Some people are familiar with the idea of health care and its caring properties. Let me tell you, this company has no earthly idea what care or health means. My husband has been waiting for an appliance for his severe sleep apnea, a critical condition for ONE and ONE HALF YEARS. I actually fear for his life. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, EVER. My next step is to report them to the Medical Board of our state.

This is the worst bunch of charlatans, lazy liars and con artists I have come across in all my 89 years. They delivered a defective monitor of blood coagulation to me and have since refused to take it back, even though I did what they told me to do to determine whether it is defective or not. (I went to Columbia Heart Hospital (Prism) and had blood taken from my arm and the resultant coagulation time compared to their monitor (the comparison was supervised by Molly, the pharmacist at the hospital) and the results were drastically different, with the result from the Lincare monitor being clearly wrong.) I called Lincare every day for over 2 weeks since then to have someone pick it up. I did not want a replacement since by that time I had no confidence in the company. (The person they sent initially to help me learn how to use it did not himself know how to use it.) All I wanted was for them to pick it up, as I was disgusted with them. (My intention was to go to the hospital each month and have the test done there rather than to deal with Lincare.) For over 2 weeks they gave me a run around, making promises and not fulfilling them. I never was able to speak to the same person twice, (when I could get a person to speak to) and with each new person I had to explain the matter over again. Each new person would make promises that would evaporate into nothing. In the meantime the company was pulling dollars from my insurance company.

I was originally a client of American Home Patient. Apparently Lincare bought them, but did not notify existing customers that this ownership change was going to take place, creating a lot of issues, to the point where now I am being harassed by Lincare.

Bottom line is Lincare is a terrible company to deal with. They are underhanded and unethical in their business practices. I never chose to do business with this company and should have been afforded the decency of being able to decide if i wanted to continue with them or pay my account in full prior to the change of ownership. This NEVER happened, i just started receiving two invoices every month with no explanation. Since I knew i never did business with Lincare, i was disregarding their invoices and only paying American Home Patient as I did chose to do business with them.

They are now constantly calling my home with dumb $#*! robo calls. Avoid this company at all costs and take your business to a reputable business that has some integrity.

Call Nov 5th my dads oxygen concentrator would not keep a charge they did not come out until Nov. 26 it is Jan. 8th and he still does not have one that works!

After the company received a doctors referral for oxygen on Monday, it still hadn't been delivered by Friday. When called to ask about it, got hung up on TWICE after waiting a half hour. Finally went into the office—they promised delivery the next day but never showed. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company!

Call the office the Waukesha area. Phone calls are never returned.

I strongly suggest staying away from this company.

Having 5 years of experience with this company, I am well qualified to give my appraisal as the most unprofessional, unorganized, mismanaged (or possibly un-managed) company providing health-care equipment I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. And yes, they are VERY rude. They don't return calls, nor forward service calls to a technician. They have high turn-over, fly-by-night staff with the phone etiquette of a crack addict. I requested the pick-up of THEIR equipment, since my dad recently passed and asked them for a time or a phone call so we could meet them at the residence. The girl on the phone said they couldn't do that since the technician "would have to pull off the road and turn his engine off in order to make a phone call to us." Imagine that. I received neither a phone call, day or time.
I called and asked to speak to a supervisor 4 days ago and was told they were all on the phone, but said they would call once one was available. Of course I'll never get a call, as usual. Now i'll just put their equipment out on the street. If they care enough to pick it up, we'll see. I doubt it.
I cannot believe healthcare providers/insurers even list this company as an approved medical supplier.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

This company has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with I have had repeated issues with over billing unauthorized charges to my Visa account which this month has now caused my account to be overdrawn which is going to result in charges to me when I contact the billing inquiries number on my bill I'm placed on hold for 30 to 40 minutes without ever getting through to anyone I finally had to contact the patient advocate number that's online for assistance and hopefully they'll be able to resolve it for me but this should not happen please I urge everyone to read this company's reviews before you contact them for service I wish I had

