There were a few hiccups but the company sent laborers out to fix the problem within the week. They were apologetic and thoughtful as they made their product as it should be. I have not been on top of the roof but hope all is exactly what they said. Job OKC 15195
/something didn't look right so I got up the ladder and found that the end of a panel was curled up, allowing leaves to enter the gutter. I called the LeafFilter office in Baton Rouge, LA. They wanted to send a man and charge me $95. I told them not to send him as I didn't see why I should pay when the problem was due to shoddy installation or defective product.
I will start by saying that I think LeafFilter is selling a good product, and all of the installers I dealt with were very competent, courteous, and honest. Ultimately, I am happy with the installation, but your mileage may vary greatly depending on the quality of the local office arranging the jobs. The Albany, NY branch operations were terrible. It started off poorly with a salesperson who made a bunch of promises about job timing and process and made good on none of them. LeafFilter struggled to arrange my installations, struggled to provide accurate contracts that reflected what we discussed, did not send the right quantity of installers the first time for either of my jobs, and did not send the installers with the correct Bill of Materials for the job. When I was finally able to get installers on site, I had to re-explain both jobs to them as they had been sent without proper briefs from their schedulers and had been sent with extra materials that were not applicable. LeafFilter seems to be selling a good product, but their Albany, NY branch management is certainly not representing the company the way it portrays itself in terms of competence or professionalism.

Just over 12 months ago I had the leaf filter gutter guards installed on the front and rear porches of my home as pine needles blowing off trees and onto roof would constant plug the gutters. Ads on TV and displays caught my attention, especially the TV ads "Never climb a ladder again". Leaf filter guards were installed. Yesterday the first heavy rain of the year washed pine needles onto the leaf filter covers, where they are stuck and the water ran over the needles and off the front of the gutters. The service department of Leaf Filter doesn't have to be as charming as sales. They know they have you screwed and can't do a thing about it. Told me they would come out, but if it would be a $95 charge because they only guarantee that stuff won't clog the inside of the gutters. Wait a minute; the ads and sales people conveniently leave this statement out, so technically they can get away with it. Don't be fooled by their sales pitch like I was, Spread the word what a scam they really are.

This company is a joke. They arrived to put gutters on I was inside thought they knew what they were doing. Go out they are putting white gutters on. Totally wrong color. I live in a H0A development do you see any white gutters? Contacted them they did come back with the color I ordered. So now I have no gutter covers on a whole section in the front of house. Noticed it when the gutter was over flowing and we looked and pine needles all in it. They are saying they can do nothing. Asked for a bill I signed but so far after 6 calls none has been presented. Looking closer one of the gutters has a slit on the end. This company is a joke. See you in small claims court since I found my paper that says filters on the gutters.

The leaf filter's quality of product explains why warranty is worthless. I've had my filters for 8 months before hail damaged them. They sent service rep and was told warranty doesn't cover and wants to charge me the entire price I purchased them for 8 months ago plus additional $700 to replace! This company has the worst customer service for a subpar product. Warranty is worthless. And I can't get a superior like the owner of company to talk to me. Local Mgr says he's the authority and can't help me. Says pay the price or don't get them replaced. So I'm stuck with some filters that lasted 8 mos! $4800 down the drain!

BEWARE! I thought I was getting gitters with filters but all I got was gutters! Not worth the price for just gutters! I would have gone somewhere else. The salesman was misleading. Leaf "FILTER" means a filter system. The salesman told me all about the proprietary surgical material they use on the filter. When I complained he pointed out that he had written only "gutters" on the contract. He did me a "favor" because the filters are a "Cadillac" system costing twice as much. I think he knew I wouldn't have paid for that so sold me only gutters. Of course, I had no idea that Leaf "FILTER" made gutters without the filter.

I like the product and they boast about there install how clean and efficient it will be. Well reality is that the install was a slob and everything in the gutter was tossed all over the ground, old metal bracket tossed all over the place and screws left behind on the ground. Not to mention the stuff out of the gutter he threw onto my windows. Now i have to spend my time cleaning up there mess. Called customer service and left a message and what a shocker, no return call. I will definitely not recommend them to any of my neighbors or friends. Its a shame when even customer service leaves a bad taste along with the installers.

They are prone to clogging with leaf and shingle grit debris. Then when clogged the rain water runs over. We explained it to LeafFilter and they sent someone out to check. Cleaned off the debris. $95. After we had them installed less than two years ago. The shingle grit was part of what was clogging and forcing the rain water to pour over. That would not have been an issue with regular rain gutters. The overflow ended up in our basement. Lots of water pouring over the gutter.

The "sell" and installation might be an enjoyable, but Leaf filter has put the burden on me for any issue moving forward. Not only have they limited their responses, but they have duplicated "automated" emails to me within the same correspondence. Basically told me I'm SOL and buy a roof brush, hop on a ladder (for a 2 story house), or pay a service charge for them to come clean out their product. I would not recommend this product/customer service for the pretty penny we paid. It's unfortunate as I think the product has yet to prove it's worth. Water is overflowing on a portion of my gutter on two separate occasions, same spot, but 6 months apart. Leaf Filter's response was the burden is on me to clean it out. So clean out a patented product that's not doing what it was designed to do? It's clogged and not even brining the gutter's functions into play. By the way, I've only had this for maybe 1 year.

Extremely unhappy. One year in and one popped off. Called for service and made an appointment. A guy showed up two days early when no one was home and said everything was fine. I called and told them it was not fine and that I wanted to keep the same appointment. Sat here all day and no one showed up. Customer service personnel argued with me on the phone. For what the product costs the customer service should be much better.

