“Wrong schematics”

Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.

Utilized the service in April and May of 2023 and paid the agreed amount of $59.00 each month. They charged me another $5.00 they were not supposed to, but the larger problem is they charged me $59.00 per month for each of June, July, August, September, October, November, and December of 2023, totaling $418.00 when I only approved charges of $118.00 total ($59.00 x 2 months).

My cc finally put a stop payment on the vendor and the vendor stated they would stop charging me, but who knows if it will work since they already charged me more than triple what I agreed to pay and refused to refund my money.

Deceptive marketing practices which result in over-billing.

Sent a chat question to a mechanic who was "online". The interface said my wait time for a response would be 8 minutes. Twelve hours later, still no response. Instead of "Just Answer", the company's title should be "Just Sit and Wait for an Answer, Maybe"... And I'm supposed to pay for that? I can become a member to any number of internet forums and get that kind of treatment - free of charge.

Tip for consumers:
Just Answer is not a reliable service. The interface can tell you that your response wait time is several minutes and you can wind up waiting days without a response to a legitimate question or problem posed to "experts". You're better off joining an internet forum where you don't have to pay to wait for an answer that may or may never come.

JustAnswer seems to be gaming search engines so that when you want information from a company (such as AT&T or Apple, in my case), and you're not careful about what you're doing, you may get referred to their services. In my case, the JustAnswer consultant gave me an answer that was wrong, and following the advice provided, I wasted a few hours and had many problems that I could have avoided. Also, I only saw that I was going to be charged a €1 fee, but in fact I received a credit-card bill for over $49, and that would have been a monthly charge until I noticed and cancelled it. I caught it, and cancelled. It's not easy to cancel, in my opinion. The monthly subscription costing over $49 is sneaky, and was hidden in fine print or not mentioned at all when I filled in my information to get a consultation (answer). I consider JustAnswer to be a disreputable company, and warn against it.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid them and don't give them your credit card information!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I enlisted this service to get an answer about a health concern with my dog, happily agreed to the $5 as I felt like it was fair for the answer I needed. I was surprised to see I was charged $40 on my credit card. Apparently by agreeing to the $5 charge you are agreeing to a membership ($35 a month) until you cancel. This is not explicitly stated ANYWHERE. In my desperation for an answer about my dog, I didn't have a chance to fully read the terms and conditions where this is apparently stated. It's horrible that this site is doing this to probably many people in need of a quick answer to a medical problem. Who knows if they even have real doctors or vets working for them. Oh, and if you ask customer service for a refund they'll insist they can't give one until you threaten a bad review or disputing with your credit card company. Watch out for this site.

Just go to a mechanic, it'll cost you about the same. I paid only for a guy to try and up sell me buy telling me that I need to talk to him which only costed more money. This website is fraudulent be the onset knows it that why he's too much of a coward to refund your money.

My wife has dementia and she got onto JustAnswer web site. They took her money and refused to return it when I contacted them. They wanted to take control of my computer. I refused and I suggest you refuse as well. Horrible corporation. Fundamentally a fraud. Returns are impossible to get.

I have ask Dr Ali 3 or 4 questions at different times and she was right there to answer all my questions! I sent her photos of my legs which had an infection and she quickly diagnosis my problem. She recommended what to do and I took her information to a doctor who agreed with her! I felt very empowered to go into the doctor's office knowing what I wanted.