My wife tried patiently over the past 3 weeks with Lin"care" to try to get her 97 year old dad's bipap mask replaced. The local Chantilly Virginia office wouldn't help her whatsoever and kept asking for more and more information. They made one excuse after another and when my wife complained about the terrible "service", there was laughter over the other end of the phone. Meanwhile her dad is dying of heart failure and needs the bipap machine to oxygenate his body. Lin"care" could care less. They should not be in business and all the managers that we escalated our complaints to continued to provide excuses with no action. We will go elsewhere and I would advise others to do the same if they're to help their loved ones. There is a strong reason for their consistently poor overall ratings (about 1). They should change their name to LESSCARE or WEDON'TCARE. They are the worst.

WON'T LET ME GIVE NEW REVIEW SO I'LL EDIT THIS ONE! Now my mom is on hospice. Same guy ALAN came with out calling knocked on door an told my wife he talked to me ( never got a call) he picked up oxygen tanks and left with our WONDERFUL hospice nurse there. My wife called and asked if he called I said no! I called the Osage Beach office. The lady says sorry must be some confusion, I'm sure ALAN meant to call. I raise a big enough fuse she says she'll have a supervisor call. Long story short I received a call from the supervisor and ALAN. I believe ALAN LIED! And the supervisor just tried to console me to appease me! No policy will change with this company! ALAN WALKED IN OUR HOME WITHOUT PERMISSION AND SHOWED UP SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT A PHONE CALL! I guess it's time for ALAN to get a criminal trespassing charge! Let's see if this will help him call before showing up without permission!

HORRIBLE, LEFT MY MOTHER WITHOUT OXYGEN! LOUISE KEPT TELLING HER THEY WERE ON THERE WAY…. THEY WERE NEVER SENT OUT! LEFT HER WITH A BROKEN OXYGEN TANK. THEY DO NOT RETURN CALLS…. LOUISE LIES RIGHT TO YOUR FACE. YOU CALL FOR SUPPLIES…. THEY DO NOT SEND THEM…BEWARE! USE DIFFERENT COMPANY!

Absolutely ATROCIOUS customer service! TRY to get them to pick up, or service their equipment once they deliver more than enough apparatus to provide oxygen to an entire hospital. I had to call Medicare and do a three-way call with them, but even then, they promised to pick-up, and never showed up! Dawn at Lincare in Cherry Valley, MA is a rude, (fill in the blank here). Hey, Dawn? Tell your boss that Medicare told me to call them back if you didn't pick up, because they are not paying any more bills from you for my equipment... =p phhht. And people? If you have an issue with Lincare, try calling Medicare - Medicare is more than happy to get involved if you have an issue like mine with this crappy company! And if you have any questions with regard to my issue, please feel free to contact me - of all companies I've dealt with LINCARE IN CHERRY VALLEY, MASSACHUSETTS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! AVOID LINCARE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Incompetent

Lincare sent me a bill on Jan 8. This was over 3 months after I got the CPAP machine (in August) they had not yet submitted this to insurance. I called them and was told that they needed info from my Doctor so the cpap/humidifier could be billed correctly to insurance. I told them that they had all the info they needed to do this as I had to give them this info before they even allowed to pick up my machine in August. I then asked them If they needed more info why did they not try to contact me? No answer for this very easy question! This was what the billing office was telling me. They referred me to the local office where I picked up the machine and Steve at the local office in Omaha told me that billing had everything they needed to submit to insurance. Steve said he would take care of this and make sure that billing got their info. He has not idea why they would tell me this. They also want to rent me the machine. I told them that I wished them to submit this to insurance as a purchase. Based upon my past experience with Lincare I do not hold out much hope that this will be taken care of. They never return phone calls and you are always on hold for at least 20 minutes. The above issue resulted in me being on the phone with them for over 1 hour. Most of this time was being on hold. Needless to say they will not get a penny from me until this gets fixed!