I spent over $5,000 installing leaf filter on my house and garage. They continue to clog, not the gutter, but the leaf filter itself fills with pine needles and of course they do not work.
I have called and they came out to clean them once, now they say I have to pay for the service. I have asked for a refund since the way it was sold to me was I would never have a clog again, and never have to clean them again, which is not true.

During a heavy rain noticed water leaking behind gutter. Called leaf filter, they had a guy here within a day. The technician name was Ethan, very courteous and knowledgeable about gutters and the leaf filter system. Found the problem (and it was not a clog like I thought) and fixed the problem. He did a great job.

As we actually never had them installed, the sales person - Paul Shaw - and the customer service management is one of the worst I have ever experienced. Mr Shaw sold me 87 yr dad a $13,000 gutter system and when I called to cancel the contract one hour after my dad signed and asked for his deposit back, I got the run around for almost a month. Mr Shaw is rude and dishonest and management wouldn't even give the courtesy to return a call when I was clearly told a call would be returned in 24 hours. 10 days after my 1st call, we finally received our check. We had a company go to my dad to inspect his gutters and they just needed a cleaning - not replacement. When this was told to Mr Shaw he told me he told my dad that and my dad insisted on a $13,000 gutter system. I can not vouch for the quality of their product but I would be very careful with this company

We are happy with this product BUT the loan was given to Wells Fargo Bank, N. A. and it has been a nightmare ever since. WFBank has horrible CS representatives! They have called and tormented my 91 year old mother about being late on a payment. She was placed into a Nursing Home and we lost the payment sheet. She was called on a Sunday morning and ridiculed about the late payment and has been charged $83 more dollars. This company, Wells Fargo Bank, N. A. is a loan (shark) company that cares for nobody and real-life situations. Please be sure your loan will not be given to this loan company... BEWARE!

I had them install the gutters on my house and carport and on my carport it don't seem like it's installed right how was I post to know 2 years later I see it's over flowing and they want a 95 dollar payment to come out and fix it when it's prolly been like that the whole time the front and end is full of water and the middle is over flowing Update now they are saying they want me to call like I haven't already duh...I'm not paying for u to come out to fix a problem u created the gutters are not clogged and have screws missing at the ends not the middle we the dame thing is sagging wow good job hassle me sum more thanks...

They advertise themselves as gutter CLEANERS. When you call them to schedule a cleaning, they switch their pitch to try to sell you their inferior overpriced product. They don't stop calling. You cannot block their calls because they use a different number each time they call! Terrible Company.

We got this on our home and after less than a year the mesh they install came out in a window storm, they came a fixed it once and then when it happened a second time they refused to unless we paid over $100 in a service charge! After getting the service charge knocked down to $50+ the tech came out and told us we could have fixed it ourselves!
I will never recommend this product to ANYONE and regret our purchase in the first place as it cost us over $2,500 - For it to fall apart on multiple occasions - In less then 2 years!

They come out to give an estimate. High estimate over 11,000. When I asked about promotional email discount he ignored me. After the 3rd time he asked to see the email. Quote went to 8000.00 Quote good only until he left. The guy WOULD NOT LEAVE he then called his boss to bully us. UNBELIEVABLE! It took another 20 mins. To get rid of him. I had to start carrying his stuff out. His boss on the phone was extremely unprofessional. In the driveway the quote went to 5000.00 after bullying my husband and myself Do not have them in your house unless you are 100% sure you are buying THAT day. The longer they stay the lower the quote but after talking to Scott and hearing HIS BOSS I would never give them a penny!

Warranty is a joke. Doesn't cover anything and if you have your roof done and their service workers come to uninstall and reinstall it's a minimum of $450 or the warranty (that's not worth anything anyway---had to pay $150 after Ian took half my gutters and gutter screens out) is void. I'd rather let my roofers damage the gutter screens and replace with Home Depot gutter foam. Then the tech they send doesn't even have his shoes on all the way and wreaks of pot. Never again. Don't care if the warranty is voided. Not another dime will be given to these scammers.

Purchased Leaf filter system to eliminate the need to climb on the roof to clean gutters. Now necessary to climb on the roof twice a year to remove debris from the screen. The cost of this product is ridiculous for what is provided and the after service. Please do not waste your money on this system. Hire a company to clean your gutters twice a year.

The company doesn't back what the website says the gutters will and will not do. The company service sucks too. They are suppose to fix the gutters for life if there is problems and so far they have come out several times to fix the same problem because they can't get it right. In the meantime the fatia is being destroyed by water damage. The employees make commitments and never follow through as well.

We completed an order to have their product installed in our vacation home back in June, for a late July installation date. Despite reaffirming the installation date the day before; we were contacted late in the date via text that same day that they would not be coming install the following day. We were also informed that our installation date was now being pushed out into Sept?! No one in sales mgt or customer service would return any calls...the installation mgr who texted us; also not respond to any texts. We texted the sales manager with our concerns, and wanted to understand the protocol to cancel the work...once again, no response. We have since left a vmail message. Bottom line - we were paying a premium price for this product/service; we expect premium customer service and communication - it appears that they are NOT capable of same.

They will promise the world. Clean out gutters, re-pitch and put their patent filter on top. Then they will give you a large price, and almost cut it in half of you sign right away. When you do, they will come and only out their filter on top. They will not clean them out first, or repitch them… their filters will just collect crap on top and they will not wash away. They will then ignore you when you want to cancel. We actually financed through their company (Wells Fargo) and contacted them. So far, no idea where we stand but we aren't paying.
