“Wrong schematics”

Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.

I was looking for the balance on my Vanilla Gift card and somehow JustAnswer jumped in and charged me $5 plus $55 for the answer. I started with the web site printed on the card. The explanation fo9r their charges were "Pending - JustAnswer - *******C916E1E" ($5.00) and "Pending = JustAnswer - *******F2E310C ($55.00). I have to say they did answer my question about the balance: I started with $100 and now they have $60 of it and I have $40!

PLEASE stay away from JustAnswer! It is a totally unethical company, possibly fraudulent. They prey on people who do not read the fine print and happily charge you $40 or more monthly membership fee until you notice and/or complain. Check out the Better Business Bureau website which includes 100s and 100s of similar complaints about this company. Here is how they rip you off. You try their service just once - they offer an 7 day free trial - but they take your credit card info up front, so after 7 days they automatically start charging you a monthly subscription fee. Unless you carefully review your credit card charges each month you might not notice that you are being charged for a service you didn't even know you had subscribed to. In my case, I was charged $1000 dollars over 2 years - ok, I use my visa card for everything I buy and am not diligent about reviewing the charges at the end of each month. It was only recently that I noticed I had been charged $40 per month over the past 24 months. When I called their customer service they offered to refund only 3 months. This seems to be their business model. Hope that you don't read the fine print and realize that you have a subscription and then charge you until you notice and/or complain. Then if you complain they refund you a month or two even though you may have paid them much more and never even used the service except for the very first time during a free trial. Please don't make the same mistake that I made!

8/25/21 * update* I just cancelled my membership. They are not equipped to deal with all the customer service issues that are occurring. Half the problems you can resolve by yourself if you're just given the access online. This just isn't a good time to be using the service. Even though the people are skilled that provide you help, the customer service is just beyond terrible.

You have a 50% chance of getting a good lawyer who will be able to answer your questions accurately and the same chance of getting a counselor who doesn't cut and paste the same answer they give everybody. There are truly compassionate mental health care providers on this site. Just as there are very knowledgeable lawyers. If you find a good counselor or a lawyer only speak to them. You do that by putting their name at the top of the question. For example "for Jane Doe only." Their customer service has some really bad glitches. They outsource and are working from home so the connection is bad. Not all the customer care representative understand your concerns and the language barrier may be at fault. I am staying subscribed to the site because I am getting the assistance I need. Sometimes it takes three tries, but in the end, I am satisfied.

Tip for consumers:
If you can wait, wait for a similar site to open up that has better customer service.

I messaged and got a call pronto, my tech walked me through resetting my panel on my front load washer which would have taken me an hour to find in my manual to unlock the door and re-set so I could carry on (when I have running water again) so the 25$ was well worth the time i saved and I had bigger fish to fry (the no running water frozen pipes)

My puppy is very badly ill, so the doc. Was so calm and polite with me, and gave me just great advice how to viporize the dog, I would never guess... wish him be our veterinarian, thank u a lot

This would be a no star review if it was possible.
This company operate a SCAM. I searched for a solution for a malfunctioning fire alarm and the manufacturers troubleshooting page contained a link to Just Answer for expert advice. Said this was available for a completely refundable £1 trial fee. Decided to try it and entered card details for the 3 day trial. I got a sort of ok response from an expert. I could probably have found this myself in the time it took though if I'd looked further myself. All ok at that point but 2 days later a fraud alert from my bank to say that Just Answer had tried to debit £30 from me. Thankfully bank saw as suspicious and blocked it but said would have to go through the whole hassle of getting new card unless JA confirmed they'd not try to take money I'd not agreed to pay again! So I tried to get this done but JA just flanneled or sent responses about how I should get my bank to help by authorising the declined payment or something ridiculous. They offered customer service numbers in the USA that I have not tried to call of course. I've since read a host of critical posts from USA based customers with similar and a lot worse experiences than mine. I am now having to cancel my card and wait a week for a new one. What a scam.

This site is a pure scam.
I was supposed to pay a bill just once, however they are taking money monthly out of my credit card.
How can I report them to the autorities?

