Thank goodness I did not follow the negative reviews on here. Ordered a 7200. 00 True freezer for my restaurant. Shipped fast within one day and arrived across the country in perfect condition. Zero issues. Nice job Katom. My experience was great.
Purchased a brand new three thousand dollar Motak pizza prep fridge from katom. 13 days after delivery it required its first service through warranty. Now 35 days in, the fridge has identified as a slow cooker hitting over 100 degrees. Katom nor Motak accept blame and have me stuck with a broken fridge I cannot return. If I wanted a broken fridge I would had purchased a used one.
This company absolutely sucks. The freight specialist said the dent in the fridge wouldn't affect the use of it and only offered credit for it. And he was trying to close the case if I didn't answer fast enough on email even though he didn't email me back for days at one point. And the website drops the price of the item you buy and the company won't even do price adjustments and the freight specialist told me he didn't know what price drop I was talking about and did nothing to help me with it. And he doesn't even email that professionally. Such a negative experience with this company. Every step of the process just sucked. I would not buy through this company ever again.

Ordered an ice maker with an estimated delivery at 7-10 days, showed up damaged in freight. After countless emails, and attempts to talk with someone (no one in charge will accept phone calls), I was ignored for days at a time only to find out it would need to be shipped back to the maufacturer, not Katom, and would not be able to get a refund until the manufacturer sent an Ok for credit. It took 60 days to get the refund, while I wait without an ice maker. It is an easy decision to never order from them again.

I wish I read these reviews before ordering my item from Ka Tom. I ordered 4 universal Tiki lamp clamps. The shipped items were not as ordered. Their delayed replies kept me from using my Tiki lamps as planned. And even then, they wanted me to send a picture of the clamps to verify my complaints before they can instruct me on the return procedures. Needless to say, I discontinued all communications with Ka Tom, and absorbed the loss.
I ordered a $400 utensil sterilizer to store service spoons and spatulas between service and they sent me a cereal dispenser. The shipping dept argued with the sales person and refused to believe that they made a mistake.
I sent countless pics of the box, shipping label and wrong product and it's been ore than 3 weeks and I still don't have a resolution or my part.

I ordered a trash can in May and it is August and I am still trying to get the correct lid. Sarah Huffaker in returns is very unprofessional and doesn't respond to emails. I have spoken with charles, Leslie and Rachel and they all said something different and never did what they promised. Jamie in Returns has been the best so far. I finally received my RA so I can return the lid. Jamie looked up my account and said, 'What is she waiting on?" she said, I don't know, but you will have the RA in 5-10 minutes and I had it as she promised. Thanks Jamie you are the Best! I will never order from KaTom again and I will advise my family, friends and co-workers not to order! I ordered the correct lid from Amazon with no problems! I want my refund! This company needs to go out of business ASAP!
I saw Ads at online and ordered 10 boxes disposable globe ($30.00 & $10.28 s&p) they shipped 1 box and 9 box will ship in 2-3 weeks but 4 weeks later they canceled my order

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They sell defective products and then when you try and get it replaced under warranty they charge you shipping all over again. The customer service representatives are some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I asked to speak with a manager and she was even more rude. They refused to cover the shipping and handling for the replacement and when I asked if losing a customer was worth a shipping and handling refund she said she didn't care. I will never order from this company again. Oh and my soup kettle broke after 1 week. They have horrible products on top of everything else.
I ordered restaurant equipment in July & payed in full. Still did not receive my cheesemelter in November & decided to cancel this order. I have been fighting for my $2900 to be refunded for the last 4 months. Bought 20,000 in equipment I wish I would have given my business to another company who takes care of their customers. Never again!
I wanted to return a few items the day after they were received. They told me that this was a special order so no return. There was nothing special about the order. No clearance or anything like that. I was going to buy a bunch of other stuff, but I'm not going to do business with crooks.

I have been trying to get a refund on 2 waffle irons for over a month. The irons were out-of-box failures, and are under a 12 month warranty. Mindy has been unresponsive after initially saying she would have a returns person get in touch with me. Repeated calls to their main line - I get a person who quickly transfers me to a "supervisor", who never picks up - 1st time I called, 11 minutes and 17 seconds on hold - no response. 2nd call - 15 minutes, no response. STILL waiting to speak to anyone who will help. I will never do business with them again.
I ordered an item that was listed on the web site as "In Stock". When I did not get a shipping confirmation I called a week later and was informed the item was not in stock and would not ship for another 6-weeks. I as'ed why I was not contacted and was not provided an answer. After 6-weeks the item still did not ship and I again contacted Katom and was told it would be another 8-weeks. I ordered an caramel cooker a month ago. My credit card was promptly charged and a month later their is no cooker, no response for customer service and no response to my request for a refund. Following this review I will be placing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Buyer Beware.
I ordered a pullman loaf pan with cover and the picture on my order confirmation showed a picture with the lid
However after paying USD 10.50 for shipping the loaf pan arrived without the lid
When I called the company they tell me that the website states in fine print that the picture may not match the actual product!
Also they would not reimburse the shipping and I was aksed to pay for the return shipping as well -This is misrepresentation to the point of fraud!

Website advertised a griddle with base action station. My company ordered two and paid in advance. They did not place the order. When I called to check on order week later they acted like they never heard of us. They finally said yes they had our check and placed the order. When order came they set the griddles with no bases. When I called again and spoke with Charles he said they had a mistake on the web site and they bases would be extra. I gave them a chance to make this right and they simply do not care about the customers. Read all the reviews on the web, you'll see! I will never do business here. We are a Hilton Hotel.
The worst in the business. I ordered a Watts water filter from them. It didn't arrive for 10 days, so I called. The lady on the phone rather snotty, said it was a 3 week lead time... It arrived, from the manufacturer after 3 weeks. Wrong item. KaTom only offered to "contact the manufacturer" on my behalf. Long story short, it's been over 7 weeks since I ordered from them. They won't refund my money, they won't return my emails or calls. They say that since I ordered through them, I can't even talk to the mfg myself, as it is on "their" account. Bottom line... they have literally refused to do anything for me. They have stated: "when we hear from Watts, we will contact you." They have done nothing, and they won't refund my money. Their phone person puts you through to a vm, that takes your info and says they will call you back... They NEVER call you back.
If I could give them a negative 5 I would. I Ordered a freezer and was sent a refrigerator. I should have checked the invoice before I opened up the cooler. When I opened it up I realized it was a cooler not a freezer. Tried to send It back. They said once you open it up you can not send it back. That is Katom's policy. Now I am stuck with a cooler I do not need.

KaTom abruptly canceled the majority of items in my order, then charged me $38 shipping to ship the remaining $17 worth of items. They did not give an opportunity to cancel my order, and they haven't refunded the excess shipping charges for unshipped items. I won't do business with them again.
This company has very poor customer service as well as several inefficiencies when meeting customer demands. I will suggest boycotting this company especially if there's need of urgent feedback or promp delivery.

The employees are given so much work to do, it is simply is impossible to give Triple AAA customer service and still complete every single PETTY task given to them. Errors are frequent due to turnover of new employers unable to be able to function under such a stress load without proper training. Good employess that would be valuable to customer service leave due to being overwhelmed and taking the blame for circumstances beyond their control. This leads to your inablity to get your product in a timely manner, being notified, proper delivery, and simply being about to call and talk to a person who has the ability to help you.
