I wasted my time building a resume on this platform. It was listed as a free builder and it greedily asked for an account to be paid for in order to save the resume. I would love to slap whoever is responsible for this right in the face!

Did a resume for my wife like others said ended up paying for it! Then the real shocker
They withdrew 34.95 from my checking account and it said it was recurring. I called them immediately they supposedly canceled my account but not giving my money back. This company is a rip-off. Wished I would of found this site and the reviews before I got messed up with them!

I signed up to finish one cover letter. The next thing I know I am charged 40 for a monthly service. When I contacted the company I was told I was outside the 14 day money back guarantee and they would only offer a partial refund even though I hadn't used the service. I am in the process of fighting the charge with my CC company. Stay away!

All the reviews were accurate and dead on. In my case, I received confirmation for canceling but was still charged numerous times afterward. Dealing with the customer service is no fun...
Now they want me to resend the cancellation email they sent me back in June claiming they will have to 'escalate' to get the department that does auto confirmations to verify because customer service has no idea when mails are sent.

I like many, spent quite a bit of time working on a document only to find that I had to give them my credit card to download the document. Fair is fair, so I did. I also went back into my settings and cancelled my subscription, which was ignored and continues to be ignored. I will contact my credit card company for assistance since I have fraud protection. I may not be able to recoup what they have already stolen, but I will be able to stop further charges and have them investigated. I would give them zero stars if the site would allow.

I signed up for a two week trial, under the impression that I would not be charged after two weeks. At the end of two weeks, I received an email stating if I didn't renew my subscription, my membership would end. At the end of the two weeks, I was charged $25. I called to cancel my account; and the customer service support tried to get me to renew yet again. Finally got it cancelled, but still have to pay for the one month that I didn't sign up for.

Do NOT use this site or their sister site Resume Builder! I used Live Career and cancelled it the very same day. Yet the next day I had money taken from me FOUR times. I decided to do a different resume on Resume Builder and the same thing happened. I cancelled immediately and the next day was billed four more times this time over drafting my account! These sites are scamming innocent people who are looking for work. ALSO watch out because they apparently charge international fees and they blame that all on your bank.

"Free-to-use" it was advertised as. But as I should have guessed, nothing is free. As soon as I tried to download the resume it prompted me to choose one of only two options, both of which were- you guessed it, not free!
Two stars because the resume builder was actually pretty decent, but the deceptive marketing is bogus.

The rep told me that it was in the fine print that we would automatically be signed up for a monthly subscription if we didn't cancel. Why is it called a 7 day subscription if I have to call and cancel it after 7 days!? Obviously several others have had this problem as well and hopefully are getting their money refunded. SCAM SITE. They say FREE resume builder, but ofcourse only the building part is free. The part where you download or print it requires payment of 1 dollar. And after a convenient 2 weeks they are in their offices rubbing their hands waiting to charge you 40 dollars for each month in the hopes of you forgetting you were forced to subscribe to pay for that one time resume you spent a few hours on but could not print. Use this site if you like paying 40 dollars for nothing. It will help the site fund its payment to google to display it as top result every time. America has really gone to hell. Greedy f*ckers.

Not great. They put me on a 14 day trial but neglected to tell me if the trial lapsed I would be asked to pay $30.00 plus a month AUD. I failed to see how this would benefit me.
My initial problem was that their resume template would not accept my mobile phone number with country code. As I wanted to apply for a remote position overseas. They told me that I would have to convert my resume from PDF to WORD to achieve this. I was also told that I could get a deal where I would pay AUD $5.95 a month for their services. This dramatic reduction, rather than selling me on the deal made me even more dubious about their ethics.
