Lensabl has garnered a reputation for providing high-quality lenses and a convenient service for replacing lenses in existing frames, with many customers expressing satisfaction with the product quality and the speed of delivery. However, concerns have been raised regarding customer service responsiveness, particularly during issue resolution, as well as occasional discrepancies in prescription accuracy. While many customers appreciate the transparency and communication throughout the process, there are notable frustrations related to the handling of returns and remakes. Overall, Lensabl is viewed positively, though improvements in customer support could enhance the overall experience.

I sent in my new Razer Anzu glasses, as I needed prescription lenses fit into them. The process was quick and my glasses fit perfectly. Thank you!
Ordered clear blue light blocking lenses for my Dior frames. Price and shipping from when I sent my frames out to when I received them back was unbeatable. They have so many customizable options it was exactly what I was looking for!
Lensabl did a fantastic job in placing new lenses in my favorite frames. The glasses really look like new, very happy with the results. I would definitely use again in the future and highly recommend!
The process of shipping my frames was very easy and efficient. The site kept me updated on the progress of my new lenses which took about 3-4 weeks I believe. I recently received my frames back and I am so excited to get to use them at work! Overall it was a great experience.
Excellent craftsmanship and packaging, however it did take a while to deliver after initially sending frames out. Customer service was good with getting back to me when I was questioning the timely process which is good.
I was skeptical at 1st and very nervous. After looking in 3 different places for glasses I found none that worked for me. I had an x tra pair of ray bans (rb3183) that were a little scratched up an now I'm glad I saved them bcuz I sent those frames to lensabl and I absolutely love the job they did in making prescription lenses for them... they look natural as if their supposed to be prescription glasses...
Now I'm going to have lensable make me pair of progressive lenses for the other pair of rb3183's that have...
I am not a review type of person but they made my day
Ty so much to the lensabl team. Yous did a fantastic job!
Good communication but glasses came not as ordered so a waste of my money
This is the second time I've used Lensabl for prescription change lenses. The first time was so smooth I didn't hesitate to use them again. However this time it took so much longer, and then the first go around they put a very wrong prescription in the glasses. So I had to return them for a redo. Neither the first nor the redo were trackable on the website. When I would inquire via email it took way too long for definitive answers. I actually began thinking they had lost my glasses. During this entire process there was no offer to compensate me for all the problems, etc.The entire process left me without the glasses for about nine weeks.
This was an easy process and came back very quickly.
I just got my glasses back. I am very happy with them. Charged my account on 3/25- got both pairs I ordered 5/1.
I was referred to lensable thru a third party online where I purchased my frames.
They were very easy to use. They send u a shipping box, and then return them with a nice case and cleaner set (cloth and cleaning spray)
I sent a pair of Stoggles to Lensabl. It took approximately two months to receive them back from Lensabl. I received generic messages to almost all of my inquiries. When they finally arrived, the lenses were cheap and thick, even though my prescription is very weak. They also were incorrect and thus still unwearable. No way would I send them back to Lensabl. I took them to my eye doctor's office and am paying to have the lenses redone by an actual professional.
I sent my frames in mid March, as of today I still have not received my frames with new lenses. The site was not able to propertly collect my Pupillary data so I had to resend it via email. Then I was told there where quality control issues with the lenses but didn't receive that update until I emailed support or logged into the site. This was mid April. Last week I was told they were ready to ship, asked for it to arrive May 3 overnight shipping (which Lensabl comp'd after I asked). I asked for a tracking number TODAY as I still don't have one and have no idea if they are arriving today or not. I have expressed my frustration in how long this is taking through several emails to customer service.
There should have been better oversight in tracking my order, and responses back to me on the status.
I sent in to 2 frames, 3 months ago and to date have only received one as I was informed that their lab broke one of my frames and they needed the information related to where I bought them so they could order another pair. Keep in mind that no one from lensabl ever contacted me to inform me that this occurred, it was only from me reaching out to get an update as to why my frames were taking so long that I ever found out this happened. It has now been over 3 weeks and now I am at my wits end. They only allow you to communicate via email and I have asked for a refund repeatedly and no one is responding, the last response I got was some bs about checking to see when my frames would ship. To say I am furious would be an understatement. My total cost for both frames was over $1000 dollars. So now I am forced to dispute this charge with my credit card company. I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
Great service and perfect frames and lenses returned. Had to wait a bit longer since quality control did not believe the first pair was perfect which I appreciate.
My husband LOVES his Bose prescription sunglasses. I ordered these as a birthday gift and though they were a belated gift, I wouldn't change a thing except to order earlier. HIGH quality product! And the customer service was EXCELLENT! Mark was ALWAYS prompt and professional! I might have canceled my order but Mark's timely, detailed responses elicited patience on my part and it was worth it. Thank you so much!
I returned glasses to you because the progressive correction was set too low forcing me to either bend the nose pads on end to raise the lenses or to uncomfortably tilt my head back when needing progressive correction. You made my prior progressive glasses correctly in terms of prescription so I assumed you were able to do it with a new pair. I wrote to you about this when I returned the current glasses to you but the ones just returned are either the originals or you reground the same errors. The accompanying lenses I originally sent had bifocals, and those had the bifocal prescription set at the right height. You need to correct this.
If something goes wrong with you order ( as happened to me… triple charged) three is no phone contact available to correct. The chats boxes were not sufficient and frustrating. My issue took a very long time to resolve, all while costing my interest on my credit. Also the delay time was exceptionally long. All in all, a poor experience.
I ordered lenses with a gradient tint but there seems to be a lack of gradient compared to another pair I had done a few months ago. Inconsistency is the one complaint. But i feel that's a big one to not get right on these types of items
My experience with this company was amazing minus I didn't get back the case that I mailed the glasses in.
I ordered a pair of stoggles to use in my workshop but I needed the lenses to have my script, per the stoggles site they have a deal with lensabl, so i figured the integration would be fairly seamless. It wasn't. My frames (which are plastic) have visible cracks from where they removed the factory lens to install the prescription ones. The prescription lens they installed have the lensabl logo visible in the corner (not in my line of sight but something someone would notice when they look straight at you) at first i thought my lens was cracked in that area but then looked to see the same marking on the other lens as well. It looks a little tacky.
All in all, they work for my purpose but they do not appear as if they will last long (i fear the lens will pop out fairly easy considering how large the crack in the frame is) glad they are for occasional use and not my every day wear
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.
Answer: They falsely boosted about putting new lenses in existing frames (in a very short turn around like a week) not the 8 months it's been
Answer: Once your frames arrive at our lab, assuming you've provided all required Rx information, lens production is 4-7 business days on average before shipping
Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
Answer: I am having the same experience. Took my money, lost my frames and have done nothing on refund nor damages. I filed with BBB as well. Why are they still in business is a surprise to me?How many more consumers do they need to harm before they are fined and/or shut down?
Answer: All prices are in USD ($) but we do ship to Canada as well :)
Answer: Yes all of our lenses are guaranteed or we will re-make them if any issues once you receive them back. Thanks!
