Thank goodness I did not follow the negative reviews on here. Ordered a 7200. 00 True freezer for my restaurant. Shipped fast within one day and arrived across the country in perfect condition. Zero issues. Nice job Katom. My experience was great.
Purchased a brand new three thousand dollar Motak pizza prep fridge from katom. 13 days after delivery it required its first service through warranty. Now 35 days in, the fridge has identified as a slow cooker hitting over 100 degrees. Katom nor Motak accept blame and have me stuck with a broken fridge I cannot return. If I wanted a broken fridge I would had purchased a used one.
I purchased 8 Oz Bouillon cup and plates and 16 OZ bowls and on the 8 OZ cups and the plates it supposed to be 96 per case but after i received them they were only 48 per case and that was making huge difference on the price, like i could buy the cups $0.90 each here at the store and $0.80 on other websites and i was getting charge $1.32 without shipping fee. Same for the plates and other bowls.
Read the fine print of the fine print. Shelving arrived damaged, they want you to completely unpack the item while the driver is standing there and inspect the item, otherwise you won't get your money back except maybe 1/3 of it from the delivery company, and you don't get your shipping fee returned either.
I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from this company. I ordered an item and didn't like the color so I ordered the color I needed. I have to pay a restocking fee that is ridiculously high and also had to pay the charges to return the item.
Who does this in todays world - Never again If 0 was a rating that is what I would have chosen

Ordered a simple faucet aerator. It came in the wrong color. They want to charge me a restocking fee and have me pay for shipping to return it. They claim it's not their fault since it is a manufacturer error even though I bought it through Katom and not the mfg.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KATOM. I ordered and received a Waring Vacuum Sealer. The unit was well packaged and there was no damage in shipping. It was completely defective and does not work (seals are bad). Waring has discontinued production or this unit due to manufacturing/part problems. I guess Katom sells what is in stock anyway. Katom said they require a $25 restocking fee and that I pay the postage (on a $60 unit) and they would ‘consider' refunding the remaining balance!.

We all order products over the internet - and most of the time we are satisfied. We do, also, run into companies the are disreputable. Site like these are indispensable for spreading the word. Use it!

I've placed an order for supplies at beginning of June 2022 and still haven't received anything yet. I've called and talked to Katelynn and Barbara Ext. 3147 several times and they promised to call back but never did. Barbara promised to either call back or email me back for solution but never did. Katom is a dishonest company to do business with because they allowed their employees to scam others for money by pretending to be a supplier but in reality it's just a big SCAMMER.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a coffee maker. We used it and it did not do what it said it would. When we called to return it, we were told since we used it, they could not take it back. Asked if we didn't use it, how do we know it was broken? They said they don't sell used items. No where on my slip was there anything pertaining to the return policy. They did not disclose their return policy or make it clear to the purchaser. They push everything back to the manufacturer. So in other words, if you buy something and it does not work, you never should have opened it and they won't refund you.
Ordered a dozen dishes, 2 arrived damaged, Katom said not our fault, it is the factory>
Asked for pics so they file claim with UPS and got the money but never ship my replacement.
Ihave to go to my credit card to slap them with chargeback, it has been 2 months now.

They say products available, then bait-and-switch, as your items are suddenly not in stock. Always the same ONE PERSON who replies to live chat. "Caleb". Pay $40 for item, more than $20 for shipping, and two weeks later, still no items. With each live chat, they said "Should be in stock late this week or next week, and item will ship at that time". Well, item never came. On 3rd week, still nothing (item was in stock when I ordered it!), decided this whole thing wasn't worth the aggravation, unacceptable waiting for something that was supposed to have been available from the start, and general [excuse the term] $#*!ing around with customers. Order was cancelled by me, and I was guaranteed a refund of item/shipping costs. Still haven't received that refund, either. So, long story short (too late?! LOL), the place is run by cons and thieves. DO NOT ORDER/BUY from them.
Absolutely awful. After placing an order online with clear instructions to contact me if my order, placed on a Monday morning, wasn't going to be shipped that day, they waited until Wednesday afternoon to inform me that the items I ordered were not in stock and would not ship for 10-14 days. This was time sensitive and I needed to know for my clients sake. Upon voicing my frustrations with customer service, and explaining that I would now have to order from somewhere else and use 2nd day air which cost me $170.00, they could have cared less. They offered no type of compensation through three ranks of command. Hideous way to run a business. If I drop the ball with my customers, I make it up to them and own my mistake.
I then contacted Websteraunt who was able to get my order out, 2nd day air after placing my order at 1:45 on Wednesday afternoon.

