I originally sent two pairs of glasses in May. A set of polo frames with sunglass lens i wanted changed go clear and gold metal sunglasses i wanted replaced with sunglass lens.
Second pair of glasses arrived today and order STILL completely wrong
Original order was change lenses in polo frames from sunglass to clear and replace sunglass lens in gold glasses with sunglass lens
First time order was sent leaving sunglass lens in polo lenses and changing clear lenses in gold sunglasses to clear.
Sent order back you to correct. Both glasses arrived this week with same error
If i keep the polo lens, would it be possible to get sunglasses in the gold frames as they were supposed to be?
So back in January I sent my Oakley sunglasses in to have my perception lenes put in, it took close to a month to get them back only to find out that the left lens was messed up, this was now in March. So about a month ago I emailed them requesting a status update and they advised that the lab was still waiting so I contact UPS "they provide zero help" and then emailed lensabl again, they responded oh we are waiting for them and will contact me when they are ready IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS! So now I'm out a $250.00 pair of sunglasses and incompetent customer service agent that couldn't care less!

I am rating you as a 4. Your service was fast. It only took a week from the time I sent the frames off. I was able to track where my glasses were in your process. Unfortunately there are is a circle embedded into both lenses. I noticed them when I received my glasses. I wore them to work last night and I was impressed how they are splash proof!
What I purchased was replacement lenses for my Rayban Sunglasses. I got prescription lenses with coatings, mirror finish, polarization - everything I could. The product that was given to me was exactly that - they even matched the mirror coating on the lenses to the original coating on the rayban lenses I sent them. I didn't provide a PD but instead did their "take a photo with a credit card next to your face" option and while it's pretty accurate, I think something may be off with mine. When I look through the glasses it takes my eyes a minute to focus - something that doesn't happen with my normal glasses. I'm gonna give it a bit of time to adjust and reach out to Lensabl about it and see what they think. Overall, the product is great and I'm glad I found them. Took almost a month from me sending out the glasses to getting them back.
Service is definitely 3 stars though. The tracking system on the website is less than desirable - it doesn't update as frequently as you think it would which provides inaccurate details about your purchase. For example, there was an issue with my lenses during quality control and they "expedited" a new set to replace the wrong ones. That's great and something I'm very happy about, but I received no notice about it, when I reached out to them about it I didn't get a response until days after and the alert still showed on the tracking page all the way through delivery. This made me very unsure as to whether they actually fixed it or not. Communication with their support team was great overall - they were pleasant and easy to talk to, but it took forever to get responses. I'm a patient and understanding guy, but it was on the long side. When my item was ready to ship, it was in the "Ready to ship" phase until I actually received the item. I got an email with a tracking number and everything, but the portal still said that it was "waiting to ship" - it's since updated, but again isn't very helpful while waiting for the item to be delivered.
Overall a great service and great company to work with, just some wonky things in between that need to be ironed out. I'll still recommend the service and even use them in the future! Thank you for the new sunglasses, Lensabl!
I found the entire experience working with Lensable to be simple and very streamlined. I love my renewed frames which I added a sunglass prescription lens to. A great way to use frames I still love and get my sunglasses all in one! Will definitely order again!
I thought it's difficult to do order lens online but it's a user friendly. You offered everything. It's not about selling your own frames but also customers own preferences. I am happy with my first order, so i just ordered again. Thank you very much.
Very poor communication with customer service through email. My lenses had scratches that occurred well before the 90 day protection coverage was over. Customer service continued to deny the redo order. After telling them the dates that they could not seem to figure out themselves, and that I'd contact my credit card company (which I did) to dispute and the BBB. Suddenly a redo was approved.
Their customer service practices are not ethical. I will not do business with them or recommend them to anyone.
I ordered a pair of soprano glasses from bose who partners with lensabl. No need to receive them and send them off, seamless process.my lenses didn't pass their quality testing and were redone perfectly! I appreciate their attention to quality and the glasses are awesome! Beach time with tunes and a book!
My glasses took nearly a month to put in lenses, which was ridiculous, as it had to go back to lens production at least three times because it had failed inspection. While I understand that it must pass inspection, it's questionable why the lenses needed to be made THREE times. I could have easily gone to a local store to get lenses made for a cheaper price, but I trusted Stoggles word. Unfortunately, I would most likely never use Lensabl again for new lenses.
I sent the order in after a month I reached out to inquire the status, it took a few days to respond and they said it failed quality checks and had to start over, after I received the first time, they were very wrong rx not even close, after emailing with days between responses, they said the entered the wrong information from the rx and send them back to re-do. I asked for a refund and they said the don't do refunds - read the fine print. I sent them back and again - no response for a month - I emailed a few time and after a week, they responded with it failed a quality check and had to re-do. I asked for a refund and again - no refund, read fine print. Finally received them and the glasses are not even close to what they should be. Emailed again - no response. Never again.
Perhaps better communication to explain process, time and delivery info. Info given lead me to believe my glasses were misdelivered to wrong location, when it was actually sent to be checked. I received my frames a couple days later.
Overall my prescription is good and happy I can use my Oakley frames.
Ordered clear lenses... took a long time... and they sent me photochromatic lenses and didn't send back the original case the glasses came with. Very upset.
I am pleased with my new glasses! I work in the operating room and sent my Stoggles to have prescription lenses placed. I wore them today and was very happy with the final product. Great return packaging and a cleaning kit included!
I was hesitant at first but decided to just dive in. Super easy and super satisfied when I got my glasses back. Quality is amazing and I would definitely recommend if you have that one pair (or multiple) you just never want to let go :)
This is the second time I've used Lensabl and the second time that I received perfect service. I have some frames that I do not want to change and the lenses just needed an update after 2 years. Had a good experience with the last few orders in the past year. This time was a disaster. After 7 weeks of frustration, I finally got my glasses back yesterday. They had black pen marks all over the lenses that took some time to remove. Still not even sure if they are correct, but at this point, I am done with working with you guys.

Overall made the experience easy to navigate, but when I excitedly went to open my box and find my new glasses, there was a frame that I didn't order and my order was nowhere to be found. Definitely get points for presentation and ease of ordering, but disappointing to get the wrong order delivered and hoping fixing it is straightforward.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
