The glasses turned out fine but it took nearly 7 weeks for them to send them, with zero communication on their part, and only extremely vague excuses when I questioned them.
Needed some protective lenses for work, and bifocals because, well, old. Took quite a while to get everything back from Lensabl with an apparent delay for a failed QI. Finally got them back today and I'm not as happy with them as I'd like. Lenses are wonderfully clear but bifocals are too small and low, making them useful only if I look down my nose at things. To be fair, if I recall correctly there are options about placement of the magnified areas but these are so off that they simply shouldn't be offered.
I can't say it was cheaper than any other online framing service, but they did do high index (1.74) for sunglasses, which not many do. The sunglasses look super weird with the thick lenses protruding from the frames, but that is life, I guess. I paid for gradient but my glasses were definitely solid tinted. Hoping for a refund but customer service has been slow to respond.

Took way too long! When the sunglasses came back - clearly noticeable that the lenses are not original. One lens is thicker than the other. Edges are coarse uneven and seem chipped in places. Horrible! For $200 JUST for the lenses one would expect near perfection!
I have used a previous company in the past and that service was excellent. Apparently something happened with that company so I was happy to see that Lensabl was available. I suppose the time of year and the pandemic had a huge effect on my experience. I ordered my glasses in early December and finally received them on Feb 10... So a little over 2 months for what I was expecting to be a few weeks at most. Along the way, my original glasses were broken in the lab. Lensabl ordered the exact replacement. As a young company and during a global pandemic, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I was a little disappointed that when I finally received my glasses, the bridge was twisted and the left temple was not attached tightly - it was loose by about 2mm which with glasses is very noticeable. The lenses did look great. I am hoping that it had all of the coatings that I ordered on it. I expect that if you give them a try, you shouldn't have as trying at time as I did. Personally - I may just go to Lenscrafters next time I want to replace my lenses. But who knows.

The anti fog features really works unlike my other glasses that says anti fog but still fogs up especially when I wear mask. I also love the transition lense. Your customer service is great too. I highly recommend this company. Already had 2 glasses from them and will order again in the future.
I am so glad that you were able to upgrade my most favorite pair of frames with my current RX. Albeit much pricier than a new pair of frames with all new lenses, I am glad to keep a pair of glasses out of the landfill (for a few more years at least). What happens when you need to replace an already replaced pair of lenses? No stress with shipping,*use your own box for a shorter shipping time!* Received a really cool case too, kinda bummed I missed out on a cleaning kit like some others that only left a 4 star review. Very pleased overall, I have recommended to a few friends.
Ordered end of December. In early January note received that the frame was there. On line for 6 weeks it said anticipated shipping 5-7 days. In reality took until 2/16/2021 for it to be received. Nonetheless the results were good and I am pleased with the product.
The glasses are fine and functional, but the color changed completely from the frames I sent. There is an obvious line of where they were cut to remove the lenses and replace them. The frames also don't fit my face anymore so I will have to take them to be adjusted. I really wasn't expecting to send in purple toned frames and receive brown/pink frames in return. They sent them very lovingly and the shipping/ordering/receiving part of the experience was excellent-the final product just isn't worth it to me.
I just (finally!) received my frames back and they look great - significantly better than they did before, and not just because they replaced the lenses. They feel like they were tenderly cared for and restored almost - so I am SUPER pleased with that. Also including them sent back in a proper case and with a complimentary cleaning kit - classy touch.
I did experience stress with shipping on receiving the box to ship my frames in and on getting them back to me - be ye warned - turnaround time is longer than projected!
Lensabl was very committed to making sure my progressive lens was accurately made. The company did such an amazing job that I didn't have to take time to adjust to my new glasses. I also had reading glasses and distance glasses made and I am so happy with all of them.
Ordered glasses the morning of January 28, was given a "6 business days" delivery message on the website. Farther down the page was a notification that one of the features I ordered (anti fog coating) would take another week. OK, 13 business days, no problem. And the glasses arrived 13 business days later on February 16. But the website continued to state "6 business days" through February 15. Perhaps you might consider just putting an estimated delivery date instead.
That said, the glasses were worth the wait. Fit, finish, coatings are all perfect. The ordering process was smooth. Well done.
This is the first time I have ever ordered any eyeglasses through the Internet. It was generous of Lensabl to send me a box to ship my frames to them. I received my order a few days ahead of when I expected... Nice. The next time I need to get a new prescription filled, I will order from Lensabl. Also, it was nice that I received a new eyeglasses holder, eyeglass spray cleaner, and a cleaning cloth.
I got my glasses back today. They exceeded my expectations. They are perfect! Would highly recommend anyone to use this company
I had a set of readers from the early 2000s that were just hanging around. Decided to send them in. While there was some "issue" in the final inspection that delayed their return to me, I was notified.

I was very excited for my prescription Bose sunglasses. I ordered them January 13 and finally received them February 17 which was very frustrating. More frustrating is they're not sunglasses they just sent them as a regular glasses without the transition lenses.

I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