Shane Snowdin was my support person. He was very professional and extremely helpful. We are a church with a limited budget but constant need as you would expect in a non profit scenario.
Shane was able to help us be comfortable that the product really was available and could ship in time for an upcoming event.

Do not use this company! My 3000 dollar Prep table had concealed damage below one of the doors which I did not detect when first arrived (until I tried to open the door a couple of days later) and they declined my claim and left me with mangled metal on a brand new unit even though I reported within the 5 days allowed for concealed damage. I'm 51 years old and I've been in business for 27 years and the so called customer service reresentative had the audasity to accuse me of altering the receipt after driver had left when I insisted she does something about the damage!
Very courtious when you are giving them your money, very rude and ignorant when problems arise. Do not trust them, don't let them do to you what they did to me! Very dishonest people...
My True fridge was giving me a bit of trouble. JamieLeigh assured me that True was a reputable company and they would back the unit. She made me less worried. They came out on Tuesday and the unit was fixed. Simple and quick. Thank you JamieLeigh for making me feel less tension. Thank you True for being a stand up company as well.
Even though the reviews scared me about the return and calling back process I was already getting myself worked up on the call I was about to make. Luckily for me I got Sarah and she was a wonderful help and I hope to make future purchases from them again.
Placed an order with a 4-8 day timeframe, KaTom said it takes 3 weeks before shipping the order. Yes, you read that right 3 weeks. The rep on the phone says that's standard procedure.

I ordered a product which was never shipped. After 10 days I was only told it was on an backorder, thats only after calling and emailing. Than Katom extended the backorder another 30 days. This company is not reliable and very much illegitimate. They list many products on their website that they do not physically carry and therefore you are at the whim of their customer service. If you call too often they transfer you to a voicemail system and stop answering with a human. I was forced to dispute the charge. Not a good company to deal with. Stay away and fine the product at a honest and legitimate company. Such a sham.
Charged my card for an item they didn't have, tied up my card and lost my commercial account with my customer. I'd rate them a zero out of ten if it'd let me. Took them 2 weeks and me to call them for them to tell me they canceled my order even! Not a happy customer!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. The customer service is absolutely atrocious, they caused a problem with my order that would result in me having to pay unnecessary fees that they refused to waive. I cancelled the order and will absolutely never be a customer of theirs in the future.
Katom restaruant supply shipped me a warped piece of equipment (slaw cutter $671.00) which they didn't want to replace... so they fixed the problem and shipped it back to me and then double billed me on my credit card.
Order dryfood dispencer, when i received the product it was a fudge warmer. I called company they told me it will be 24-48 hours before someone will contact you. In the mean time i need this product. Never again
We ordered a commercial can opener. Almost 2 weeks later we heard nothing. We had to reach out to them. They said it would ship in a week. It didnt. Again no communication. We had to reach out again and was told another 2 weeks. They are selling product they dont have! Very poor customer service and communication.
1) Place an order for 24 items
2) get delivered 6 items
3) Call sales rep; the other 18 are out of stock and on backorder
4) sales rep finds replacement items and offers to swap out
5) wait for days, no words, no items, nothing
6) call the sales rep;. On KaTom's website they accept Amazon Pay (great) but KaTom can't modify their order with this Payment Type (a warning would have been nice)
7) sales rep; cancels the order and creates a new order for replacement items plus Shipping Cost again
8) manager refuses to waive the shipping cost...
I am a negative net promotor... Their website doesn't know their inventory stock, their payment process type is compatible with their business process, and they expect the customer to pay for their mistake costing us Time and Money.
Really bad first experience. Never again...

Don't use KaTom if there is any change you will need to return or replace any item
I've order 3 times through them only because I was in no hurry for my items. But they apparently never have any item in with them. You have to wait atleast 2 weeks for them to receive the item and another week for them to deliver. If you can wait about a month for your item then go for it but other than that I wouldn't recommend it.
I purchased a Ice Machine. A MoTak Lunar-150 from KaTom $1,699.00. If your a Residential Shopper KaTom isn`t for you. I found out KaTom a third-party seller doesn`t require the equipment they sale to have warranties for their residential customers.
