The tech's knowledge was solid and advice was what i expected. I have an old receiver that failed to power up. After more than 30 years of reliable service he told me the time had come to probably get a new one. With few shops available anymore, unless it is a very high end unit, the cost of repair and inconvenience outweigh the purchase of a replacement.
This business is a scam. They advertise a small $2 charge for answers but discretely sign you up for an outrageous monthly subscription fee without being upfront about it. It's hidden in the fine print and is slimey and a scam. Avoid at all costs!
I was attended to promptly. My questions were answered in a clear and concise fashion. I am happy with service.

I signed up for a £5 trial that lasts three days. I cancelled after two days and was charged £50. I have been on their chat and emailed directly asking who they are regulated by and how to make a formal complaint. They REFUSE to answer this. Total and utter scam, they have stolen £50 from me.

My puppy was vomitting in the middle of the night and I noticed bits of rubber in it. Knowing that this dog will literally eat anything, I was worried about a possible obstruction. The vet was able to give me advice that helped me stay calm and know when to seek immediate attention.
We experienced a crippling issue with a download of a Microsoft product and couldn't get anywhere with it. The designated agent introduced himself, asked if he could have access to our computer over the internet, and went to work. He worked rapidly, interacted with a Microsoft agent, and solved the seemingly complicated problem. We're up-and-running now, and extremely grateful for Shefin's expertise. He was patient, courteous and obviously knowledgeable. We have found our "go to" site for future issues that are beyond our (limited) capabilities.
WSe were transferred to JustAnswer after making our initial contact with Microsoft.
I never got to talk to anyone. All I needed was to correct the street number of the delivery. As a consequence I'm out $100. & my sister never got her valentines gift. Your system is impossible to work through to a satisfactory conclusion.

In trying to access the Reader's Digest website, you have to click on a security box to prove you are a human. The problem is I would click on the box and the software would come right back to the step to check the box.
My support person tried very hard to resolve the issue, but to no avail. I got completely frustrated with the whole thing and signed off the JustAnswer site.
I would recommend that the support staff use remote diagnostic software to log on to my computer to see what was going on and to resolve the problem directly rather than by asking questions by text.
Customer rep tried to be very helpful, but unfortunately not productive in resolving the issue. To top it off, Reader's Digest said the service was $1, but I just saw a $55 charge on my credit card.
It was recommended to me by Reader's Digest.

I found out that chocolate in small amounts isn't toxic even to small dogs. My dog didn't get any symptoms from it and I was happy and relieved with the info.
I was desperate to find someone who could answer my questions about dogs and chocolate.

Thank you for having this app as an option to help our puppy. Surprisingly easy to use, fast response by vet, and very reasonable fee.
I called emergency fee and to just be seen cost $200.00 up front and fee does not include any treatment or care. I was told to call pet poison hotline and you had to pay $85.00 immediately. Phone call was less than 5 minutes and the advice was provided in the time it took to pay the fee. Just told to take our dog to emergency vet. I said the same information to both places. I didn’t have the funds to pay the vet $200.00+ and now the $85.00 I spent for a less than 5 minute call with the answer to go back to emergency vet. The vet I spoke with on Just Answer was very helpful and the advice was to monitor our dog and if she began to shake or pant, then take her in. She consumed about 50 mg of Adderall accidentally about 2 hours before we found 2 pills in her dog bed. But we still weren’t 100% sure how much she consumed. We feel scammed by the emergency vet and poison control place. Very pleased with the $5.00 refundable fee and other features on Just Answer. Thank you very much!

I had added the two step sign in option for Facebook and then misplaced my codes. No matter how many hours I put into getting Facebook I just could not manouver their system. Just Ask had kind, patient and knowledgeable that had me signed into Facebook within the hour.
Seemed most cost effective and they were.
The only site which was able to allow me to find a potential way to minimize my facial pain.

Advice was general and mostly vague, regardless of the level of detail provided. In fact, if too much detail was provided, all questions weren't answered and the nuances weren't observed. Also, have to do some research before asking, as this service does not work if a) you don't know EXACTLY what to ask [as the counselor will not guide you at all] and b) you don't know what laws to cite when you ask [as the counselor seems to focus their answers more on what they remember from past cases they've handled and will do minimal research, if any, on your specific case]. In fact, I had to guide the counselor to the relevant law citations. In the end, I got most of what I needed. But only after following the aforementioned advice. So, it was a decent first experience with this service (or any like it). I had to work for it, though.
It was an AI assistant that I spoke to. Asked for a second opinion and haven’t received one yet. To be fair, I notified the AI assistant on a Thursday at about 4:30pm. It is now Saturday, so perhaps a referral will arrive Monday 🤷🏽♂️

My little Bichon helped herself to some Valentine chocolate. The vet was fast to respond, calculating her weight, age, and amount of chocolate to determine likely outcome. I followed the medication advice the vet provided. He was spot on. Such a relief!
Needed help after hours.
Absolute scam artists. Quote that it will be a $2 refundable amount then charged AU $68. I didn't avail of any services. They then lock the chat so you can't communicate with them at all.
Terms and conditions not accessible which is in breach of legislative requirements.

I had a problem with Microsoft software on my computer. I pad my money and never received any support. I contacted Just Answer to cancell my subscription which they never did. I later noticed that for three months they took $180 off my credit card and would not return my money. $180 + dollars lost for their incompetence.

I caught my puppy chewing on a stem that a quick google search identified as toxic. The vet quickly asked questions, told me how to handle and what to watch for, and calmed my anxiety.

You receive advice from experts, but the information they give you is similar to what you could find if you just looked it up online. They aren't able to give you actual legal advice which is understandable, given the platform. They are very professional and answer your questions promptly. I do wish that they would do a little research with your questions. They will say things like "I'm not familiar with your states laws" or "I'm not familiar with the Federal Trade Commissions regulations on that". As a doctor myself, if I don't know something that my patients ask about, I research it and use my professional (base) knowledge to more easily understand/analyze it and convey that to my patients in an unadorned way so they can understand it.
I needed professional advice on a legal matter concerning online gaming.
This site us a total scam. They take advantage of desperate vulnerable people. They advertise as $2 and then slip in this so called membership for $66. Absolutely disgusting and I will be spreading word so noone else gets ripped off
