This company will lie cheat intimidade or anything else they can do to get some more medicare money. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FROM THEM! They should be investigated for fraud and closed down. I can't get them to leave me alone or take their stupid device out of my house. I am looking for a lawyer now and have already reported them to Medicare. You should do the same if they are harassing you!

No customer service
September 25, 2020

To make an extremely long story short, my husband had a sleep study done in July of 2020 and here we are almost to October and no CPAP supplies. Lincare is blaming the Sleep Center and the Sleep Center is blaming Lincare meanwhile my husband is the one that is suffering. Beyond frustrating, completely unacceptable and absolutely zero customer service.

Horrible customer service
December 27, 2022

Firstly avoid this company if possible. If you've had the same bad treatment that I have received please REPORT THEM TO YOUR DR'S AND THE INSURANCE PROVIDERs.They don't deserve contracts and referrals with these connections.I've had a bipap machine for 5 months now that I cannot use. Lincare will deny they have doctors rx to change pressure put you on hold for 30 min pick up take your personal info put you back on hold for 5 min, then disconnect and never return the call.

This company is absolutely HORRIBLE! I have never been treated so bad by everyone there. They will also rip you off. The manager at the Salem, Oregon location acted like she had a personal vendetta against me. She lied to her superiors and my insurance about me and treated me like I was a total piece of crap. This woman has no business being a manager as she is insane and a pathetic liar. You would think a company like this would want to do anything they can to help you breath and be a comfort. I just decided to give up and get out. If I die in my sleep, oh well... no one cares. Now I am stuck with a bill that I should not be paying. I set up a payment plan 2 months ago and they are still sending me threatening letters telling me to pay or, set up a payment plan. They say they will report me to a collection agency in 10 days. I called and told them I set up a payment plan 2 months ago and only have 4 payments left. They said they will keep sending me threats until it's paid off. Can you believe this place? You should hear my entire nightmare but, that would take too long. I have a serious issue with liars and rude people. I detest those types. So, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place unless you like being treated like that.

They over charged me and after repeated calls to Customer Service to resolve, they can't pull their heads out of their asses to fix. Sent them the back-up documentation TWICE showing I paid and they still haven't fixed. They will scam you and your insurance company with double billing and then send threatening letters in an attempt to collect WHAT THEY ARE NOT DUE!

The Springfield Ohio Lincare staff could not give a crap if you need oxygen supplies, ASAP. I asked them how long it would take for a patient in respiratory distress to receive oxygen. They told me maybe a day or two. Really?! The staff are rude and incompetent. SHAME ON YOU LINCARE FOR HIRING DISGUSTING PEOPLE WHO DON'T CARE ABOUT PATIENTS' NEEDS! MAYBE ONE DAY ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES AT LINCARE WILL BE IN NEED OF OXYGEN AND WON'T GET IT DELIVERED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

This company is actually owned and operated by Lincare. I do not recommend Lincare. I'd look for another provider immediately! I've dealt with this company for years. Very seldom have there been good experiences. The good only comes from a handful of employees that have the best intentions. Unfortunately, corporate will still do what they want, even at the cost of patient care. Most of the time, there are supply issues. However, my biggest complaint is the oxygen service is horrible. Roosevelt and Derrick are wonderful, but the rest of the delivery drivers have poor people skills and they really don't want to do the job. Heaven forbid, trying to get oxygen on the weekend. Its like pulling teeth to get a delivery.

My recent complaint is that this company will let the patient go without oxygen, period! We're currently dealing with a weather event that creates a great deal of problems with oxygen delivery. That's understandable, but this company doesn't take any precautions before a winter storm to avoid service issues. Heaven forbid, there is a winter storm, this company will tell you your out of luck. The service manager, point blank told me that oxygen delivery isn't their problem and the patient can do without or find some other way to get the oxygen. If that's the case, why does this company provide a medically necessary service?

Go somewhere else or deal with the nightmare.

Poor Customer Service
October 26, 2022

I have had a CPAP machine for approximately 5 months. The customer service at the local office has poor service. The rep failed to return your calls, the office has failed to return your calls. The machine is causing my front teeth gums are receding. In seeing my dentist, it was stated that my CPAP mask is too small and causing the gums to be recedes because the mask is too small and rubbing on my mouth. When calling the office to get a larger mask, the office reception person was so rude and said if I got another mask, I would have to pay because I have not had use for 6 months. I told her that I would pay, but I would never use the machine for 6 months if I could not use the mask. She was supposed to get back with me about the cost and how to get the new mask. Needless to say - NO ONCE CALLED ME BACK. As I have asphasia, my husband called the company that sends the equipment and they will send to me. Poor Customer Service at the local office unit.

