STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!
Their practises are very fraudulent and deceptive.
I went to pay my utility bills this weekend to find nearly $50AUD had been withdrawn from my bank account.
I ring my bank to find that livecareer has billed me another two times prior, which means I have pretty much been charged $150 for a very simple resume.
Do not be fooled by this website, or their claims that they make it clear that they will auto-renew subscription.
They lie about how much monthly subscription costs, it's easy enough to see for yourself, all you do is click on "my account" then "subscription" where it offers you to upgrade from their $1.95 14-day trial to $7.95 monthly access; yet they charge $38.90 which takes them 6months to start billing?
How does that work live career?
How can you claim that you make these facts clear when so many angry customers say otherwise?!
They do not hold true to their money back guarantee stamp image that this page also exhibits.
It also does not state on this page anywhere that the 14 day-trial is AUTO RENEWED as their representatives keep stating in their response to comments on reviews about their company.
When I click on "delete account" it tells that I have an active subscription, that I need to click "continue" to cancel the subscription, lo and behold when I click on "continue" it takes me to the subscription upgrade page!
Using the live help chat applet yields not satisfactory results, either sends as an email or never any support representative on the other end, after 15mins of waiting.
This is AFTER having to change my web security program's settings to allow me to visit the site due to it's suspicious behavior.
This website is all kinds of wrong!
I have contacted my bank, and cancelled my card and they are sending me a new one; furthermore I will be contacting the fraud dept. of my bank to retrieve the money they have billed me for.
However this does not satisfy me as it has still put me in financial hardship, as it has made me behind in paying my bills.

Deleting an account is different from cancellation. Deleting means you will not be able to access any of your resumes, cover letters, or emails, and this action cannot be undone. However, cancellation stops the auto-renewal. Cancelling a subscription online can be found under the subscription tab.

Like hundreds of others who have trusted in this site, a site that is making millions of dollars off of people by stealing from their bank accounts (without them realizing), and without them even using their services! A complete and total joke, scam, and honestly the most unethical company I have ever seen. How does a "career helping", resume building website that is supposed to be HELPING people who don't have jobs aka DONT HAVE MONEY, take money from the people who need it the most? Many magazine companies & websites automatically renew subscriptions but I've never had a company not apologize and refund me. It's sick what these people are doing and they need to be exposed, taken off the web & sued! Obviously if this many people are having the SAME issue, wouldn't you want to fix it? No! Because you're all about the money Live Career, you don't care about offering people good products or services, you're all about getting the free money! Luckily I have a huge network since I recently graduated from the University of Texas with my M. B. A. And I have over 500 UT alumnis in my immediate network, so I will quickly get the word out for them to get the word out to all the people in their networks which links all the Universities and colleges in the United States together, and the faster we get the word out, the quicker we shut down Live Career! Live Career stole the food out of my wife and children's mouths this week. They do it everyday. They trick, scam and take money from trusting, unsuspecting, hard-working Americans who are simply trying to feed their families and make a better life for themselves. To the CEO of LIve Career. I hope you read this (you obviously won't since you care nothing about customer service or PR since you haven't made any proactive policy changes to become a more ethical company) and know that you've hurt and set back SO many people that it doesn't matter if you've helped even one person, so I hope you don't justify taking people's money when you and your website have done NOTHING for that money. This company lures you in on a trial and will nail you for 39.80 the second your trial is over and WILL NOT. I REPEAT. WILL NOT give you a cent of your money back!
The software rated online as highest out of 10 costs less than one month of this service and you own it! You can share it with family and friends and make and change your resume endlessly.

REGARDING THE COMPANY REPLY
There is NO SUCH area on "Accounts" to change anything. There is NOTHING on your account settings that even shows the payment when it came out, what card it's coming from. NO SUCH OPTION EXISTS. Live Chat tells you to call. Calling tells you all the same lies she states below and acknowledges nothing and keeps your money!
In fact, I was put on hold for almost 10 minutes on the phone call JUST for the person to find out what credit card it was being charged to! She came back saying that information has to be looked up by a supervisor. IN OTHER WORDS. THE TYPICAL CALL CENTER JERK AROUND SO YOU'LL HANG UP. GIVE UP AND NOTHING ABOUT CANCELLING IS EASY. THERE IS NO BILLING SECTION ON YOUR ACCOUNT SHOWING PAYMENTS AND THEY DO NOT. DO NOT EMAIL YOU ONCE A PAYMENT COMES OUT.
The copy pasted replies to my post are lies and it's very unfortunate they try to operate this way -- stealing peoples money!
