This process took two and a half months. There was minimal communication from the company only to ask for more money. I was extremely dissatisfied with the final product. A little over two hundred dollars down the drain. I will never use this option again nor will I recommend it.
I signed the release but I had no idea my $900 Tom Ford frames (can't replace) would come back ruined. Not only was the bar across completely flattened (you had a picture) but the arms of the frames on both sides that were black are now completely scratched, so scratched they are gray and not black. Really. I can't be more disappointed with my over $400 investment in trusting your company.

At last I found a service that would fill my prescription using my own favorite frame. This frame is a designer, gold-filled frame. Although brand is not listed as OK on website, Customer Reps accepted pics of frame and approved it for placing an order.
I opted going first class with Transitions. Unfamiliar with technical jargon I used item price as indicative of features and quality. Every option offered as addition to basics, was selected.
I am amazed at personal attention rendered by corporate staff during entire production process. This included multiple contacts, including online ‘live' to determine pupil centering. Dispensing accuracy, it appears, is more important than delays resulting from vendor/customer interaction.
Some options selected turned out to be impractical considering high power of my prescription. Staff recommended alternatives, along with pros and cons of such substitution. Eventually, my total order cost exceeded the initial, pre-paid estimate. However, I was not charged for resulting, additional cost.

It is cheaper and faster than the opticians, but there were problems. As far as the lenses, the intermediate segment of the progressives are about 2mm too high. What really prompted me to give it two stars was when I received my glasses yesterday, I opened the box to find my vintage Shuron Ronsir frames very discolored and probably ruined. I have emailed them with pictures and am waiting on a response. I hope to hear from them soon.
Glad that testing is done but it is still not very good. Progressive lenses not adjusted right, have to hold head down to see out of the top of glasses for it not to be blurry, very annoying.

This is my second order of Stoggles lenses. The first order (CR39 lenses) and customer service was perfect. My second order also had great customer service but the item received (Poly lenses) do not fit in my stoggles and one of the lenses has a tiny circle? In the upper right. Trying to get it handled now. Not too worried because, again, customer service has been responsive and helpful!
This is my second order I was very disappointed when received second pair glass dark mirror. Not transition extra active! Which i paid for!, waiting for costumer service to help-me to resolve this issue and provide correct glasses
The frame on my very fragile prescription glasses broke while out of the country, and I needed to have a replacement upon arriving home. The company had my prescription from having previously replaced a lens, so was able to proceed with my order. A few days later I was advised that quality control had found a problem, and that the order would be re-done. I didn't know how long that would take, but I received my new glasses two days after I arrived back home. I appreciate that the company was honest about a problem, and that the service is expeditious. I rate the company 3 stars since I would have liked to have had a larger selection of frames. Also, the frames I ordered do not sit correctly on my head, which I realize is a problem one can encounter when the purchase is on-line and doesn't include fitting/adjustment services. They will serve well as back-up glasses after obtaining new glasses after my next eye exam.
The online order is easy, but I find that the order takes way too long to arrive. I've also had problems with the way I see it through the lenses. In that case they should be redone at no cost to me.
GREAT-had a strange circle appear on my lenses contacted them was quickly sent a return label and with in about 2 weeks I got back? New lenses? Or recoated--all fine.
My glasses order had to be re-done twice because of filling my prescription incorrectly. My order was not completed timely - I was told this was because of COVID issues. When I finally did receive my glasses, one of the lenses had a small smudge which I assume was due to incomplete polishing, and one lens has a small crack which likely will grow over time. The glasses are still usable, so due to prior frustrations, I did not return the glasses for correction. I would never, ever, recommend Lensabl, and I will never due buSiness with them again. I there was a zero star rating, that would be mine.
I finally received my glasses after learning they had to be done over. The left eye prescription is perfect but the right is off. I can see at a distance but the multifocal for close up reading is completely off. I feel dizzy when I put the glasses on. I chose Lensable because I used them previously. However, this time is disappointing. I may need to take them to my eye doctor to fix. I would appreciate a refund.

I had an extremely frustrating experience. Turnaround time was very slow. I did not receive response to emails sent about the lenses not having proper PD. Had to contact on 3 different occasions. Did not receive emails on the process. Overall not sure I would use again.
Answer: I was not so lucky and have had a horrible experience withLensabl. After two months I'm still waiting for progressive lenses that cost over $600 and Neither my frames nor the lenses I ordered are back to me. Next time I will use a local eyewear store.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
