Customer service rep Jorge V was excellent with me helping me when I like others failed to pay attention to auto renew terms but credited back my registration fee and helped with understanding to guide me with true professionalism about there company. I bought a $1.95 resume from this company and the ripped me off without enough explanation. They just made me an account and just renewed the account and charged me AU $48. They just want your money, they're rude and their service in rubbish

Don't bother, they continue to take money from your account even when its been cancelled. They are rude on the phone when you're trying to explain something to them, they constantly talk over you doing a sales pitch and trying to discount it down, then they put the phone down and blame it on a technical fault.

Tip for consumers:
Just do not enter your account details in as they are a nightmare to cancel with and then they won't give a full refund for money they should never have taken. fraudsters

This is a great site. I made a resume and found a job within days! Anytime I chatted with them they were very polite and nice.If you don't know how to build a resume... this is your site! They have many formats which makes it very easy to build your resume and cover letter.

It advertises that it is free until you go thru and do a great resume and then bam! You have to pay in order to print it. And then they charge you $35 per month on your credit card until you call and cancel. STAY AWAY!

This is the most shady business I have ever run across. When you delete you account it does not delete your subscription, yet you cannot get back into your account once deleted to delete your subscription some other way. And no where does it tell you when you delete your account that this is not deleting your subscription, leaving your card to be charged the $39.80 and an overdraft fee since I was not expecting any charge to come out of my account and therefore there were not enough funds in my account to not overdraft. I have never been so irate and completely disguisted with any customer service representative as I was when speaking to their representatives, even their "supervisor" tried to talk to me as if I were ignorant. My warning is read the reviews before you use this service not the ones they post on their site either the actual reviews from real customers, almost all stating a shady experience with this scam.

I was changed for a full month or service after i had previously attempted to cancel after paying the first month. I did not wish to keep the service and have attempted to cancel multiple times each time telling me I was cancelled. Now today I received a charge of $40.96 on my credit card.

After I was lied to about this site helping for "free", I was extremely angry. I spent hours trying to perfect my resume and after I accepted the lie and was willing to pay because i put so much thought and hard work into it, the site receive all my information and still refused to let get access to my resume. Ridiculous!

Horrible rip off. Spent two hours (the only two I had) to quickly build a resume to submit to a great job that was closing. I paid the fee, but when I tried to download, couldn't. Spent another 30 minutes trying to work with their online chat who finally told me they were doing work on the system and I could download in another 3-4 hours. I told them that was too late and they said they would cancel the subscription. I missed the opportunity and still got charged on my card. I called to get the charge (and the fees for the foreign transaction not mentioned) removed... they said that I attempted to download, so no refund.

Do not give these people your credit card number... completely dubious operation

I am currently on hold AGAIN to try and reach someone. Been on hold for almost an hour, they hope you will you just give up I guess. I canceled this subscription after a week well before the 14 day trail was up, but still was billed for $34.95. WHAT A RIPOFF. I am unemployed so they are preying on the people that can afford it the least. I am going to report them to the State of Georgia attorney general. These people are scum! I will also call my bank to report the fraud.

Ripoff! People get suckered into using this site thinking its free. Once you are done writing your resume, then, and only then do you realize you have to pay. I was going to pay but then I thought, no way. LiveCareer is borderline scam. If you give them your credit card # you'll be sorry!

This is why I canceled their service!
Do not even start your resume on that web page, Waste of your time!

First, You should let user know before starting the aplication(resume-typing), after spending all that time on a resume, you guys are forcing the user to pay and it is not ethic at all! Second, Web page runs too slow and gives the error all the time. Got an issue and typing just couple of sentence took me for an hour! If I am paying for that, You should totally provide a better service!

This website is such a scam! I signed up for a 14 day trial for $1.95, and of course they signed me up (without telling me) for recurring monthly charges of $40! I messaged with the woman, Diorella from LiveCareer and she claims in the confirmation email and on their website it is stated that they will continue to charge. Which of course is untrue because I never would have signed up for that. Its frustrating that a company supposedly trying to help someone who is already unemployed takes advantage and puts them even more in the financial hole. On top of it, I didn't even use the resume I made on their website because it looked horrible. Terrible, terrible, terrible!

I was very pleased with the website. It's was super helpful and easy. The one thing that needs to be made clear from the start is that you'll be charged a fee. I finished my resume and tried to save, downloaded and print and couldn't do any of it unless I made a purchase. Now the purchase was very fair but it would've nice to know after spending all that time putting it together. Overall it served it purpose. I would recommend it and definitely come back

Don't use this site. It is a rort. They tell you after you have paid $1.95 that you will start getting charged monthly at a rate over 10x your original payment. Then they tell you that if you want to cancel the service to go to "Settings" in your account... something that does not exist. After 15 minutes of searching, I eventually found where you could cancel. Even then, you could easily make a mistake and instead of cancelling the subscription, you end up deleting the account and still getting charged. I can say without a doubt this is one of the most misleading and deceptive sites I have ever encountered.

I have called 5 different times and asked for this to be removed. I have been told 3 different things about how long it takes to get it removed. Read the fine print because they have the right to your content. Been trying to get mine removed and am getting the run around.
