I am a nursing student who made the mistake of signing up for a trial period, costing me a little over $4.00. They have began to take $39.80 out of my account monthly, even though I have emailed billing and complained about these false charges. Stay away from this company! Their "live chat" never responded and I did not hear back from them after e-mailing several times.

The job description templates provided to us could be worded better with higher vocabulary. Also a system that could recognize repeated phrases or words to avoid redundancy and make suggestions that will help you dense and consolidate your resume to one page. That's honestly been my biggest issues and this website could possibly be someone's number one stop if these supportive measures were added.

I was able to build a good resume. That being said, I signed up for $2.95 then to be billed $23.95 starting 14 days later. I logged into my subscription the same day that I purchased it and cancelled subscription after completing resume. I did not receive any email confirmation but thought nothing of it until I was checking bank statements and noticed a charge for $23.95 from the company. I contacted customer service via chat and was told that they never received a cancellation request and I had no proof as they do not send emails for cancellations.
The customer service person was helpful but unable to help completely resolve the issue. I got a partial prorated refund for a service I have not used since I first signed up and cancelled. Although I do not think they are trying to cheat customers I believe it is unfair when subscriptions are cancelled you have not way of knowing it went through other than the thank you received get when logging out.

I subscribed to 14 day trial for $2.95 and tried to cancel on the website. However cancel subscription option is not working as they purposely made it to not to work. So I was charged for the month for $34.95 which is expensive for a resume builder. Hence the 4 starts.

I called the customer service and explained the whole situation. He was very nice and made an exception for me by refunding the full amount and prorated the monthly charges if I wanna use it.

It would have been better if they have the cancel subscription option working as not everyone wants to spend time calling and talk to customer service. Who has that much time. Only reason I don't wanna use their services.

Livecareer is debit and credit card scam site. Don't add your card on this site. They charge huge money without any notification. And they can not refund after passing lot of days. After you remove your credit card from livecareer they don't remove your card. They charge Again few month Letter. Please don't add your card.

Don't ever put your card information or purchase from livecareer because at beginning once you create your cv from them they'll charge you 1.95 euros only after 2 weeks you'll discover that they will deduct from your card 19.95 euros without any notification! It's un trustable website for your card!

They want to charge me even if i am not using their service anymore. They refuse my refund request because of their 14 day policy, they did not notify me that they will be charging, not even sending invoice to my email saying i was charge. I had to see it on my card statement first.

When you cancel, be sure to get a Confirmation # and Confirmation email. These p.o.s. Charged me foe 4 months of usage, when I never even knew I had their service (as I had cancelled their service a week into the free 2 week trial). I noticed the charges and called to cancel and get a refund. The first person kept repeating the same info and then hung up on me when he went to get a manager. I called back and the next guy kept telling me I was talking to the right person when I asked for a manager. Absolutely horrendous company...avoid them. There are way better companies to use.

I was trying to cancel my subscription and I believe I tried to do that 4 days ago and I thought I was successful but I checked back and I wasn't. So it was on me but I was still hoping if something could be reversed because I had not used my account since I purchased the subscription, hence why I wanted to cancel it and thought I was successful. He was very understanding and still helped me get a partial refund and even offered a discounted 1 month trial for 4.95 so I can keep my account active. I thought that was very kind of him to still accommodate my issue even though I was the clumsy one here, I didn't deserve the benefits but he still offered it to me and I thought that was very kind.
