“Wrong schematics”

Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.

**DO NOT USE THIS SITE**
I was sent to this site to find a solution for a problem with my watch. They initially stated, I think it was $37.00. Next they sent me to a technician who said that he would take care of it for another $50.00 which I refused and come to find out that they charged my account $60.00 and I received absolutely nothing in return. They don't refund money.

I had never used JustAnswer before, but for my problem item which was worth hundreds I thought I would give it a shot. I was pleasnatly surprised when the responses were quick and accurate. The technician understood the product and even made recommendations on what to get if the product could not be repaired. I would use the site again

The you so much to Dr. Captain! Because of his guidance I was able to receive the proper care in time. I'm scheduled for surgery soon. If it had not been for his guidance, I would have still been waiting for the issue to pass! Greatly appreciate your service. Thank you!

I signed up thinking there was a one time fee of $1.00 and ended up being charged $50.00/month without knowing it until some months later. Granted, I should have checked my credit card statement on line. They said they sent me a confirmation email online which must have gone into my junkmail folder because I never saw it. I cancelled as soon as I realized what had happened and asked for a refund of what I already paid but they refused. I should have been more on top of it but they should have been more understanding of my situation as a retiree on a very minimal fixed income and been granted a refund for the hundreds of dollars I spent for a membership I virtually never used and didn't even know I was being charged for. This is a company without compassion. Don't use them.

Make sure if you sigh up you know its a trial membership and not one time use and be sure to cancel within the trial period

I have called them several times when I didn't know the answer to a question that I had. The questions were on a range of different topics too but they have always been able to give me an answer that totally answered my question.
Highly recommended for any type of question.

Next time I would rather go out and have a face-to-face free attorney consultation. This is what I get for being lazy. I paid almost $50 for a one sentence answer. It took me more time to setup the account then what it took the attorney to write a one paragraph reply. And not even a good reply. I hope you can have a better experience.

Been to two mechanics three days in a row to get my Honda fixed. Final answer to go to Honda or sell car fast. Thru this site U was able to talk to a Honda mechanic without worrying about being sold anything or overcharged for a repair. He was able to direct me to a better solution that I can tell my mechanic to do instead.

The person I dealt with was very helpful and pleasant to work with. When I was obvious that I needed further help I was directed to the manufacturer's site and told where to start. Pretty painless actually.

L spoke to a jaguar expert, who helped me with my car, and the advise l received was steller, and l was speaking to this chap, whilst l was in the middle of the desert in Saudi Arabia, so l found it very helpful indeed. The expert was clear in his advice and did not confuse me, and he also tried to save me money, by advising me to check fault codes rather than just buy a new part for my car. L will use Ronnie again, thank you

These people are SCAM ARTISTs! When you are in a panic about your pet, they make it look like you will be charged $5 for an answer and then take FOREVER to give you an answer. ( I was already at the vets office when I finally got an answer). Then they automatically sign you up for a $35 per month fee and won't refund this when you realize it because you "asked a question". This is not made clear on their web site. Look for yourself.

I was linked to this service via Interval International site and was offered a $2 question to be answered by JustAnswer. My question was answered after several minutes and really wasn't anything I didn't already know - so essentially worthless. I later find out that they have charged my credit card a monthly membership of $71. What a deceiving, unethical company. They state I consented to the membership fee, but I know I wouldn't have used this service if a membership fee was going to be charged. Several requests for a refund on my membership fee have been declined. Don't use or trust this service - it's useless and basically a scam!

Three months ago I got on here to pay a dollar for an answer not $34.99 I called them they were supposed to cancel my so-posed subscription, which I never agreed to pay $34.99 for a monthly subscription. They did not cancel it and they have been taking money out of my account ever since and they will not refund my money because they drop the ball. This company is a joke I would suggest.never using this site

I will be suing y'all

They promise to answer your question for $1.00, then charge you $51.00 immediately... then $50.00 every month until you find the charge and call them to stop it!

This is criminal and I have contacted the BBB.

For anyone reading this STAY CLEAR of this company!

Christmas Eve day, house full of family, refrigerator not cold. Called site, connected with technician Andy, who called me & walked his step by step how to check possible problems then step by step how to fix refrigerator. We did & it is working perfect, amazing!

The upfront fee was about $35. I added a big tip. The advice was a Dental treatment plan. The Dentist online was quick, to the point, specific, and allowed me to understand options that my local dentists seemed to be obscuring. Once I had the Just Answer advice, I was able t phrase an email question to an old friend, who is a Dentist. He confirmed the Just Answer advice, as well as rejected the path towards which I had been initially pointed.

Just Answer gave me advice that was not only to the point, but with insight and explanation.

The attorney I was matched up with was very helpful and pleasant. I got my answer, was done, logged into my account and cancelled my membership. I've since been charged $46 two more times. I log back in to my membership again (which by the way I don't remember signing up for), and it says it's already a cancelled (from a couple months ago) and this is what shows up in my account:
Your membership has been cancelled.
Do you want to reactivate it?
My husband called BofA and they're rejecting the most recent charge and going to cancel our account and send us new cards.
Looks like from other reviews this is a known problem. I've also posted this review on complaintsboard.com

9.25.23 looking for computer tech support to recover an Outlook calendar. Googled looking for microsoft, clicked through. Got a quick intake from person saying it's $1. Did quick check on reviews once I realized it wasn't Microsoft. First up reviews said it was legit and it was urgent for me so clicked through to pay the $1...Chase (my bank) immediately contacted me about a fraudulent charge for $55 from JustAnswers.com. They obviously have them on their radar and declined the charge, but now I have to go through process to change credit card account number. So in addition to many other fraud claims, mine can get added to the pile; these people should be put out of business. Fortunately for me Chase stopped them.

Beware! There are hidden fees associated with this site. I needed input from an "expert" although I really already had the answer, I just needed verification. It came up showing $25 to get an answer. After all the lengthy documents that nobody has the time to read, the hide in there an additional $5 fee and a $40 monthly membership fee. It is not a one time charge. You are making someone else rich when you could really get the answer online. They are thieves and hide charges! You won't get a simple $25 answer, they will hit you for over $100 before you know it. BEWARE, THEY ARE NOT HONEST!

Criminal site... I intend to report to the Federal Trade Commission. You haven't seen hidden fees until you seen this website.

They will say that they will charge 5$ but they charge you 46$ dollars without letting you know. They claim that to answer the question will cost 46$ and they will automatically detect the money from your account and will put it on an automated subscription. Posting a question will charge you 51 $. Imagine how much will they charge for connecting you. They will close the chat you won't be able to contact them as well.

JustAnswer used to be great website to get answers to questions. However, it's become a nightmare given their misrepresentation and website design. They, by design, misrepresent and channel users/customers into becoming "subscription" customers - customers whom they charge a monthly fee to use the website.

First, although the Terms of Service agreement states a customer can ask "unlimited questions" - that is completely false. A customer is limited to asking just a few questions per month or they are charged a larger monthly subscription fee or terminated.

Second, the website is totally misleading and fraudulent. They are now in violation of state laws concerning medical and legal advice that is given over the website. They try to push "additional services" which is a violation of law in their approach. It's just a matter of time until a state's Attorney General pursues a class action against JustAnswer/eAnswer.

Had first contacted J A on the cheap rate, that did not work. So bought the Deluxe $ 39 service, at first helped a little but then added many unwanted errors to my desktop, When I told them, ran a useless free malwarebytes program, did not do anything, that was last I heard from technician
