TBH, I cannot speak to the quality of the product as I did not get a chance to complete the intended service.
I can however, say that the fee structure is very deceptive:
Sign up for "Monthly" fee and you will be charged annual amount. The verbiage on the various pages do not clearly state that you WILL be charged for an entire year and can only cancel AFTER that year. That is NOT a monthly fee payment structure.
The Chat services offered are responsive and provide appropriate credit but were rude and implied that I didnt know how to read :). I see it as deceptive wording left up to interpretation and I fell for the scam.
S o regardless of quality of service, they lost me with the BS.

DO NOT use this site! I needed to make a new cover letter and found out that I had to pay to print it out only after I had completed the letter. They then proceeded to charge me way too much money for their poor services, which I didn't use after I printed off my letter, for another 2 months. I cancelled my subscription and was refused reimbursement of my $ because of some obscure line in their terms of use policy that states that if you don't cancel your subscription after the 7 day trial period, they will automatically renew your subscription monthly, without any emails or warnings. BE CAREFUL! MONEY GRABBING SCHEME!

I didn't get the service canceled in time, so was charged the first months fee, which is my fault. But when trying to cancel on-line and remove my account, they kept charging my credit card. And then when I called and spoke with a representative to remove the 2nd charge, they would only process a partial refund. And they again charged my card for another fee. I again spoke with them today and they basically said that if I didn't have proof of the cancelation, that it was my problem. And if I felt like both charges needed to be removed, then I need to dispute the charges with my credit card. While the resume builder was good, it's not worth the hassle of canceling the account. I would NOT recommend Live Career to anyone unless you use a prepaid card to sign up with.

1.95 for resume. Small print which I didn't see anywhere is $39 a month after 14 days if you do not cancel. Charged me under a different email address. Called them and they would not issue me a refund saying I agreed already. Spoke to supervisor who then tried to tell me they can only give me a partial refund because... it already processed most of the payment? Complete BS because I called them a week after the charge. DO NOT GET THEM TO MAKE YOUR RESUME. THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES WHO WORK WITH INTEGRITY!

NOTHING BUT FRAUD. I MADE ONE RESUME PAID THE 1.95 TO HAVE ACCESS TO IT FIR 14 DAYS. AFTER I PAID I COULD NO LONGER ACCESS IT OR MAKE CHANGES. Cancellation stops the auto-renewal. Once it’s canceled, we send a cancellation confirmation email for your records. There are times that auto emails can get picked up as spam or junk mail. Be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.

I too got scammed by this web site. I DID cancel my account within 24 hours and was charged anyway. I will be fighting this charge and filing a complaint. When I spoke to customer service, I was told I cancelled too late. That is a blatant lie. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

My son went on there as he wanted to get a saturday job and put together a cv that he thought was going to cost him 1.45 pounds. We are very clear that when you subscribe there is an auto-renewing feature for which you can cancel anytime and if you don’t cancel your subscription, we will bill you at the monthly rate of £22.95. It is not in small print, but we stated the cost in bold and clear print and stated the details of the subscription options in bullet form, which can be clearly understood. Aside from these details, we also sent a payment confirmation to the e-mail address that your son use when he signed up, stating the amount of what you have subscribed for and the date of the auto-renewal.
We also give multiple ways to cancel the subscription: By calling our customer service number at our free phone number (44) 800-756-3741, 17 hours a day, 7 days a week; by live chat, by e-mail at customerservice@livecareer.co.uk, or you can even go to our website, where there is a self-cancellation feature under the “My Account” section to avoid incurring this charge if service is no longer needed.
