The glasses that I ordered are not useable. I'm INCREDIBLY disappointed and frustrated. Due to my light sensitivity, I decided to save my money and order a pair of prescription sunglasses. I ordered the top notch everything, and they're not useable. Also, it took an incredibly long time to receive the sunglasses. The interactions with Lensabl was a shame. Customer service isn't difficult. Kind, isn't hard. As I previously stated,

This is my second time trying to get progressives that work from lensabl and unfortunately the lens just aren't right.
My progressive lenses weren't right the first time, but perfect after I sent them back and had you try again. Very happy with these.
Reasons Lensable is terrible: 1. Impossible to contact customer service. 2. It took forever and they lied about why. 3. The lenses are not great.
Original Review: Contacted customer service through the website messaging service to verify that new lenses could be made for my Oakley frames, received a quick and professional response, great! Selected lenses and option need through the site's easy to use order page for the specific lenses I wanted, added express shipping, submitted and paid, great! (did not receive an invoice through email, didn't think much about it at the time through) Received a prepaid box to ship my glasses in, great! Waited approx. 2 weeks to receive my glasses and when I open the package immediately I notice the lenses are sunglasses, not transitions which I ordered, not great! Not sure how this company can get my order wrong when the product selection process is very specific but it did but I've wasted at least 2 weeks plus the time it takes to get new lenses from this company or someone else. I feel it would have been better to get my lenses from a local optometrist.
Edit: After receiving the first wrong order Lensabl's customer service arranged express shipping to pick of my glasses for a refit. Waiting about 10 days I received my redone lens package via UPS opened the box and it was THE SAME EXACT PRODUCT THAT WAS WRONG IN THE FIRST SHIPMENT! Dealing with c/s for a few days via chat and specifically asking to receive a call (there is no listed phone number you can call to speak to a someone at this company) someone from the company's customer service called me and he discussed the issues with me. I stated I would like a refund and he offered that or to redo my order again. I opted for a refund and received soon after that. I really liked this companies ordering process, but customer service beyond chat and email should be an option when mistakes like this are made (especially for a product like Rx glasses).

I placed an order to have new prescription lenses placed on some frames I own. I shipped the frames and provided a copy of my prescription online (Order *******). I placed my order on Nov 4th and it wasn't until Nov 24th when I contacted a rep for a follow-up on my order that I was made aware that my order was awaiting PD measurements - which was frustrating in of itself. When I went back and looked at my confirmation e-mail I realized the request for PD measurements was indeed requested there, but you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the email to see it. When I first received the email I took a quick glance at my address and payment amount and moved on. If these measurements are needed then that should be listed near the top where it's clear to see. Nonetheless, I supplied these measurements by sending a photo the very same day. For the next several days I kept checking on my order status online only to find the same generic message of "6 days before your item is shipped". After a few back and forth e-mails with a rep, I was finally given a link for tracking the package but the link was broken. In the end, I was very pleased with the finished product but it took over a month for the glasses to arrive after I mailed them out! I wanted these glasses for Christmas photos my family and I were taking together which is why I sent the glasses so early. Because of the incredible delay, I was unable to use these frames for my photos which was extremely disappointing. Again, the quality of work was very good, but had I known how long the wait would have been - not to mention the terrible communication - I would have gone with a different company.
Sent in my old glasses. Took a couple of photos, did it all online. And NOW I have a cool pair of reading glasses in the frame that I LOVE

