The glasses that I ordered are not useable. I'm INCREDIBLY disappointed and frustrated. Due to my light sensitivity, I decided to save my money and order a pair of prescription sunglasses. I ordered the top notch everything, and they're not useable. Also, it took an incredibly long time to receive the sunglasses. The interactions with Lensabl was a shame. Customer service isn't difficult. Kind, isn't hard. As I previously stated,

I was quite excited when I found Lensabl because I had a few new designer frames that I purchased without lenses and wanted to place new lenses in them for an affordable price. I ordered two pairs of replacement lenses and shipped in my frames. When they arrived back to me, I was quite unhappy with both pairs. I had ordered anti-reflective (standard with the lenses) plus anti-fog coating (extra cost). What I didn't know was that anti-fog option greatly reduces the anti-reflective qualities because they only coat one side of the lens with anti-reflective. This was noted on the website (I had missed that note, my mistake), but what isn't noted is how much of the anti-reflective properties are actually diminished by only coating one side. Reflection is very visible on my lenses during all my zoom calls from home; my glasses are always reflecting any light source in the room. When I contacted customer service about this, they only offered a 10% off replacement lens option, which makes no sense because their website is offering 35% off if I just start the process over again. It's cheaper to send in the glasses as a whole new pair and get everything done again. The second problem: on one of my pairs of glasses, the lens insertion was completely uneven, with the lens set deeper into the frame on one eye compared to the other eye (my two eyes are the same prescription and lens thickness so the unevenness is extremely noticeable). Quite unhappy with the quality and service I received. Oh, another thing: after I placed the order for my glasses, I routinely went to the lensabl website to check the status of my order online and ensure I was ready when it went out for shipment. At one point, the order status noted that both pairs were done and ready for shipment. Then the order status stayed that way for nearly a week without the glasses actually being shipped to me. I had to contact customer service to actually get the order shipped to me, at which point they shipped it out pretty soon after. But had I not contacted, who knows how long I would've waited for the glasses to be shipped out. In any case, the week after I received my lensabl replacement lenses back, I actually went to the Warby Parker website and ordered three pairs of brand new prescription glasses for less cost and I am much happier with the quality.

Was impressed by the lens options available, the price, and the amount of fitting information collected when compared to other providers. Sent off a set of frames and received them around two weeks later. Lenses were great. No issues at all there, progressive setup for reading was dead on.
Problem was, they damaged my frames in the process. There are two pieces at the top where there's a small guide pin running between the sections sections that create the gap for the lens This was pushed apart on the left side and you can see where the guide pin is now off center so it is pointing diagonally, and pushes the two sections apart so there is now a large gap between them.
I consider this to be a major quality and process issue. I have sent off a support request, but that was last night so have not heard anything back yet. I assume they will ask me to return them, probably at my cost. Or just claim they were like that to begin with. But if that was the case, why didn't they contact me first with the issue so I could contact the company I bought the frames from? I didn't see this prior to sending them, so I am pretty sure this was their issue. I looks as though these are made to allow you to temporarily push the two sections apart for fitting the lens and they just didn't get them back together correctly.
Which makes this more egregious IMO, because I suspect whoever did this knew what they did. And rather than contact me and say, "We've got an issue," they just put them back in the box and sent them hoping I either wouldn't notice or would just let it go by. It's really disappointing that the overall product(the lenses) was compromised by what was a pretty avoidable service issue. I can't imagine a competent installer would not have noticed this. So it's an issue of competency, honesty, or possible both.
I was getting ready to do two more orders with them before I saw this, one for prescription sunglasses and one for readers on the basis of how the lenses turned out. I was that pleased. Now, depending on what support does, not so much. I may just have to go to the local small repair guy who from reviews evidently works magic with reviving mucked up online purchases. In which case I just eat his charge and move on.
I may still use them for the lens options, but it will depend on whether I can just have them make the lenses, not put them in the frames and have this local guy do the actual installation. Since it appears from the reviews he always does everything flawlessly.
So it's like this 2 points for the lenses, 0 for installation, 0 for service, given they obviously tried to sneak it past. I'd probably do 2.5 stars if I could specify portions but given my level of unhappiness at this time I'm grading downward.
Through all my communications I explained it was JUST the right eye. I'm not sure if I paid for both lenses but I received a Right and a Left lens.

I would like to start this review by saying I was over the moon excited when I heard about Lensabl. As someone who wears glasses and contacts, I thought Lensable couldn't be beaten: fast shipping options, quick turnaround, affordable prices. However, after placing my order on April 26th, troubles quickly abound. After about a week and several attempts to get in touch with Lensabl regarding the worrisome timeline I was given, they sent me an email informing me that they couldn't fulfil my contact order. They refused to fulfil an order for Acuvue Oasis 2-week contacts since my optometrist recommended Acuvue Oasis daily contacts. After receiving an email from my optometrist that night and forwarding it to Lensable, it took them 7 days to let me know that they needed an updated RX and that an email from my optometrist would not suffice. I eventually gave up on the contact order due to the lack of communication on Lensabls end and asked for a full refund. Jove granted my request but failed to acknowledge the order on my glasses. I paid for overnight shipping but was later made aware that due to a glitch in the system, they would be shipped via ground shipping. I thought, ok, at least everything will go smoothly from here. But no. After receiving my glasses, I quickly realized why the pricing is so affordable; you really do get what you pay for. The lenses in my glasses simply do not fit. When snapped into place, they pop right back out. Basically lodged into place, with a headache-inducing distortion in the lenses. So, I emailed them yet again. I understand it was Friday, however, being on the East Coast Time, I would assume that the 3 hour time difference would allow them plenty of time to get back to me, either that day or Monday, when they supposedly resume business hours. I am now, sitting at my desk at 12:33 am on May 18th. No emails back from Lensabl, a pair of glasses that make it harder to see, and certainly no contacts.
The whole experience was very quick and easy. The quality product received was exceptional.

Ultimately, there is a smudge on my left lens that does NOT come off no matter how much I try to clean it off—even with glasses cleaner.
I have several pairs of glasses from lensabl, but it had been a couple of years since I'd ordered from them. I had no idea what kind of frustration I was in for when I placed my order. On 4/30/22, I placed my order, uploaded my prescription, and uploaded my segment height photo. As far as I could tell, everything was in order and ready to go. I could see both the prescription and the SH photo as attachments from the order page. I sent my frames and assumed I wouldn't have to do anything else. According to the tracking information, the frames were delivered to lensabl on May 9th. I waited several days, and saw no changes to the order status. I kept seeing the estimated time to shipping as "6 business days."
I contacted customer service to inquire on an ETA. I was told that the holdup was that I had not provided a segment height photo. Which I had indeed uploaded at the time I had placed the order. I saw no errors on the order page, could still see the photo as an attachment on the order page, and had not received any emails or any other communication indicating that the photo was missing or somehow unusable. I informed the customer service rep that I had already uploaded the photo, and he checked on it, and then told me that it was there and it was usable. Ok, so the holdup was...? I was then told that the lab would immediately start work on my glasses, and the shipping would be expedited to make up for their mistake. A week later, the order still has not been shipped, and the status is saying 3 more business days. Which would make it two weeks from arrival to shipping, when they claim 6 business days. I've contacted customer service again, and have yet to receive any helpful information. This will be the last time I order from lensabl. I did everything I was supposed to do, including paying a rather large amount of money, and all I've gotten in return is wasted time and frustration.
Edit: I got a response. They screwed up my lenses and have to start over. So it'll be another week.
Finished product is amazing. Wait time was a little too long for my liking.
