The glasses that I ordered are not useable. I'm INCREDIBLY disappointed and frustrated. Due to my light sensitivity, I decided to save my money and order a pair of prescription sunglasses. I ordered the top notch everything, and they're not useable. Also, it took an incredibly long time to receive the sunglasses. The interactions with Lensabl was a shame. I am so happy I used Lensabl - I have lots of frames and don't need new glasses, just new lenses, so Lensabl is perfect for me! The shipping was super easy and quick, and both pairs I sent in came back in perfect condition, with upgraded blue light filtering lenses. I really appreciated how simple it was to send photos for the Lensabl team to calculate pupillary distance, and to upload prescriptions. The only thing I didn't love about Lensabl was their website, which wasn't particularly user friendly for people sending in multiple pairs of glasses (it was basically impossible to keep track of which frames were going with which lens choices - it would have been helpful to have a space to put in a name or brief description of the frames so that you could easily tell which pair you're working with). I ended up deciding to pay extra for the blue light filter for both sets of lenses just because I couldn't tell which frame was which, and I really wanted one to have those lenses and didn't want them to be mixed up. Other than the clunky website, though, Lensabl is great and I will DEFINITELY be using their service again to upgrade the lenses in my other favorite frames.

I hate to admit it, but I'm super picky about eyewear—the fashion aspect of it, as well as wanting to get the best product. I depend on my vision for my profession, and I like getting the best stuff that I can afford.
I got the new spendy icberlin frames I liked for a fraction of retail from eBay, and I wanted all the options for my lenses, so I tried Lensabl. I chose Lensabl over their competitors because of the design of their website; I thought they did a good job of making the process simple and easy. You can monitor the progress of your lenses using their order tracker. Also, their packaging and overall branding is friendly and well-done. Their customer service has been responsive and helpful.
About a month later (this is written as we are in the middle of a pandemic) I received my completed glasses; they look and function amazing. The options I chose added to the time it takes to complete them—and that's the main thing you have to keep in mind when using a service like Lensabl—it helps immensely if you know a bit about what is involved in making lenses, as well as how certain options you choose can greatly affect how long it takes to make them. I would recommend this service only if you have another pair of eyeglasses to use while the new ones are being fabricated. Also, if you need an emergency lens replacement service, Lensabl may not be the fastest option.
I'm super happy with the lenses and services that Lensabl provided. If you choose to use Lensabl, just remember to manage your expectations. Lensabl's lab(s) are the big, high-end kind that the opticians use, so the quality is going to be great, but the process of fabrication, coating, and edging lenses is complex and time consuming—plus if they don't pass quality control they will have to go through the whole thing again.
It's nice to have an option like Lensabl. I think they did an awesome job. I'm going to use them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone who is super picky about eyewear like I am. Just keep all the things I wrote about in mind.

We placed an order with Lensabl for new lenses for my husband using frames that we had purchased elsewhere online. The order was for lined bifocal lenses. Followed all procedures including multiple photos to determine PD. The frames we had sent in arrived with the new lenses about a month after the initial order was placed. When my husband put them on, he discovered that when he looked straight ahead he was looking through the reading portion. A local optical business told us that the lenses must have been produced in lined bifocal lenses in the process or configuration for progressive bifocal lenses. We had not intentionally or inadvertently ordered progressive bifocal lenses. I immediately contacted the company rep Mark in several emails thinking that a speedy resolution was possible but requested a refund when I realized the unacceptable timeliness. But Mark insisted that new lenses be produced. When I explained that we did not have another month, needed to have lenses made locally, and would not send frames back, he ignored me. We went to Sam's Club in Longview, TX 2 days later as they were closed on Monday. Submitted the prescription and frame. Order was placed and the frames came back with new lenses in less than a week. My husband is thrilled. As we had no other option regarding Lensable, we took the lenses they had produced, and sent them back in the box they had sent. I just received an email that the new lenses were delivered to our house in TX more than 2 months after the original order placed and while we are in Colorado preparing to return to Texas after my husband's appointment with his retina specialist! ZERO stars to Lensabl for the lenses produced, the length of time required for the entire process, and for being unwilling to refund the cost to retired people on a limited income with significant need for good service!
I'm amazed Lensabl had the gall to even ask for my review considering what they put me through. It took them 3 tries and almost 3 months to get me the lenses I ordered. The first try took weeks and were made so incorrectly that I it gave me horrendous headaches and I had to pay out-of-pocket to see an optometrist who figured out that one of the lenses was CUT UPSIDE DOWN! The 2nd try had visible defects in the lenses despite them again taking weeks and claiming the lenses passed their rigorous quality check (yeah, right). They finally got it right on the 3rd try but almost 3 months after my original order date. Throughout the entire process they were horrible about giving me updates on my order. The progress checker on their website never worked properly, and they didn't even bother putting up a checker for the 2nd re-do. Customer service was atrocious. When I gave them a horrible review on TrustPilot (at their request after I had to send the glasses back the 1st time) they responded saying they would "take full responsibility" for their mistake but when I requested multiple times that they reimburse me for my out-of-pocket cost to have the optometrist diagnose their faulty lenses they just ignored me (I sent them a copy of my receipt). I've purchased replacement lenses from other online vendors in the past and this was by far the worst lens replacement experience I've ever had in my life. I had decided to purchase from Lensabl because they had a large selection of lens types and coatings and I found a nice coupon code, but if I knew what would happen with my order, I absolutely would have gone with another company. No amount of savings was worth what Lensabl put me through! STAY AWAY!
