Do you value your credit rating? Kudoo will report a late payment immediately to the credit bureau even without sending a bill or saying you were reported. In 10 months of service they reported me three times, without sending notice or dusrupting service to my knowledge. The amounts overdue were about $60 bucks. I know - what billion dollar company reports to your bureau multiple times for such pocket change? Kudoo (Telus) is the only company I know.
They don't have paper bills to mail anymore, and they have a convoluted self-serve system that is flakey. They sent me links to get on to their system that were broken so no billing access. Then when I called to ask what was going on they blamed it on me that I didn't logon. That was after they screwed up my credit. My recommendation? Avoid. It's bad enough they are a poor mobile company, but when they screw up your mortgage and loan rates that is simply deceitful
Am no longer a koodoer. Lost my fone on an overseas flight, but got it back after a long process that took all of the 90 days for which I suspended my # and account. Personally went to Koodo Kits Vancouver store as I got close to the 90th day. After waiting half hour was assured by Marc that I would not lose my #--total BS: on the 91st day got fone, but number irretrievably gone (thanks Marc!)--so I am also gone from doo-doo, and am warning others. I regret to admit that I was the "mark" in dealing with this "who gives a damn" outfit.
It's difficult talking with Koodo assist (a computer) which is pretty much the only way to get a call back. In order to contact them you pretty much have to go through twitter or Facebook to get an immediate response. Which is unprofessional for the customer size and issues that Koodo have had lately. Their community forum has a lot of dissatisfied. If you post something in the forum that a rep doesn't like, such as telling them what they are doing wrong they remove the post or block you from that thread
Cancellation of free Canada wide calling is complete and utter BS and highly unacceptable. It's upsetting that people are just sitting around and letting it happen.
Charging both the most loyal members Koodo has and on top of that, giving terrible deals to new comers and charging them extra money for Canada wide calling is highly unacceptable and they should be held accountable for that.
Lastly, I've been a member since 2016 since I've lived in Canada. Now I'm moving to Rogers in hopes I get better customer service. So far I'm happy with the help they have given me.
I've been with koodo for over 2 years. 2 devices. No bill has been less than $250 and that was for the basic plans, basic phones. Koodo dosen't offer the best newest devices... but charges the same as rogers, bell and others for top of the line devices. Anyway koodo is the only phone company who charged me $180 in easy roam for 7 days out of the country. It's supposed to be $16 a day. What they don't advertise or address is easy roam dosen't cover data... so another $400 bill. The devices are paid off. So its plan and easy roam charges. Now you can't call koodo. They want u to request a call back. 10pm at night... the slot available and booked for callback was 9 30. Honestly the actual service with koodo isn't good either. Comes and goes. Frustrating. All in all ughhh
I have been communicating with Koodoo for 4 months about calls not coming through, calls being dropped, text messages not coming through.Telus the parent company of koodoo couldn't even get through (left vm or I wouldn't have known they called),didn't show in my caller Id or show missed call! Keep getting the runaround, there's an investigation into the problem but no updates at all! 4 MONTHS and this problem can't be fixed! Get your f&$$)( act together! NOW they disconnected my device because I refuse to pay for services I'm not getting! You want your money then hold up your end of the contract and give me decent service and I'll pay every penny of the contract I agreed to! You,KOODOO,are not holding up your end of the contract! You broke the contract and now you want me to continue paying? For what?
Unbelievable! Just stunniing how its absolutely impossible to get someone to answer the phone or even to give me a call back at my goddamn phone company. The irony is insane. Koodo, I have been a customer for over 20 years and anytime I need to get in touch with you I want to quit your company. Its absolutely ridiculous that its impossible to get customer service that doesn't include a bot. Your bot doesn't work man, get your $#*! together and hire ppl to answer your fkng customer service line.
Just like Dawoud A. I too spoke to Ulysses, and he was power tripping. Instead of accepting reasonable terms for an outstanding balance of $118, he suspended my service on the onset of COVID19, reported me to the credit bureau. In addition, their current changes mean you have to make a chat request for a callback. They don't listen, they waste hours of your time, and all for slightly cheaper service than TELUS. It's bargain basement customer service from Koodoo.
My phone broke, so I tried to buy a new phone from koodo. Seems simple. I went to the koodo store but was told they'd charge me $50 unless I ordered on-line. So I ordered on-line. Koodo wouldn't complete the transaction until I entered a code that they texted to me... on my phone... which was broken! I went back to the store to sort out the issue, and the clerk was flummoxed, and couldn't help me.
Been with koodo 15 years never had as many problems as I do living in Windsor start in London Ontario never a problem come to Windsor border towers kick in getting roaming charges over billing and then being told by Kudo that they they did it the first time, but they won't do it a second time because they're at fault because they're living on the border Don't waste your time. If you live in Windsor, it's not worth it.
They are so usless stay away from them there is no customer support of any kind impossible to get ahold of a customer rep the online not is no help and sends usless. Gifs if you have no data it is impossible to even get any support of any kind stay far far far far away from Koodo
Answer: After 5 years of loyalty and many After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
