The tech's knowledge was solid and advice was what i expected. I have an old receiver that failed to power up. After more than 30 years of reliable service he told me the time had come to probably get a new one. With few shops available anymore, unless it is a very high end unit, the cost of repair and inconvenience outweigh the purchase of a replacement.
This business is a scam. They advertise a small $2 charge for answers but discretely sign you up for an outrageous monthly subscription fee without being upfront about it. It's hidden in the fine print and is slimey and a scam. Avoid at all costs!

I just filed a Better Business Bureau complaint again your company. I called for a $5 answer on april. 15th. I was charged and additional $30 in april for wwhich I never got a receipt. I only found out by checking my credit card. I signed in to cancel then and thought I had succeeded but checking my credit account today I saw another $30 charge for which I again did not receive a receipt to tell me I was still beingcharged. I know for certain that i have now canceled, but I want a refund for the may charges. This is a rip-off
Believe it or not just answered dot com actually gave me a refund for april and may so this issue is resolved

Other reviews are obviously mostly fake. I explained exactly what I was looking for in detail. I received an (allegedly) attorney who knew nothing and recommended I get an attorney. The total call was about 2 minutes for $65. Don't waste your money.

Your technician Nick B. Worked tirelessly with me for about an hour guiding me to link my printer so it would allow me to scan to email, which he anticipated would be a simple matter. We were challenged by a number of unexpected roadblocks which Nick was able to solve, while maintaining a cheerful, patient attitude, however the final roadblock was discovered to be a problem with my Macbook Pro. I was then out of time, so Nick emailed me a link to instructions for completing the printer hookup for me to use when I get my Macbook working right and also urged me to contact JustAnswer If I needed more help.
