This service was helpful in creating a resume, however I do have an issue with the way the service was provided. All of your advertisements claim that this is a free service, but really charges a fee to download the resume and actually use it. I know this is a business that needs to make a profit, but you should be upfront about your fees. I was very pleased with the customer service I received.

Overall, the program works pretty well. It would be nice if it were a little easier to put in your own experience entries. Sometimes the bullets tend to foul up when you don't use the pre written ones.

I don't think it was clear that this was an automatic renewal on this site. I was unable to cancel online and now have a second charge on my account. I called customer service. What a joke. Evidently the customer service representatives don't speak english so that you will just give up.

I really appreciate the actual service. The customer service was good. They helped me get a refund for an unnecessary charge. The reason why there are 4 stars and not 5 is because of the 5 minute sales pitch at the end of the conversation. Other than that the service was great!

There are plenty of resources for job seekers. In my opinion too many that are vary in value. LiveCareer does a great job at filtering high quality resources and tailoring them to your needs. It is a relatively inexpensive service and the customer service is also great.

This site is RIDICULOUS. I paid the initial fee to make my resume using a re loadable Visa. After reviewing my charges on the card, I then noticed that they charged me for an 7 months at the rate of $34.95! Who thinks that keeping a resume should cost that much per month! REALLY? $420.00 per year? When I contacted them they said my fault for not understanding that they could keep charging me for a one-time service month after month. After objecting, they credited me back 2 months. BEWARE OF THIS SITE

I only gave one star because 0 was not an option. Complete scam do not waste your time or money! I have been charged fees of $1.07 multiple times and charged $35.80 a couple times and the website promised a one time charge of $1.95 or whatever it was and well that's definitely not the case. And no their website does not make it clear that you will get charged or that you have to unsubscribe to avoid monthly charges.It was supposed to be a one time fee to email myself the resume and it did not come out exactly as it was previewed! SCAM!

Best customer service - gave a refund for an unused month before I could even live chat them about it! In terms of the resume format - downloading it to word made it a little wonky and difficult to edit outside of their site. There were some changes I couldn't make on the site in terms of how I wanted dates to look or placement of certain things.

When I called they also put all the blame on me and could clearly see I have not used it and said it would never happen again but would not refund me the money. I am beyond mad and angry. I think they make it look like you cancel at the time but in reality they do not put it through! What a scam!

I had no idea on how to write my resume in English at first place. However, thanks to this LiveCareer I had no problem in generating my resume in a couple of hours. Besides, first I made a mistake of paying higher rate plan than I originally planned. There was this chatting facility that resolved my concern. She/he accepted my requested and changed my payment plan to a cheaper one which I wanted to purchase.

Loved that this website offered templates to work off of in order to build a resume. What I didn't like was the fact that once I downloaded my resume, I couldn't make any tweaks or adjustments through microsoft word. Instead I had to make any changes/adjustments through the website. I ended up downloading at least 10 copies of my resume, each with slight adjustments made according to the job I was applying for. Pretty annoying. However, when I called their customer service department to cancel my membership, Jennifer, the customer support rep, was very courteous, professional, caring and helpful. Great attitude. Because I had such a great CS experience, I will actually reconsider and revisit my membership in the future when they've improved on their downloading features.

My experience with Live Career was wonderful. Although I have been a small-business owner for many years, I am moving back into the workforce as a teacher. It's a negative 5... without the "cussing" symbols! They are sneaky! Oh it's "free" to place your resume on one of their many lovely templates... and THAT IS IT! You have to pay to email, download or even print it! Plus, the site kept switching my info around randomly! I kept re-doing and re-doing till it finally accepted it! Then it kept flashing that I had been inactive for over 90 minutes when I JUST FINISHED! Really? AWFUL... I wasted hours out of my day! STAY AWAY!

The attendant was very efficient and kind. I was able to cancel my account quick. The problem is as I explained to her I did not want to become a member, I only signed for the free 14 days trial. The charge was being made in a card that is a brazilian card so I did not realize it. I did the trial in september 26, so the first 39,80 charge was probably on oct 11. Tried contacting customer service right away and they said they couldn't do anything for me! Will be contacting my bank right away!

I signed up for the trial and then started getting charged $39.80 a month. Now I'm being charged by Resumenow and LiveCareer which are the same. This last month I was charged 3 times for $39.80. The product is good but not for $120 a month. It took me a couple of months to figure out what was going on because the names were not the same. I am now trying customer service and that doesn't sound very encouraging. Stay away. There have to be more reputable sites out there.
