Thank goodness I did not follow the negative reviews on here. Ordered a 7200. 00 True freezer for my restaurant. Shipped fast within one day and arrived across the country in perfect condition. Zero issues. Nice job Katom. My experience was great.
Purchased a brand new three thousand dollar Motak pizza prep fridge from katom. 13 days after delivery it required its first service through warranty. Now 35 days in, the fridge has identified as a slow cooker hitting over 100 degrees. Katom nor Motak accept blame and have me stuck with a broken fridge I cannot return. If I wanted a broken fridge I would had purchased a used one.

I placed an order for a simple 54inch two door refrigerator. The site stated 2 in stock and will ship within 3 business days. Three months later and still no ship date in site. After 6 Months shipment was shipped, Truck never showed up. Three months after that they shipped another one. The second one was damaged. I had it and told them I need my refund. It has been 6 months and still no refund. These people are not trust worthy.

I ordered a reach in freezer and fridge. Mentioned on the order it will take 6-8 weeks to deliver (which was perfect for my situation). I entered shipping address on order, and paid through PayPal. Once I approved PayPal my order was complete. Somehow my PayPal switched delivery addresses. I received confirmation email seconds after approval and noticed it was the wrong address. I tried to contact them through chat (creating a ticket) and email to change the address. (It was after hours) I assumed they would read the chat and or email and switch addresses. I get an email not even 24 hours after my order was placed that the freezer has shipped to the WRONG ADDRESS! I immediately called and they told me they would cancel my order and have the delivery returned. I finally get a refund 3 weeks afterwards and they took almost $300 for delivery and restocking. I called again informing them I was not told by anyone about these fees. I submitted proof of my attempt to contact them and multiple emails/phone calls and almost 5 weeks later-nothing.

I ORDERED FOCUS FOOD PRODUCTS... THROUGH KATOM. PAID 4 MONTHS BACK AND AFTER GETTING PAYMENT SAID ITEM NOT IN STOCK AND SINCE 4 MONTHS PASSING STILL SAYING SAME. I THINK BOTH KATOM AND FOCUS FOOD IS A BOGUS ENTITY... GOING TO TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH ICC.
Definitely won't do business with Katom again! Ordered an attachment for my wife's Kitchenaid mixer as a Christmas present. (1) The delivery went ok, but they unnecessarily printed very clearly on the shipping label what the contents were. So when my wife received the package - 2 weeks before Christmas - she knew immediately what she was getting. (2) When my wife opened it on Christmas, she decided this was not what she had in mind. No problem; will send it back, I said. Called Katom, got a shipping authorization number, and sent it back. They never sent confirmation of having received it, so finally I called, and they told me they had already issued a credit - for 75% of what I had paid! They said that they have a policy - never mentioned to me until then - that there is a 25% "restocking fee" on all orders over $100! Imagine! It theoretically cost them $36.24 to return this item to inventory - which is bogus. If it had been a $500 item, they would have charged $125 to "restock" the item. How in the name of sense does it cost more to restock one item over another? Stupid policy, major ripoff! Their "restocking fee" must be pretty close to their profit margin! Now they'll turn around and make another profit off the same item! Steer clear of these folks, for sure! Definitely pays to read the reviews; theirs are not good - but I didn't take the time to read them beforehand. Caveat emptor!
Our unit was promised for a Wed. Delivery, it came a day late, in all farness to this company: Ka tom- (after the fact I read previous reviews after it did not arrive) our True T-49 2 Door Commercial refrigerator came packaged well and upon unboxing, in pristine condition.
We saved and it came from we believe Tennessee where the vendor is located all the way to Upstate New York to our Juvenile Facility.
This company is literally a scam, I've been waiting for my refund since JULY and they keep telling me that they're behind and are unable to credit me. The manager is extremely unhelpful and says that there is nothing she can do and it's out of her hands. How can it be out of her hands if it's her department? DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ONLINE FROM HERE BECAUSE IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY. Literally should be shut down.

Yeah my review is that I've ordered an item for over three weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it and Now I've just received a email from yesterday telling me that it was on back order and I Never knew it until yesterday. And however I was told by a customer support telling me that I won't be able to get the item that I've paid money for until January the 23rd of 2023 how the Hell did this happened? Well it doesn't really matter Now because I'm going to demand my money back and who knows when I get a refund it could be six months from now or probably Never so anyway katom is the worst place to buy equipment especially what I need it for and this is the worst store on this planet today and the customer support sucks and No one knows exactly what they are doing so this website is totally despicable and it's a total waste of time and money and it's garbage and I would never ever do business again with them again.

I have ordered a REVERSIBLE table top, paid and waited for it... When didn't receive it call Katom and they said the reason for not shipping it was they didn't know what color I wanted, Mahogany or Oak - HELLO! It is reversible - Mahogany one side and Oak on the other side.

