The tech's knowledge was solid and advice was what i expected. I have an old receiver that failed to power up. After more than 30 years of reliable service he told me the time had come to probably get a new one. With few shops available anymore, unless it is a very high end unit, the cost of repair and inconvenience outweigh the purchase of a replacement.
This business is a scam. They advertise a small $2 charge for answers but discretely sign you up for an outrageous monthly subscription fee without being upfront about it. It's hidden in the fine print and is slimey and a scam. Avoid at all costs!
I was lured into the website and taken advantage of. I saw $5 for the initial consultation then if I wish to have the membership, $60. I canceled within minutes when I realized that JustAnswer had charged me $65. This was devastating to me.

Requested a phone call - 10 minutes later a CHAT BOX opener from Matthew. Responded to his question with a detailed reply. 25 minutes later no replies from him. Again, i requested a phone call. Waited an additional 10 minutes in the CHAT BOX and then signed out.
I will be asking for a refund if I do not receive a phone call from a qualified technician soon.

Hard to rate this. I know i needed a scan tool to pull code, but i also needed info to replace the part, which he did not have access to. So yes he answered a question, but was not helpful.

He was helpful and polite. He knew what he was doing and what the next step was. It was great to get answers instead of the run around. I really enjoyed it.
My problem was an issue that involved my inability to get my primary email to sign into Microsoft Outlook. For some reason Outlook kept indicating that my primary email did not exist. The technician, Fiyaz, spent a good amount of time looking at my computer remotely and was finally able to solve the issue, allowing my primary email to convert to Outlook. Fiyaz was very patient and understanding due to my being hearing impaired. He was very capable and professional. I was lost without his help.
I advised them that I did not want a continuous contractual obligation that I could not afford and they complied. I got a note (text) from a Mr. Covelli advisung me of that fact and stated that I could restart my account in the future if I needed help.
It was recomended to me by Microsoft.
I am involved in an ADA case and I would not have gotten the answers I needed right away if it wasn't for her knowledge in litigation proceedings. I will be using this service again as I have done in times past, it has never failed me. I am more prepared & confident in my case. Again, thank you Attorney Sol.
It is necessary for me to let others (represented by an attorney or pro se) know that they are not alone whether they use this service or not. I have used this service over the years (sparingly) and I refuse to go anywhere else.

My washing machine controls were locked up. Tried to reset without turning off the power. Didn't work. Tried shutting off the breaker. Couldn't find the correct breaker. Had to move the dryer to unplug the washer. Plugged washer back in, and was able to reset.

I had an issue with my email account. Unfortunately, I could not wait for too long. This site tried really hard to help me. However, when they sent me an invoice was the wrong one. I panic, but the assured me that everything will be solved in few minutes, they do not charge me a cent.
They contacted me back straight away with a solution, very profesional approach, if I need help in the future this is the people I need to contact.

Your advice to try replacing the fuel pressure regulator worked as of now.
Time will tell. The fuel pressure is what I should have checked before.
No more starting problems or check engine lights. I used a standard pr217 regulator from oreillys. There are less expensive brands available. I took a 250 mile trip at 56 mph and got 36.93 miles per gallon.

I needed advice for my son military status it was a unique scenario since it was the military from Israel and he is a US citizen. More than one lawyers but especially one gave me such great advice and information that literally gave us so much hope and happiness.
Needed a fast answer and we got it.
The wait to speak with a vet was no longer than 5 minutes. The vet was polite, knowledgeable and informative. The aftermath, however, was disappointing. I received a flurry of emails asking for follow up positive reviews. I finally had to block everything.
It came up first when I used the internet to find online advice.

What a rip off. I was faced with a vehicle stuck in an intersection near my house with snow teeming down and it was getting dark. I needed a quick answer to a question and felt that $2 was reasonable for someone's long distance input. $49 was added to the bill which I could only have noticed if I had the time to open up the follow up emails that were sent while guiding cars around my vehicle. On top of all that, there were long delays in getting through and in the end the service tech could only give me the same information that I got from the error code. (Icing on the cake: i'm a retired senior on limited income. Well played Just Answer. Maybe change the name to Just Charge!)

I was contacting Amazon about this issue. I got transferred some how to your site. I then got tricked into giving them my info and credit card numbers. I thought they were going to refund my money. But then I found out this company has nothing to do with Amazon. I contacted them and it seems there not going to refund my money. After that they sent a answer than didn't answer any of my question
