We state this on every page in the purchase process and send the date and amount of the auto renewal following the initial purchase. We don’t see how you could have been charged the monthly rate of $34.95 unless you inadvertently created multiple accounts. We are very clear that when you subscribe there is an auto-renewing feature for which you can cancel anytime. Aside from these details, we also sent a payment confirmation to the e-mail address that you’ve used when you signed up, stating the amount of what you have subscribed for and the date of the auto-renewal.
We also provide many ways in which you can cancel. You can cancel by calling our customer service team which is open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week at toll free 1-888-816-0576, by live chat or by e-mail to customerservice@livecareer.com. There is even a self-cancellation feature under “My Account” on our website.

This is the worst company. I was informed I was only going to be charged 1.95 for the one resume. I was charged 39.95 for a month after 14 days. I called for a refund thinking it would be simple. They refused to give me a refund. The customer service rep hung up on me, after saying she was the supervisor and that there was nobody above her I could speak to. She said they have a no refund policy, which I agreed to when I paid the $1.95 for the one resume. HERE IS THEIR REFUND POLICY AS POSTED IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

ResumeGenius.com provides a full refund to customers who are still within their 14-day trial subscription term. NO WHERE DOES IT SAY NO REFUNDS.
This place is a scam. I called my bank to dispute the charges and we will see how that goes.