I ordered their Oakley Gascans with custom lenses. I received them, was not satisfied with how they looked, and wanted to send them back for what I thought would be a full refund on the frames and a full refund minus a 25% restocking fee on the lenses. Not a problem with me, I knew this before ordering. They then informed me that they would only be refunding the frames and would give me a 25% discount on lenses if I purchased a new set from them (giving me $0 back on the lenses I had already ordered). This policy can only be found in the "Bose Eyewear" section of their return policy, notably not the brand of glasses I purchased. They were very unwilling to work with me and even more unwilling to listen to my complaint that that was unclear on their return website. If that's their policy, it should say it more clearly somewhere. Their brand is misleadingly called "Everyday Eyewear" which is the return policy I had been looking at. There is no "Oakley Eyewear" section on their return page. Not only would customer service not work with me, they actively tried to tell me that I was in the wrong, basically calling me an idiot, and that I could've contacted customer service before ordering or looked at their FAQ (which is on a completely different website mind you). I had no reason to believe I needed to contact customer service before ordering, because I was under the impression that I understood their return policy. If this is their return policy, it should be included on the RETURN POLICY PAGE. They weren't even willing to take that feedback into account to make the return policy more understandable for other future customers. Incredibly frustrating experience with a company that clearly does not care about their customers. I will not be ordering from them again.

Know their return policy back and forth before ordering. They clearly don't want you to understand it because they make it so difficult.

Very pleased
I've ordered both bifocals and progressives from Lensabl, each time sending in my own frames. My first experience was with the bifocals, receiving them with the reader portion way too high. However they corrected the issue quickly and I was quite satisfied.
My second experience however was absolutely awful. I sent in a high end frame (Anne Et Valentin) along with all my measurements.
After at least four weeks with no update from them, I emailed asking about status. They then informed me that my frame broke during placement of the new lenses, and did tell me they'd pay for a replacement and asked me to send a link. I told them the brand and price and that my frame had been discontinued.
After their okay I went to the eyewear shop that carries the brand and selected a new pair, at which point had my measurements taken and the lenses marked for PD (pupillary distance.)
I emailed Lensabl again, telling them the name of the shop and of the manager, who was holding them until Lensabl contacted them.
After over another month, Lensabl finally sent me an email to confirm they'd ordered my frame and that it was on 6-8 week backorder, from a discount supplier. I finally CALLED, letting them know I had chosen the frame and had it marked specifically for me, and that it was available IMMEDIATELY. I should've called at the beginning of this whole ordeal. After another month I emailed asking for an update, and they replied that my frame was on the way.
The prescription was INCORRECT, after FOUR MONTHS with the situation in their hands.
I chose to go ahead and get them filled at my own optical shop. I realize I should've had them cover it since they'd filled it incorrectly, but at this point was fed up and decided not to pursue it any further.
I suggest that no one order from them except MAYBE for a single vision lens.

I initially sent my frame to have my lenses made. They asked for a prescription which I uploaded and then they asked me upload a picture so they could get my PD. Up to this point everything was ok. Then I started seeing issues with the follow up of my lenses, the website that has some sort of progress bar in which it shows the progress your lenses are going through did not work (ever). Then one day I received my glasses. Everything looked fine until I tried using them and there I realized what did not come as s surprise... my PD was wrong. I could not see through my glasses.
I contacted Lensabl over the Chat and they quickly told me to send them back (overnight) which was good and I provided them with the PD that I have from my local optician.
I was tracking my frame and UPS delivered the next day as expected... then a week went by, then another, then another... I contacted them and they told me that the frame was in the shop that it was just a matter of days... then another week. And then I contacted them again and they told me what I long suspected... they lost my glasses. So then I had to wait for them to find my $285 frame wherever they had it available and they sent it.
Now they are fine, but considering how long it took for me to get my glasses (well the new pair because they lost the original) I don't think it's worth it. This is not a fashion item, this is an item I needed to be able to work, drive and live in general.
I had to go to my local shop and pick another set while I waited for the resolution in this case, since I use progressive lenses and I cannot just go to CVS and get a pair of cheapos.
It was a bad experience for me.
It felt like this business is ran from someone'e apartment and they send the lenses to a lab. Like they just have a website and that is it.
Even though they "solved" the issue after a month and change first they told me that "of course the lab did not loose my glasses" ... which they did. When I called the gentleman was all about wait wait and wait and seriously... for how long should a customer wait?
When my final product arrived never was I contacted to let me know that the glasses were ready, shipping or nothing. Basically if I didn't have MyUPS I wouldn't have known my glasses were coming on that day.
