Never ever get a phone with this company I just got out cause they offer great quality services but in reality once u agree n but a 1000 dollar phone they give u very $#*!y quality n expect u 2 pay it or leave but after u pay them off 4 the phone so either way they screw u in2 the hole or in my cases with their $#*!y services harassment charges from contacts on my phone due 2 freezing n over sending so I ergue every1 of u 2 get away from koodo b4 they screw u over 2
Horrible customer service. Despite paying my bill on time, the credit is not showing up on my account. One month and 3 phone calls later and they still have not resolved the issue
I had called Koodos customer service to cancel my plan and they said its done and everything was good only to find out later that I was still being charged for months for the same plan that I had canceled. I called again gave them the ACCOUNT NUMBER so there could be NO mistakes for the second time. They said everything is good now account deleted. I was STILL BEING CHARGED. After countless hours of being put on hold (literally called on my day off when the sun was out and got off the phone when it was pitch dark outside, ate and walked my dog all while being put on hold repeatedly,) the best they could do for me was take $50 off the bill of a phone that was not even being used. I went through different levels of management and who were unhelpful. The best part was when I finally reached the top he told me that if I didn't pay it; it would just be sent to collections. So bottom line they love to steal your money, are incredibly rude and inconsiderate of your time.
Please, go out and write a 1 star reviews of both Telus and Koodo in every reviewsite you can, minimize the damage and abuse they do to consumers by making it difficult for them to convert new customers. Always remind fellow consumers that Telus owns Koodo. They have too many new clients, are all rainbow and lollipops with a new customer, but the more new customers they get, the worse they treat their existing customers. We're eventual churn to them, not customers to serve and support to keep our business but consider a new customer to rip off for the short term. They double bill, they don't resolve issues, they add unsubstansiated fees, they create opportunity for consumer breach of contract, force it upon their customers to collect revenues through penalties. Report them to the CRTC, Report them to the CRTC.
My first portable telephon compagny ist koodo.but please dont take koodo.when me was be a koodo member it say:you dont pay a certain august,but alwhay i pay my bill with koodo.koodo traking me when me take a new cell compagny n i take a new phone number.also the signal with koodo be no good.cheap compagny.
KoodoMobile provides terrible service, I recommend staying away from this company. Koodo charged me for nothing and didn't admit their mistake, I am very upset with this service.
Please never sign up with koodo, sincere advice, Poor is small word for koodo customer service. Robotic machine has no clue what you ask for and no one call you back.
Worse thing i did was switch from telus to koodo and a contract worse mistake OMG... Had a balance when i switched over when i looked at my account found out they are taking money from my CC on file.
Today I try to contact a human wants to keep talking about Hooking my CC back up to the account. Such bull $#*! now I will probably have to buy out this stupid contract i am tied to to get out of this.

I had called Koodo from my work phone to cancel my personal account with them, as a second phone was no longer needed. Process was simple, I was told everything was taken care of, This was in July. 5 Months go by and I start receiving emails in my junk mail box saying that I owe nearly 300 dollars for the past 5 months of service plus late fees, and that if unpaid it will affect my credit score (which is excellent with no blemishes). After calling Koodo and talking to them about this issue, they said there is nothing they can do for me as they have no record of account cancellation. Even though i spoke with a representative in July. On top of this the account shows no activity since the time I had attempted to cancel and this was shown on my account records, even still Koodo refused to drop the charges. They admitted to me on the phone that it was their mistake and still told me nothing could be done for me except to cancel my account so no more charges to continue to pile up. This is criminal and there is something that can be done to rectify the problem, Koodo (a sub-par, lacluster) company just refuses to back their customers. I will always let anyone who asks, know my situation to ensure they DO NOT sign up with KOODO.

Answer: After 5 years of loyalty and many After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
