Nowadays, it's getting harder and harder to receive great service and technical support from businesses you have dealings with. But not with KeyCafe!
Even if their headquarters are far away from us, they are always available to help us with any inquiry we might have. There is always someone at the other end of the line to answer the phone in real-time and to assist us without any wait. That is one of the many things we greatly appreciate about KeyCafe and their employees. As a used car dealership, we have over 150 stocks in our inventory. Keys need to be organized and quickly accessible. When a major shutdown with our power and internet occured, Keycafe was there to help us troubleshoot our boxes and evaluate the problem. After diagnosis, they sent us a brand new motherboard that arrived quickly after only 2 business days. We are truly happy of the service we have received once again! Thanks to the team and Special Thanks to Hatim who was patient and professional over the phone in the whole troubleshooting process. Good job Guys!

Avoid
We have several FLEET Vehicles which are shared amongst employees. To help keep better accountability we got the Keycafe System. This has been night and day difference in our key management capabilities. People are able to see who is driving their vehicle as they are coming into work instead of spending the first part of their shift trying to track down their keys.
To my own fault, I plugged an ethernet cable into the wrong spot. Keycafe's team was extremely flexible in getting things resolved and very responsive. They also worked well with our IT department to work on getting everything through the firewall. My only semi-complaint would be that this was not a super quick process. Ultimately they resolved all of the issues and sent replacement parts for what needed to be replaced.
As another bonus, Keycafe has added several new features since we have gotten the box. We are now able to assign employee numbers instead of them having to use their phone numbers. We are also able to get users set up to check out keys that do not want to download the app on their phones.
I highly recommend Keycafe and want to say thank you for the excellent customer service follow through in ensuring our system was up and running! They have added additional features that weren't available when we first got our system and I look forward to seeing them advance their systems in the future.

The concept of Keycafe is wonderful, but the execution is... truly, truly awful... I went to one of their locations to drop off my keys, then a bin opened up and there was someone else's key in it! I called customer service and they blamed it on user errors, saying that Keycafe did nothing wrong and this 'rarely happens'. Then a week later, they lost my keys. And I've only been using the service for two months! Again, they shamelessly blamed it on 'user errors' and the fact that my guest didn't call them for help and dropped off the keys twice. What kind of guest would want to wait 10 minutes on the phone just to drop off a key? Besides, the system does not even have the capacity to detect if a key has been dropped off or picked up, it simply tells you that your drop-off or pickup is successful even when it's not. I had to waste hours of my time speaking to their customer service, then even more time and hundreds of dollars replacing my key fob and lock. They assume no responsibility in case it affects your next guest's check-in, and will only reimburse you up to $100 ONLY IF they THEMSELVES determine that they were at fault for losing your keys. A simple google search will show you how many other Keycafe users have had similar problems with the service. They recently jacked up the price as well and I absolutely would NOT recommend Keycafe to anyone who cares about security and user experience.
Update: They offered to reimburse up to $100 'purely out of good customer service' as they determined that they were not at fault for the loss of my key. I emailed them the receipts and here is their response. Pure professionalism.
