Koodo mobile woodbine center. I got 3 lines last Nov21. Staff was very good and cooperative. Today i went to check on boxing day deal. ITS A DISASTER. PERSON WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. NO MANNERS TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS. IN FACT ASKING ME WHY DID I WASTE MY TIME COMING TO THE SHOP. SOLVE YOUR ISSUES ON LINE.

Unprofessional sales and wrong marketing scheme. Billing is incorrect. Customer service said koodo is different from telus but sales sold me telus phone plan. I was lied and tricked.
On black friday I went to the koodo store and opened up an account on my own cause I was on my husband's plan so the sales rep told me there was a deal going on where I pay 35 dollars for the first year and 45 dollars after that but when I got my first bill it was 45 dollars so I went back to the store to find out what was going on so the manager called koodo and they said that the deal had e paired when I got my phone and they wouldn't do anything about it so I called koodo myself and they told me that the sales rep lied to me and he knew the deal had already expired and that they will do nothing to help me
Koodo gave me international calling but when I looked there were no details on the website about what this meant. I looked several times for it and since they are very hard to get in touch with i ended up assuming that since I'm in North America that international meant to other North American countries. I made my call and was billed $200 for it! When I finally reached customer service they said that I should have just looked under 'roaming' on the site. But I wasn't roaming when I made the call so why would I look there? The info was hidden in an area that I would never look because that area was completely irrelevant to me! They know that this will mislead people and that's why they do it, when they could really just link to the info in your profile.
I stopped using them and they canceled my services but kept billing me monthly. I refuse to pay for a scam so now my bill is in collections and has reached over $1300! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. There needs to be a class action against them.
I have been with koodo for over 10 years, owe them nothing. So they call and ask about ordering a 3rd line. So ordered a new phone for my mom, phone comes and no charger, so I call and they say it does not come with one, but has a USB cable. Problem is it is a new type so every adapter I have will not work. So I am trying to set this phone up and someone else's information keeps popping up, took phone to another store koodo outlet, and they said it was used, I bought new so what's up. So talked with koodo and they said they would take it back and send a new one. Will take a couple of weeks, so I said with all the driving around and BS from them they should throw in the charger, they said noway, and I was talking to a supervisor so I stated that I have been a customer for 10 years, and they try to give me a used phone. So I told the guy I would switch providers, and guess what I did, then koodo has the balls to call and say what can we do to get you back with us. I will not tell you the rest of the conversation. Stay away from these guys, there are better services out there.
There entire service is based off of a robot chat system. The wait times to deal with issues takes forever and there is no quick way to speak with someone directly other then going to there assist chat online and requesting a call back that can take up to an entire day. It says if your not with anyone to request a callback to get ahold of them on Facebook. I did that and the reply took forever and it took them a week to get my issue resolved. GET THIS COMPANY A CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. CMON KOODO.
Koodo Mobile has a very poor after sale customer service which I think is a disrespectful to customers.
I signed up for a 24 month contract with Koodo on Dec 7th 2016. Being new to the company I needed some information. I went ontheir website to call and realized I will be charged $10 if I wanted to speak to a customer service representative. This is not communicated to customers at the time of sale. I therefore decided to cancel my service with them. I visited 2 Koodo dealership locations one on Eglington Avenue East and the other at Parkway Mall and was told I had to call *******636 to cancel. I called the first day and after a series of automated messages was put on hold with music playing. I waited for over one hour with no human being responding to my call. After a long wait of frustration I hanged up the phone. I tried again the following day with the same experience.
Is this some form of strategy to discourage dissatisfied customers from cancelling their contract with Koodo even though the contract said you could cancel at any time? Is this a strategy to tie down customers to Koodo Mobile or its just poor customer service?
Koodo website only list a P O Box mailing address to mail your payment to with no physical address. Also no email address for customer service for customers to contact them if they have any issues and the *******636 number is a nightmare to call as is just a waste of customer time.
If after sale customer service is priority to you then think twice in choosing your mobile service.

I have been with multiple carriers over time. Koodo is by far the worst of them.
Horrible customer service, most of the time they send you to multiple places before an issue is resolved.
I purchased a Certified Pre owned phone that stopped working after a few weeks. But beyond the point I was able to return it. You only get one month. The screen started to not register touch and it would pixelate and change colour. After being sent to two different Koodo locations I was sent to a Telus store to send it away. They were less than happy to assist me there. Like I'm inconveniencing them because Koodo phone is trash.
We got the phone back and it worked for a couple months. Then the same issues started happening again, went through the process and it happened again. This time outside of the time that they cover the cost of repair. So we're stuck with this phone that 80% of the time doesn't register touch. Couldn't even answer when a call comes in.
After being a customer for over 5 years, there was nothing they'd do to assist.
So I changed companies and am left paying the remaining amount, sneakily in the contract not as the tab for a garbage phone that hardly ever worked.
NEVER buy preowned and honestly, so glad I've left Koodo now!

Koodo is a $#*! company! They don't have a customer service number. They as you to register for a call back, and then NEVER call back. I have a bill for 500$, for services I DIND'T use with them. After more than 5 hours of trying to reach customer service at this $#*! company, someone called back.
The person who called back had no idea what he was doing. After being on the phone for 3 hours with this person, he said I would get my bill credited, because they saw I was getting charged for services I wasn't using!
ONE MONTH AFTER, I DON'T SEE ANY CREDIT ON MY ACCOUNT! I received my next bill, with AGAIN overcharges! They didn't apply the credit the promised, and they are still charging for these services that I am not using and I did NOT request.
AGAIN, I am trying to reach customer service for the last 2 hours, guess what? NO CALL BACK!
Answer: After 5 years of loyalty and many After 5 years of loyalty and many instances of deep frustration at there lack of honest customer service, this company has seriously let me down during covid19... 3 days and 3 "managers" later I am still unable to get a straightforward solution... in quarantine, need data... RIP off 100mbs for $10! I added data but because of text lag on their part ordered twice... charged $12 for 300mb... twice... price gouging company seriously use their customers in small dishonest ways to add big money to your bill... in the end the third manager promised me a new plan for my wife and I... 20gigs of data for $70... today I am cut off and my plan is unchanged (manager didnt complete it properly) and my wife is being charged $85... this isnt the first time they've made "errors" like this... they stall you, overcharge you and make it very difficult for you to reach an actual human rep... they should be charged for upping there fees in this crisis... they actually increased fees for extra data since it started... one of the worst Canadian companies I have ever dealt with... honestly feel they have no regard whatsoever for the humanity in their business... they are all about the money and it consistently shows and comes back on their customers... read the reviews... Do not use this company unless you like the experience of being sidetracked and rippedoff
