I have broad should and I am fit. I have size b cups. The shirts I ordered Small Tall did not work at the shoulder seam or the shirt openings. It pulled at the breasts. So going up a size I fear will be an exercise in futility. Nice shirt designs. It really bites to pay 6.95 return fee. I wish companies had shoulder widths on their chart sizes. Sigh.
Landsend has great sales, otherwise they're a little high for me. There clothing is great quality. Their end of season sales are the best of any site. I have a pair of athletic pants I've worn for 3 years and they still look great. I have always been please with my purchases and if not, they cheerfully refund you.
I just received an $18 credit on a $34 item that I had returned. I understand having to pay some shipping costs on returning an item, but I feel that $16 is excessive. While I have a number of items from Lands End that I enjoy wearing, I will hesitate to order from this business again due to the risk of losing money when returns are necessary.
I would not recommend any school using this company for their school uniforms. They have terrible customer service and the quality of the over priced items are not any different than the half priced Children's Place uniform clothing. Get the same items there for much less money!
I used the sizing chart to order bathing suits and two shirts. The tops and one piece suit were too small. This is a first. I wasted hours and hours going to the website and trying to find replacements. Had to scroll through many suits, pick one, then go to that one, only to find it was not available in any regular size (only very large or extremely small). Really tedious. Finally decided to return, but I am not going to PO right now. Turns out the return policy is a lie: "return it at any time for an exchange or refund of its purchase price." It has been just over three months, so I can only get a merchandise credit (plus shipping fee), not a refund. I cannot do an exchange because they are sold out of everything I want. It is summer. I will have to buy suits elsewhere. Bad show. NO ALLOWANCE FOR COVID. I am 73 and high risk. I will have to go to PO.
This is the 2nd time my order has taken forever to ship, and will be the last. Last order was submitted on 9/11/2023 and is still in "PROCESSING" as of 9/27. One of the items was for an event this weekend and now I'm scrambling to find something else. Taking almost 3 weeks to ship is ridiculous and customer service is never able to give an ETA. They have changed my order to expedited shipping, but who knows when it will be out of processing mode. I used to love Lands End and recommended them frequently. Not anymore.
I have ordered from landsend for 45 years and have never been disappointed. What I like best about shopping here is the quality of the clothing. When my children were young I bought all of their clothes here because no matter how many times the clothes were washed they looked brand new.
I wear a certain waist size in both Jockey and Fruit Of The loom underwear. I ordered the same size from Lands End, and they were hugely too large, about two inches. Lands End said I must pay a $6.95 return shipping charge, even though the product is apparently mis-sized, "That is the policy." In the age of free returns with Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc, Lands End must either change their policy or fail as a business.
I think if lands end is going to send you multiple promotions they should honor all of them. I had 2 promotions I wanted to use 40 percent off swim suits and 25 percent off full price items. Online you cant put in 2 codes. I called the company and they would not help. They actually suggested that I spit up the order since I could get free shipping on both orders. They would rather use more packaging and boxes to ship separate orders than put in the code. I needed expedited shipping so I didnt want to pay expedited shipping twice. Needless to say I deleted merchandise and will rethink shipping for a company that makes senseless decisions.
Tried to purchase an electronic gift card. They accepted my order and then cancelled it because a third party firm they use for security had an unspecified problem. Neither Lands End nor the third party could tell me what the problem was so that I could correct it.
Lands End customer service rep was apologetic, but could not fix the problem, or even communicate with the third party firm they use. I called the third party firm myself and was very rudely told that they could nor/would not tell me what the problem was.
I have been a long time Lands End customer and always appreciated the quality for the price if you can manage to get a sale. Recently, they bombard you with promo codes and it is always a rush. When I called customer service to get a price adjustment they would not budge. It takes so long to make a return and catch the promo that works with the items you want. I feel like I will take a break from Lands End and save the money. Not happy with them at all right now at all. You would think they would appreciate a long time customer.
I used to order from Lands End years ago. But now, their website is horrible! On most sites when you click an item from a list to view it, when you click to return to the list, the site automatically scrolls back to where you left off. NOT this one! You have to scroll from the beginning, back through everything you've already seen to get to where you left off. I tried their "Chat" feature to see if there was a way to fix this, or if I was missing something when trying to return to my last spot on the list. Chat as a huge joke! You get a bot that gives you options to read about everything except the problem. I can't rate their clothing anymore because I can't stand sitting for hours to re-view things I don't want just to look for something I might want to buy!
I've been meaning to write this review for awhile. My giant family all ordered matching flannel pjs for Christmas. Foolish me left ours in the box until the week before we needed them. My husband's were too small. I called right away. Although they didn't have anymore in his size in the correct pattern, when I explained why another pattern wouldn't work, the wonderful lady on the phone went to the warehouse to see what she could do. She found what we needed. Thank you Lands'End for making our Christmas picture happen!