I hate this wbsite. My mom asked a question about our dogs health and they wanted $15 for an answer. And because she didnt have a credit crd to pay for the answwer, my dog died. So mabey they won't chaarge 15 dollars for a damn answer

I actually tried the service today 8/18/22.1st off never got a chance to create a membership profile or nothing. But the took $1 and $60 within 2hours. If you ask me it's rip off. I asked for my money back and was told to read their policy. So BEWARE BECAUSE ITS NOT WORTH IT AND YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF. RATING ----*******

Beginning of June I signed up with this company for 1 Pound or what I thought was 1 Pound. I then was charged immediately 49 Pounds and when I realised that I got in touch with customer services because I wanted to cancel. The agent was very friendly and said yes no problem, the money would be reimbursed and the membership cancelled. So all good. Then a few weeks later I looked at my credit card statement and saw that I was charged the full amount and never received a reimbursement. I immediately contacted customer services who were extremely unhelpful just telling me, well this is how it is. Allegedly in the transcript of my earlier chat there was no information that I would get reiumbursed. Despite not having used their services once because I thought it was cancelled they refused to pay me the money back. I can only warn anybody to use them. They lure you onto their website with the 1 Pound offer, you put your credit card details in and then they take 1 Pound and a month membership fee. Disgusting!

I felt misled. No connection to a vet as your virtual assistant promised. Told I would be charged $1, but was charged $30 for a membership I never asked for. Took advantage of a dog mom who was worried about her fur baby. When I initially asked for a refund I was told I was ineligible. I had to go to PayPal to demand my refund. I resent the extra steps you made me do and that I had to take it to that point. I haven't demanded a refund on principles more than 2 times in 15 years with PayPal. I got my refund but only because I got angry. I never got an answer as I was promised or connected to a vet. How dare you prey on people under duress. After seeing your reviews, you should change your payment model. I saw after the fact how many others were dissatisfied with your website. I regret ever asking my question. I will continue to warn others of your predatory practices and hope you get shut down. $30 may not be a lot to some, but this was more about the principles. I politely explained I was told I would be charged $1 to be bait and switched to $30 and placed on a membership I never requested!

Warning: Predatory practices when answering questions. Be extremely cautious about requesting help from this site. It's a monthly membership service that you are not warned about prior to use. It is not a one time only question/payment/answer. Lack of transparency when speaking with their bot. Review reviews prior to asking anything with this site.

I used the service 1 time in Oct 21. Canceled immediately and still was billed for two months. Customer service stated they never received the cancellation request which is bull crap! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE CROOKS!

I am not a proficient computer person and the giving my credit card number to an unknown site made me real nervous. The process of paying was, to me, a little confusing and I think I paid an extra 5$. However, I asked my question, got my answer and saved over $100 in repair charges for my oven. THIS SITE IS WONDERFUL.

I received a quick response to my question about a medical issue I am having. For $5 I got more help from a doctor on here than I have at my actual doctor, but with this information I received I now have a list of things that need to be tested for to take with me to my next appointment. Since it came from an OB/GYN, I am hoping that my doctor will stop acting like I am making things up.
The only negatives I found was the assistant did not bother to read what I was telling her at one point, which seemed irresponsible considering it was a description of the problem that she tried to gloss over and change to something completely different. I also may have missed it, but I didn't see anywhere about how much it would cost to "speak" to a professional until it came time to pay up. While $5.00 is a bargain, I think this should be placed somewhere in a clear, up front, position on the site. (Again, if it is, and I didn't see it because of coming in through a Google search, or other fault of my own, I apologize).

They don't explain that asking them even 1 question AUTOMATICALLY enters you into a recurring $69 monthly bill contract with them...
Then if you try to dispute it, someone in India will tell you that even though you had no idea about the recurring membership, it's nonrefundable. Stay away from JustAnswer!

I received a call telling me that the person was a representative of Amazon and that I was going to be charged $77.99 on my account since it had been hacked. They wanted me to open my computer and just follow the instructions on the screen - DO NOT CALL AMAZON - just go through the instructions. The person spoke with a Middle East accent and asked me if I had relatives in Nigeria. I hung up and called Amazon and got Michael T as my expert and he was great, told me it was a scam and really went above and beyond what he needed to.

I asking me a series of questions about my issue they asked me for a $5 refundable payment "if I was happy with my answer". The minute I paid, a technician came on and hit me up for $24.95 to talk to me on the phone! When I said no and wanted my $5 back, for the first time they went completely silent. NO RESPONSE. And when I looked to get my $5 back I couldn't find a way to do it! THIS IS BULL$#*!!
