Support was quick to resolve my issue but In my honest opinion the issue should not be there in the first place. If a customer has a trial subscription then leave it at trial.
Should not change to an actual subscription and charge them using their billing information.

Do not fall into the trap. It's not a free resume builder. They charge you to even download the resume, not just to print it. They will then charge their highest rate afterward the trial period. Tried calling about getting a return on the transaction and the first call was greeted by a spam bot that only made offers before promptly telling you to hang up at the end. Second call I was waiting for three hours before I just gave up on even getting to talk to anyone about it.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it. Just don't. Read up on how to write a resume yourself and use word or any free word editor. It's cheaper and I'd even say more professional.

The resume creating experience was very good, although it is annoying that it's required that it is required of you to have something in the "Employer" column, even though some of the work may be volunteer work on a resume. Also, i feel as though needing to purchase a subscription for this is unnecessary for my situation - I am a student and using this site and downloading this resume is part of my course. So maybe a function could be added where organizations or school boards can purchase a licence or something along those lines and those organizations can allow their students access to a set amount of resumes.

The build your cover letter feature was an excellent tool to assist in creating a professional and job specific letter. I signed up for the 14 day trial with complete understanding that it was up to me to cancel within those 14 days in order to avoid future charges. My account was inadvertently created in 2 different places (via gmail and via yahoo/facebook) ( i am still investigating how and why THIS happened)
I attempted to cancel one of the two accounts. Did not get prompt response and when I did it did not adress my situation.
So at this point i am down $1.95 + $1.95
Fewer than 14 days time elapsed when i saw a $39.80 charge on my checking account.
And then another charge for same amount...
Email and chat did not resolve my problem. Language barrier and confusion with account set up...
Now i have a third charge on my bank account!
I have requested that the accounts under my name be cancelled multiple times. Now I am being told that it will be cancelled 1/4/16 and that a refund is not possible.
I am disgusted that this is allowed to go on and be presented as a legitimate business.

I too fell victim to this site and their service. Please read the fine print carefully on their account creation page; you will be charged the $34.95 on the "8th day" after paying the $3.95; not the 8th of the month following payment of the $3.95! This company is practicing very deceptive business, and still getting away with it.

I used there site to build a resume for my wife and it was very helpful. What I didn't realize is that I was signing up for a monthly subscription to build a resume. (other then a resume writer who would need this?) Unfortunately I just realized today that I have being charged for months. Operators are rude and basically blame me. Stay away.

Thought I was paying for a one time access to a resume format, ended up paying a bunch more on a monthly base for nothing. Didn't realize I was getting charged until my bank put a hold on my credit card for suspicious activity because of LiveCareer's monthly charge.
However Rafael Santana, my awesome customer service guy was super nice and helpful and able to get me a refund on the last 5 month of charges which were almost $200, and cancel my subscription thing. Thank So MUCH Rafael!

Found their format useable- went in and created a draft and saved it with e mail address and password. Came back in the next day to review it and subscribe and couldn't access the draft.? Sent repeated request with no success for them to contact me.

This would've been a great resume website however they $#*!ing trick you into making it seem like its free then once you completed your resume it says that you need to pay for it. Had I known from the beginning I would've never used this site. This could've been a good website if it just told you at the beginning you have to pay for it but show the advantage compared to other websites.

However, upon finishing the document, we also give the option of continuing with our premium features if you are satisfied with the end result. This gives you the ability to print, email or download your documents using our copyrighted templates, but these features are NOT listed within the Basic Access account.
In addition, we do offer a 100% money-back guarantee for our trial fee if you are not completely satisfied!
The site shows up on Google as a free resume builder... only after you have spent quite a bit of time building your resume do you discover that you have to pay to have any kind of access to the resume you have made. The fee is minimal, however... it turns out to be a monthly subscription that you have only 2 weeks to cancel or they charge you $34.95! I missed the deadline by 2 days and was charged a pro-rated charge of $4.95 for 2 days! And they could confirm that I had not accessed the site in weeks. Stay far away from this money-making scam!