I order their stocking with names on them every year for gifts. Love these stockings I've been ordering these since the boys were babies and now I order for their friends when I know they are going to visit for the holidays
Ordered a robe as a Christmas gift. It was supposed to ship right away, BUT, when I received the confirmation email there was a lovely note on the bottom that said "Backorder est. Ship 6/10/24" in bright red lettering. So, how is over 6 months after placing an order shipping within 2 days? I called Lands End customer service immediately to cancel the order and was told that it was canceled, and I'd receive my refund immediately. Well, the jokes on me again, I guess, because 10 days after canceling the order my bank has still not received the refund. I know some people don't consider $100+ a lot of money, but I do. I've been in contact with Lands End customer service department again and their response is the refund should hit my bank in 10-15 days. No kidding! Very bad customer service. If you can choose another online store to shop at, stay far away from Land's End. Their customer service is horrible and rude, and they lie about shipping. I'm still waiting for my refund. Just got off the phone with customer service again who told me their account department will refund when they refund and I have to be patient. I hope this made sense. I am so disappointed in what was a very reputable company a long time ago.
Two days ago I received my new High Neck Tankini in the new color of Blackberry. I was so excited to have a new color to wear, but unfortunately after only two times of swimming in the pool, the color began to fade out. Little lines of lighter color on the front and back and around the neckline a very visible fade to almost brown has been noticed. I have other colors in this style and none have had this happen. I had ordered the bottoms too, but they were back ordered so I was able to cancel that. Very disappointing, I'm surprised that this Blackberry does not have durable color. Images below.
Landsends is making customers wait 22+ days for one order. I have submitted emails, asking about when I will receive my order. The first time I emailed was 11 days after my order and the customer service agent told me to wait 22-28 days for my School uniform shirts to arrive because they didn't expect higher volumes of people ordering during back-to-school weeks. How do you not expect people to buy more uniform items during back-to-school? They also mentioned, "our embroidery team is leaner than ever and is working extra hours and weekends to do the absolute best to get orders out the door". This is complete bull crap to keep customers patient while they delay the order even longer. It has officially been 21 days since I ordered my items and It is still being proccessed.
I have been trying to order a 52 long suit jacket since February. They have been in the last 4 catalogs. It doesn't show up online. When I call customer service says they have NEVER had it in that size! Then fix the typo so I don't have false hope of getting a big guy an affordable suit!
Bought 5 fleece tops.
One arrived soiled and stained.
Washed all items and one top was a wrinkly mess despite being in the dryer on low for less than 10 minutes.
Better yet--one top had fabric that was a fleece texture while the bottom sleeve looked to be another texture. Must've used the fabric that was at the end of the bolt for that one.
Astounded at the poor quality of the items in general.
Lands sent us the wrong item so we called them & they said to send it back and they would replace it with the correct item. This is what happened: We sent the incorrect item back But when they sent us the correct one they charged us again. We now have (2) TWO charges on our credit card and they have not issued the credit for the returned item. This was their fault but they tell us that every time they send something out they have to charge the recipient but have (15) days to issue a credit. Will never do business with this outfit again! Their nothing but crooks. No wonder their stock is in the tank!
Answer: They charged me shipping on my order. (I no longer patronize them because they charge for shipping returns, even if the product is deficient.)
Answer: Beware of Lands End's current "free" shipping scam. We get emails almost daily from Lands End offering discounts on certain items or even any item they carry and the have also been offering "free" shipping. Of course almost every online shopping site is offering free shipping right now. The difference between all other sites/sellers free shipping is that they will either give it to UPS, FedEX, or the USPS and those people make the actual delivery to your door in a few days. I'm assuming it is an effort to save money Lands End "free" ships packages via UPS BUT only to your closest major postal facility and drops all the "free" shipments there. It is then up to the USPS to sort everything and deliver the package to your home. This can result in a delay of from several days to a week or more. Our latest purchase was dropped at the sorting facility on 12/5. From there it needed to be sorted and delivered to the mail facility that handles home mail deliveries. Bottom line is that we didn't get the delivery until 12/9. That is after leaving the Lands End warehouse on! 2/2. I get shipments from LL Bean or Amazon purchases delivered in 2-3 days. The response we got after questioning Lands End was that if we want deliveries in 2-3 days we would have to pay for shipping. Considering the delivery times I get from other sellers offering free shipping, I think Lands End is misleading customer's expectations of "free" shipping. Come on Lands End, I want that big brown truck to bring my packages to my front door and want it to be REALLY free or you have lost a long time customer.
Answer: I don;t know about knit pants but I have had the Starfish for a couple of years now and they don't become baggy--just a little but they bounce right back after washing. I was very happy with mine, went to get a new pair and ended up with a pair I cannot wear. Dismayed to find that returns are too complicated (expensive, too) so will be getting out the sewing machine to make them fit (they are huge in the thigh). I think the problem lies with having ordered Tall. The old pants are just Regular. Be careful about sizing!
Answer: Several years ago i ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses from LE. I had to send two back for a different size. The replacement dresses were a slightly different shade of the color. Then had to send all 5 dtesses back to get all same color. What a mess!