My mother passed away, and we realized that we still had a small portable oxygen tank here that belonged to Lincare. Granted, she died a couple of years ago, but nonetheless, when we came across it, I called them. When she was alive, we were happy with them. Occasionally we had to call more than one time, but everyone was friendly and she loved the delivery man.
Today I called the number on the tank for Lincare. No answer at all,, not even a recording. Then I called a "866" number. I received (by a recording) no less than 5 "free" offers for road service, shopping sprees, etc. Frustrating beyond belief. Especially when it is an older person calling, they probably sign up for all of it! And I'm sure there is a catch.
I went online and found an "I Care" number. I was on hold for 10 minutes. I told the girl about the tank. After her checking things out on the computer, she could not find my mother's name (which she said should have still been in their system.) Then she asked me if I could drive it down to San Antonio. I told her I would really rather that they come get it. San Antonio is a nightmare to drive in.
She said they will call me to make arrangements. I will have to wait and see.
What should have been a 10 minute call has taken away 1/2 hour of my time and caused frustration!

I am a direct customer of Lincare for CPAP. I was sent to this company by NOVANT HEALTHCARE. I received an unsolicited text message from LINCARE urging me to enroll in their auto-replenishment program for a list of CPAP supplies. When I called this "800" number no one would tell me the total or individual costs of these items. This was important information because my insurance plan has a deductible. This would make me responsible for the cost of the products. I spoke to 6 people and all refused to give me the requested information. I fail to understand why some of these supplies would have to be replaced every 90-days. I believe LINCARE is allegedly guilty of insurance fraud and hides behind their Terms of Service.

Auto shipment
January 1, 2024

Lincare has been the worse company that I have had to deal with on trying to get hold of someone and also trying to stop shipping supplies, I have called my doctor, insurance company and of course lincare but to no avail. Lincare is very difficult and will lie to you about everything. I have asked for return shipment labels and they just said that is a different department and will get back to me. Of course nothing. Now they are sending me to a collection agency after having told me they would have the shipping department call me. What ever you do, avoid getting into bed with Lincare because they will find anyway at all to keep shipping unwanted supplies. I even had to go to my local office 3 times before they would even close my account and that took approx. 4 months, meanwhile supplies kept coming because I was not allowed to stop shipment. They told me that the doctor and insurance said they could. So you as the patient and customer have no rights as far as this company is concerned. They are not worried about your health only your money. In case someone wonders, they even said they would record our conversations. Rating of this company is below even a 1 star.

I wanted to comment on how well I was treated at the LinCare Newnan, GA, location today. Despite dropping in without an appointment, Tscharner McCraw was able to fit me in between her appointments and download my CPAP machine information for me to obtain supplies. She was very professional, kind, and respectful. I appreciate all she did for me today! Very good experience! Nancy Capponi

My doctor sent a prescription to Lincare for a nebulizer. After a few days I contacted Lincare to find out when I would receive it. They told me they had to get approval from my insurance company. I waited a few more days and called back. I was told the same thing. The 3rd time I checked I was told they never received it in spite of the fact they'd had it earlier in the week. So I filed a complaint and this smart mouthed man called and insinuated I was a demented old lady. Then he wanted the name of my doctor so I told him. He responded that he'd never heard of her and was I even sure she was a REAL doctor. I couldn't believe it. I have not heard anything back from them and that's fine with me. They don't deserve my business.

My Mom has a portable oxygen tank. She was double-billed several times. We inquired about getting her a POC and they said she had to have an account for two months so they could make sure Medicare and she paid the total bill She did! When questioned again they said an account was needed for four months. After several months of getting my doctor to provide a prescription for the portable oxygen concentrator, Lincare said they would deliver it to us within 12 weeks. Two months later than that timeframe we haven't seen the POC yet. Three calls and a written inquiry resulted in no contact. When I finally found a manager she said she would call back. Nope! Two weeks later I called the same person and again was told she was checking on it and would call back. That was five days ago. My only alternative is to purchase a POC and forget Lincare. I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Given that they are handling seniors with respiratory problems makes it even worse. I would not recommend using any of their services.

I disputed some charges after receiving terrible customer service and returning their equipment. I received phone calls from them, obnoxious people who did not want to hear of the problems I encountered, they only wanted me to pay. I finally wrote a letter to the CEO detailing My horrendous experiences with staff. I stated that I wanted to make her aware of how poorly her representatives communicate and how little they cared. As with the lower representatives, I never received a response from CEO's office and apparently it was never referred to anyone else- as they continued to ignore my letters which stated that the amounts billed I disputed and someone needed to call me. Instead they sent threatening letters regarding non-payment. I sent the CEO two letters and sent another to a different high level person-- no one I ever reached out to me. They were consistent, they lost the order for equipment to start, from that point their incompetence and lack of ability to effectively deal with a customer issue makes them one of the worst run outfits I have ever dealt with. Mistakes happen but usually you can find a voice of reason-- not with this group. No one cares their and I'm afraid that is the cultural problem with the organization. Totally unacceptable.