I purchased a commercial oven, plus a set of casters and other accessories, from Katom. They shipped the casters and other items immediately but told me there was a short delay with the oven. I had to continuously call them for updates regarding the ETA of the oven, because they would never provide updates. This went on for 1 YEAR, before they finally said they will never have the oven. So they suggested an alternative model which I settled for because I couldn't wait any longer. At that time they also assured me that the casters I originally bought would work with this new model. I was not actually able to install the casters for a few months after receiving the new oven, but turns out they did NOT fit this model. Customer service refused to exchange them for the right casters because it had been over 30 days. I wasn't even trying to return them, just exchange for another set that was the same cost. And they were unused in original packaging. So in the end, they lost a customer and thousands of dollars of future sales because they refused an exchange of $100 casters. As a business owner, I can't even imagine their reasoning and poor decision making.
James Lowery did everything in his power to help me out. I was trying to get the tax taken off my invoice and he made several attempts to email me the tax form.
Be careful using this company, their web site lists equipment that "typically ships in 3-5 days" than after they get your money they tell you it will ship in 6 weeks, THEN when you cancel your order, they wait FOREVER to refund it. I cancelled a $1,598 order on April 27th, and today (May 20th) I have STILL NOT received a refund!
Purchased two water dispensers for an event. I accidentally gave the wrong address by switching two numbers. However, they never contacted me to alert me that this was returned to them until a few days before my event. Not only did they not alert me but they gave my order to someone else, charged me a restocking fee and when I tried to reorder these because these were the specific ones our client wanted... they were on backorder. So now, I was charged a restocking fee, didn't get the product we wanted and had to pay for expedited shipping to get a alternate choice replacement set shipped in time for the event. Calling in for anything OTHER than a new order which they take your call right away then, but for any issues etc, you are on hold forever! There is only ONE PERSON in the entire place who actually is an asset to that company and knows what he is doing and his name is Eric! Ask for him! That is the only reliable help you will get.
Will never do business with them again. If they do not refund my restocking fee, I will contact the BBB.
Do not purchase from this company. Packages get lost, items needed not delivered. Had to make four phone calls to the service department. Difficult if not impossible to get your refund back.
I'm an avid online shopper and thought when I saw the dishes that I have been searching for where being sold on this site, I just ordered them... MISTAKE! They blame the manufacturer and the manufacturer doesn't respond so I'm out of luck getting my $132 back! These dishes weren't the quality I came to expect from Syracuse China and they wouldn't take them back! They SUCK! Wanted to charge me for shipping them back AND a 25% RESTOCKING FEE! The worst service ever, I bought commercial Manitowoc ice maker total of $5,127.80 paid in full on 12/31/2022 I supposed to get it delivered within 4-5 weeks never happened I called them they told me it should be delivered on 2/20/2023.on 2//13/2023 I called to make sure about the delivery date they said no it well take may be another 2 months. They offered me another non brand ice maker which I don't like those. I have the same exact experience about one and a half years ago when I bought an open sandwich cooler end up buying another new cooler have a lot of problems' and cost me more money. I NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, I DONT RECMEND THEM TO ANY BODY.

I was tod I should get my fridge between 5 and 5 days no going on third week I b been calling to check where's my fridge and they been telling me it's on the way, I checked back with the tracking number it it shows that it's in California, I called the customer service and I told them about it, the lady on the phone she said you will get it soon, it was just a simple mistake, I asked her when can I expect my fridge to arrive, her response was when you get it, I said in that case I like to cancel my order and she replied that I. Called to get assistance from customer service to order drinking dispensers, customer service rep told me what I was looking at was the correct item to purchase. Went on website and ordered it, they sent me a partial order! Called to ask for the rest of my items they HEATHER (the manager) told me I don't get the other parts because I didn't order them! I ordered what the representative told me to order according to I needed! Told them I don't need the item because I refuse to buy piece by piece and wanted to send back. THEY Want To CHARGER ME A RESTOCKING FEE PLUS Shipping AND Handling FEES again!... This company is so unprofessional! Do not deal with them!
Head warnings. Small company with small minded customer service. I paid $10.50 for replacement spice bottles, with $8.60 for shipping. Ridiculous. The billing zip code was used for the shipping zip code, not sure who's fault it was, but I called immediately when I got the email confirmation, and they couldn't change it. UPS wants at LEAST $12 dollars to change the zip code. To UPSs credit, they said I could call on the day the shipment is supposed to arrive and try to get it corrected then. The discussions I had on the phone with KaTom, as well as the emails I recieved, are consistent with what others have said. They really expect me to shell out additional costs to get my order. I could just buy a new spice rack for that much. I had no idea I was dealing with such a small time, incompetent business. I didn't search for reviews, I was redirected to them from another website. Don't believe the "25 years of excellence" - those people must be long gone that provided that caliber of service, because they certainly are not there now. A big headache for a small order. Will never order from them again, or recommend, even to my worst enemy.
I won't recommend to buy any thing from kaTom worst customer Service ever bought an electric stove and the discription said it fits in to any 3 way outlet when I received it I didn't so I called for an exchange the day I received it not for a return but I was told they can't they would have to do a return that would be a 25% restocking fee then I can buy the new stove what a rip off
