I did ask a specific model-specific question about a refrigerator, but "experts" should either be able to provide guidance or just admit they don't know. Neither of those happened.
The initial answer didn't happen until I called to ask when I would get an answer. The initial didn't say more than could be found from youtube.
After I provided additional information on diagnostic work I had already done to isolate the area where the problem, but the next expert response was to point out that I hadn't tried things the expert suggested - despite already stated were NOT the problem, and further that I hadn't really described the problem.
Things went downhill from there where the expert essentially argued that my refrigerator did not have components that I already described multiple times were in fact there. This was after I gave the out to give up if the answer wasn't known.
Finally, the expert conceded and opened the question to another expert, but this was near the end of the 7-day trial, which at this point would not be continued.
I did get a "good faith" response from customer service apologizing and stating a 2nd expert would review. After some time, there was a response which I didn't know about (no emails like as previously) until it was "closed". The second expert started at the beginning with a generic comment and asking me what I had tried so far. I guess didn't think that as a second opinion that it might be useful to read the first round.
General comment, communicating online or by phone seemed to be a choice. I elected online thinking it would allow the expert to "follow" and digest the provided technical details. In the midst of online communication, there was an option to switch to a phone conversion, but for an additional $24. The $5 trial was a waste, $24 would certainly have been a bigger waste when I had to hang up on the expert in frustration after being told when was in front of my face in the refrigerator wasn't there.

Initially the services were fantastic. I signed up to ask a couple of legal questions. I knew that I wasn't going to need the services for longer than a month so I made sure to cancel right after I had signed up. Doing so would keep me from being billed for a second month. Pearl seems to be the virtual assistant and she was very short and rude with me. On or about April 2,2022 I cancel my membership, receive chat confirmation from Pearl and I thought that was the end of it. I never received a confirmation email or text and that's when I should have realized something was wrong. Fast forward to the following month when I noticed a charge on my account from justanswer.com for another billing cycle. I try to contact them right away via chat and pearl is very short with me and continues to disconnect from my chat. At this point I'm pretty frustrated so I send an email as well as try to call the 800 number. I also continue try the chat when I finally get a hold of what Pearl and she connect's me with someone named Andre. I explain the situation to him and he still refuses to refund. Mind you I haven't used the services in 2 weeks. My experience with the customer service department was horrible. There was no professionalism and there was no courtesy. I know without a doubt that I spoke with pearl and canceled my membership on or about April 2,2022 and they failed to cancel it, charged me for another month and are now refusing to refund me. Honestly speaking to both of their customer service Representatives was like dealing with my abusive ex who tried to gaslight me all the time. I literally felt like they were gaslighting me. This is my experience with them. I highly recommend that you are very careful when dealing with them as far as your membership goes. Be very clear and make sure you receive confirmation via email or text when you decide to cancel your membership.
Tip for consumers:
Other than the poor customer service and they're complete disregard for my problem, the experts working with them to answer questions are great. It was a wonderful and inexpensive way to get some legal questions answered. Make sure you read the trial information because it's not a $1 trial, it''s $1 to verify your bank account and then they charge you $46 right away. This is another way to get you.

I am a senior citizen on a limited income and had minor trouble installing a Roku stick. While trying to find information about this Roku product, Just Answer popped up so I thought it was associated with Roku somehow. I saw a $1 fee and thought I could afford that. So I gave them my bank card number. BIG MISTAKE. They charged me $46. When I contacted them asking for a refund, I received the following reply:
