Charged 44 for one call to texas absolutely horrible company stay away went to freedom much brtter plan and cheaper cany speak to any good reps at koodo they are I south America when u call them
My experience with Koodo has been absolutely terrible. I recently got a Samsung galaxy S10 with Koodo and after 16 days of having the phone it keeps restarting randomly. I purchased the phone through a retail outlet(best buy). I took the phone into best buy and was told I was over their 14 day return, they said to contact Koodo to see if they would authorize the exchange. I contacted Koodo and was told by the rep to take the phone to a Koodo dealer in my city and they would have the power to exchange my device. I was then sent by the manager at the Koodo store back to best buy because he said the rep on the phone was wrong and the exchange had to be done through best buy as that's where I got it. When I got back to best buy they were ready to exchange it but we had to call Koodo once again for authorization. Because I was one day over the 15 day return/exchange I was told they would have to send my phone away for repair. I declined as I cant be without a phone, nor should I have to be. This is a 1200$ smartphone that is defective and Koodo has done nothing to remedy the situation. I will NEVER do business with them after my contract is up, and I will make anyone and everyone who asks aware of their terrible customer service. Not a happy customer.
Never, Never, Never buy any plan from Koodo, they will lie why you buy package from them but later you will suffer lot. I had fixed plan for US / CANADA, Clearly discussed that I can call from to and from US & Canada and I was assured yes it is, but I visited US and within 3 days you will be notified that your bill has reached to 400+, bid shock but how. I used wi-fi in the hotel and office. I ensured that my phone data is off but still this big amount in just 3 days. I am sure NASA will not charge this much if someone calls from moon. But Koodo, not sure how they have generated this bill, I wish it Koodo name can be change to Looto (mean make fool all customers)
I studied in Canada on an exchange year, and signed up with koodo while I was there, and cancelling my contract since I left has been hell on earth. After I cancelled it, they closed my Self Serve account, which I still need access to pay my final bill, and I since haven't been able to pay it, only for them to threaten to send my account off to a collection agency, because THEY closed my account. I tried to ask the Koodo Assist for help which was absolutely useless, I asked it if I could speak to a live representative, and they said I have to schedule a callback, WHICH THEY DON'T DO FOR INTERNATIONAL NUMBERS (I'm from the UK). I risked the colossal international bill and called them up, only for their call bot to recommend that I use Koodo Assist for my issue, then hang up on me! I'm now beyond terrified of being internationally hunted down by collection agencies, and I honestly feel trapped. DONT USE THIS COMPANY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD>
I received the phone from KOODO last August & was rushed to the hospital the next day after a bad fall -I spent 5 months in 3different hospitals - I didn't realize the phone came without a SIM card - I called Koodo they said they would send me 1. Then on March 5 they charged me $242.21- I have request my money back several times- yesterday spoke to a Julia & that was the worst customer service - I couldn't use the service until March 22 when I received the SIM card and she said "No". There was no indication she would empathize with me.

What a TERRIBLE telecom company. Your bills will always vary - youll find some stupid bogus cvharge every damn month. Best of luck trying to get a hold of a human BAHAHAHAHAA! You have to speak to a bot before you can even hear a human's voice. The *******636 customer service is automated AND it tells you to hang up and you'll STILL receive a text from the Koodo Bot...I hate you guys. I hate any company that doesn't provide a human customer service line. You cheap, gouging a$$holes! F*U*C*K YOU KOODO!

Koodo started stealing from their customers now. My plan has increased magically 5$ for no reason. When i called, they replied that the company wanted to do so!
I've been with Koodo a long time. Don't ask me why I haven't switched yet. I blame it on not finding enough time but I digress. So back in 2011 after switching from SaskTel I choose Koodo stupidly. Maybe it was the flashy lights/prices I don't know. Well ever since the kiosk staff have never been properly trained, I've gone to Koodo stores with similar results. I have had months of cut off service. No one listens nor is respectful. It's pretty sad when you have to intervene with CRTC but it does get their attention. ;) Please be kind to yourself and don't choose Koodo. Service REP are so incredibly rude. Seriously this isn't smoke and mirrors you'll end with such a headache. You'll end with constant marketing calls asking you to switch home internet providers. Even if you request a DNCL. I actually had them profile me at the mall a few times when they're doing "promo" days. Scary. The thing is what they've always pushed is Self-Serve. But that also means no one is there to assist you if something goes wrong. And at least in Koodo's eyes that's alright. Smh
Answer: After 5 years of loyalty and many After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
