“Wrong schematics”

Trying to find a wiring diagram for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Was sent nice colored schematics, which turned out to be incorrect. In all fairness, the Ford dealership didn't have the right schematics either. Nothing seem to match the vehicle. We identified the proper wire by using the pin that it was attached to rather than the color of the wires, which were not correct by either person.

I have used this service several times before but this time was different. They say theses a 30 day money back guarantee as they want their customers happy. Well I was unsatisfied with the response I received so I requested a refund after being charged before even rating the answer I received. They charged my account on 2/15 and then refunded me on 2/21. All was fine until the 23rd when I was balancing my account and noticed they charged my account yet again! I contacted customer service about it who escalated the issue and later received an email from a supposed Senior Customer Support Rep named Maureen who suggested several times even after a screenshot was sent to her clearly showing the mishap that I was "seeing the credit being credited back to my account". Now I believe I know my account and that amounts with a + are deposits to credits and amounts in red with a - are debits/withdraws. The amount on the 15th and the 23rd were both red and with a -. It's now been five days since I last got a rediculous response from Maureen and am taking this up with my bank and whomever else I can.

I used this service to speak to someone regarding a work related issue. The overall answers I received were basic, nothing too detailed or helpful which was a bit disappointing so I didn't want the service. During the 7 day trial, I was charged the $5 but when I tried to cancel online, the link wasn't working! It was impossible to cancel my membership online so I had to call customer service! I was put on hold for over 20mins and no one was available! I had to call again to get someone on the other line to finally cancel! I was told my membership was canceled and then a month later, I was charged the full $46! I had to go through the whole process again to get it canceled! The representative stated they were unable to process a refund but canceled again! Apparently, this is an on going issue with this Just Answer service and A LOT of people have the same problem better! I better not get charged again! Their customer service is horrible and honestly, the service itself is NOT worth it! I would NOT recommend to anyone!

Tip for consumers:
I'd suggest that it's not worth it even to try but IF you do, cancel immediately afterwards within the 7 day trial and make sure to get a confirmation email so you don't continue to get charged!!

PLEASE DON'T GIVE THEM $$ ABSOLUTE SCAM! I WAS SO SICK WHEN I SIGNED UP I WASN'T THINKING PROPERLY. As soon as you ask a question you get a message stating you will be charged a $2.00AU refundable join fee and as soon as you enter your payment details they charge you the $2 join fee plus $66 membership fee. I cancelled my membership immediately and they have refused to refund the $66. They tell you it was on the page before you enter your payment details, NOT TRUE! I COULD NOT EVEN REPLY TO THE SMS THEY SENT ME!

If you are looking to sign up for a $30-$80 service to answer any question you might have, using a wide range of experts, I'm sure this is a four star company.

However, they lure you in with a $1 trial that doesn't exist. As soon as you ask a question, you are charged a monthly fee, and then you are charged the $1.

Like many who have posted negative reviews of this company, I was stressed out. I had a sick cat, and was looking up information. Because they pay Google to be a top choice, their $1 offer was the first one. I clicked on it, agreed to pay the $1 charge, and asked my question.

Within five minutes, I had a notification that my bank had been charged $30 for their service. What I did not have was an answer to my quesiton. It was an hour and a half before the very kind and knowledgable veterenarian contacted me in response to my question. Her advice matched the information that I'd researched during the hour and a half wait time. Was it worth $1? Certainly. $30? Not at all.

I asked for a refund and cancellation of my account, and was told that I would not be charged again for their service, but given that the first thing they did was lie about $1 trial period, I have no faith they will do the right thing. So I've posted to the Better Business Bureau, and again here, in hopes they will refund the money they grifted from me.

Tip for consumers:
Don't fall for the $1 offer. It's a scam. You will immediately be charged $30-$80 for asking a single question.

Four (4) hours ago I contacted this service to answer a simple question - i. E., how to turn off the block of my tel# on Google Voice.

Not only did I NOT get an answer from the supposed "expert", the "expert" and this "service" was attempting to scam me into paying more than $5.

ALSO, upon calling back to speak to a supervisor for help, I have had no answer in the last three hours. Indeed, upon calling once again after 4 hours and receiving the same clerk telling me that the supervisor has been "too busy" for the last two hours to call me - he has the audacity to tell me the supervisor will get back to me in the next 24 hours - even tho' it is only 7:51PM Pacific Time now.

This site is deliberately misleading in its advertising and billing, and provides no real service.

I have alerted my credit card company to this false billing and will reject any charge.

I will also report this incident to the Better Business Bureau and will file "BEWARE - DO NOT TOUCH JUSTANSWER.com" on any review sites I can find.

Shame on JustAnswer for this manipulation, dishonesty and total lack of service.

I have come to realize that a call I made on 1/29/21 turned into a monthly charge of $34 beginning in February of 2021 until this past month of November 2022 by "JustMechanic".

I called "JustMechanic" aka "JustAnswer" on Saturday, 12/3/22 when I became aware that this has been charging to our account every month $34 since February 2021. I made a call on 1/29/21 and was charged $5 at the time and then the $34 charges started coming.

On 12/3/22 I was informed by JustAnswer that I had a "membership" and they would need to cancel it and they could only refund me 3 months worth of charges. On Monday, 12/5/22, I called our credit card company, Chase, to dispute the charges and have them fight for us. Because of timing, Chase will only fight for charges from August 2022 to now.

JustAnswer is not using straightforward business practices. JustAnswer/Mechanic never provided any written documentation about charges until this past Saturday, 12/3/22. If they are going to make monthly charges they should be required to share that the credit card is about the be "charged". There is nothing from them and I have the ability to search in my email account key words with years of data and information and there is NOTHING from them until the day I called to CANCEL something I had NO IDEA I was subscribed to. This is wrong on so many levels and takes advantage of people. Please help me to get credit for the additional 19 times we were fraudulently charged on our credit card. Please help me to tell my story so others are not taken advantage of as well. Where can I post all the ZERO stars.
