I THINK SEARS SHOULD HAVE OPENED THE STORES AND ONLY SOLD SEARS ITEMS BEING THEY BOUGHT THEM OUT. NEVER ANY ONE IN THE STORE.
Reasonably priced products in all areas of the store. Good if your on a budget. I've found the quality of the items purchased good too. A wonderful shopping experience!

I used to get some awesome deals at Kmart, but since moving to WI their store closed shortly after and I never made it there. That left me to shop online. I have never had so many problems ordering anything online! I finally got so fed up that I unsubscribed from all mailings. Seems most items weren't available unless it was to pick up in store, which is getting pretty hard to do since most of their stores are closing! I had issues with them billing me shipping charges on each item, not each order! I can't count the number of times I had to call customer service. Sometimes they helped, sometimes not. Plus you really have to pay attention because some items are Kmart, some Sears. It's just a shame because I did like their products and they did have some awesome deals. It just wasn't worth the frustration anymore. I can see why so many stores are closing. Hate to see a store like Sears go under after being around like forever, and Kmart was a store I worked at back in the 70's! Guess all good things must come to an end.
Their prices are higher than Walmart but most of the products aren't much better. They do have slightly nicer clothing but it's not a cheep as I would expect from that type of store. Target is better for that. The electronics and cheaper than their competitors but they are also lower end electronics, even in the major brand names. Basically, if your in a pinch and they are the closest store they are okay, otherwise Walmart or Target are better.
It's hard to find someone to help in any department. They must have really cut back on employees.
I understand people with minimum wage jobs need to shop at these places, but even WalMart is better. Sears and KMart; who came up with that brilliant idea of a merger?
WHEN YOU GO INTO ONE OF THEIR STORES, YOU FEEL LONELY, AS YOUR THE ONLY ONE IN THERE. THEIR SELECTION AND QUALITY HAS GONE DOWNHILL AS WELL. GOODBY K MART., SORRY TO SEE YOU GO.
Tried to buy a belt no one else has there inventory say 3 on hand another store says 5 on hand, i traveled far to both of these stores to find they both have 0 on hand i dont know who runs loss prevention but now i see why this company fails soo dearly. Plus kmart.com says they have it but yet cannot produce nor send the right belt. Kmart sucks!
I love shopping on Kmart.com because you can do layaway online and once its paid they ship it to you! I love it!
KMart got good discounts on laptops. No complaints from me
Kmart.com is simple to use. I wish they had lower prices, but that is just the way it pretty much has been and I don't mind.
Kmart is very much like Walmart: unattractive, not particularly clean, and staffed by people who are just trying to get by, making execrable wages in thankless jobs. Sad.
In the days of Walmart and Target Kmart seems to be lost in the shuffle. They were one of the first and still a go-to for me! Keep it up!
I'm not sure the Sear's merger is beneficial to either. These old stand-bys are no longer on my route
I liked going to Kmart before it left Canada and Target moved in to replace it but ended up leaving about 2 years later. I do go to Kmart whenever I go over to the US but I find it has more than it did previously at the Canadian locations and that seems to hold true for most stores that are based in the US and Canada.
I like the store, the people and some of the quality products it has whenever they go on sale so its an average store worth going to.
When I compare one cruiseship to another, I saw Carnevail is like K Mart; Royal Caribbean, Holland American and Norwegian are like Macy's and Crystal is like Nordstrom.
That should give you a picture.
