to maneuver and I ended up getting 4 pairs of converse, sperry's & polo for less than $200. To me that was a steal! And two pairs came straight from the store. I was always updated with confirmation and when my items were shipped.
Only issue I had was I got two pairs in the mail first and it had someone else's invoice inside of it. I waited until the second couple pairs came in but they just had mine on the outside. Even said it was handpicked by an employee. & one coupon for each pair of shoes! After the order I have received tons of emails from Journeys since then. I had to throw it in my spam folder. It took the average amount of days 5-7. And the shoes fit myself & my husband perfectly. I'd order from them again.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THE IDIOTS ON THE PHONE WERE STUPID AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE CLOSE TO IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF. THEY DON'T CALL BACK OR EMAIL BACK AND WHEN WE CALLED ON THE PHONE. THE FIRST PERSON ORDERED US THE WRONG COLOR AND THE SECOND PERSON SAID SOMETHING WAS IN STOCK WHEN IN REALITY IT REALLY WASN'T.
