The tech's knowledge was solid and advice was what i expected. I have an old receiver that failed to power up. After more than 30 years of reliable service he told me the time had come to probably get a new one. With few shops available anymore, unless it is a very high end unit, the cost of repair and inconvenience outweigh the purchase of a replacement.
This business is a scam. They advertise a small $2 charge for answers but discretely sign you up for an outrageous monthly subscription fee without being upfront about it. It's hidden in the fine print and is slimey and a scam. Avoid at all costs!
Just answer really answers your question and then give explanation for clear understanding, great job for only $1

My dog ate something he shouldn't have. We weren't sure if it was necessary to take him to the ER. The vet assessed the situation and said it wasn't necessary to take him in, and now he's doing fine. I think ou may jsust running a scam. Bank rejected my card for no good reason. Went from one chat to a second chat and then a phone call but the caller couldn't call me although the number was correct. Altogether just a run around to collect $339 and do nothing. Goodbye.

I needed help on a Licensing Agreement and was given great advice by Howard. He also advised me on how to structure my business.
Because I couldn't find a local lawyer who had time to read my contract.
Presented my issue and received an in depth explanation on what to ask my mechanic as there may have been a misdiagnosed situation.

Do not deal with these people. I was supposed to be charged 5.00 on my credit card which was refundable. They charged me 46.00. I didn't get to speak to anyone. Refund me now! I am disputing the charge

I was told I would only be charged $2, then stung for $66. Their "customer service" was useless, just kept saying their policy wouldn't allow a refund. I said it was illegal to tell someone you were sending them a link to pay $2 and then charge them $66 in the hope they don't read the small print. If I'm in a shop, they tell me something is $2 and then when they ring it up I wave my card and get hit for $66, that's illegal. So is this.
Tip for consumers:
They claim their fees are all disclosed, but they are highly misleading.

I have had money taken from my credit card. I authorized a 5 dollar fee but so far 32 dollars was taken from my credit card plus 32 more. Still no answer even though I was told I had an answer sent to me.

On January 4th, 2024 I paid JustAnswer $35 to provide me with an appraisal of my trombone which they failed to do even after I supplied them with a complete description and several photos of my musical instrument (trombone).
I contacted them several times in an effort to receive an appraisal which they continually fail to do.
I would like to be refunded of my money that I paid them for this subscription.

I didn't. The Costa Rica LG service redirected me to Just Answer - no choice. Just pay the US $5.
