Upon speaking with your Representative, Aristides, I found that he was very patient with me and extremely helpful. I recommend that Aristides, be allowed to teach a class in how to be patient with the customer, as well as, being helpful. He was simply outstanding!

Luckily I caught these thiefs when they charged me today for 39.80$ I was in a rush to fill out an application for Frito Lay so I bought there 1$ resume about a month ago. Being confused by there words I thought I could trust the site but apparently I was wrong all I wanted was there 1$ deal and be done with them but they charge you without consent. This resulted in me calling my bank. They ripped my card and i will be refunded the money. Your site will soon be seen by prosecutors and the site will be down for fraud soon enough. Dont deal with these $#*!s just head straight to your bank and youll win against them!

When all others wanted to tell me it will take a a few days to see what they can do. This rep went out of her way to helped me. Then explained what I need to do and then got everything done for me. This rep was really truly amazing. If I had a business I would Have her running it cause she knows how to handle customer service. God bless her. Give her a raise or promotion. My MINOR daughter wanted to use the site for a resume to look for a summer job. Then, after creating it, realized she would have to pay $2.99. I said OK, since the work was done. She did NOT receive any emails indicating an ongoing charge of $39.80, nor was I aware. All of a sudden I see a charge of $39.80 on my credit card and that was the 2nd time. Caught it the day it was posted. Now, why would a 16 year old need to subscribe to a resume service? When I called the customer service rep put me on hold for 14 minutes, probably hoping I would give up. Then I was told she couldn't even refund me the $39.80 that was only posted hours earlier. STAY AWAY from these guys.

I used this site to make a great resume. I then paid the $3.95 for the trial fee, which is fair. The problem came in when I deleted my account a couple of days later [before the trial was done] and I was then charged the $34.95 subscription fee. I talked to customer service via email and was ignored when I said I wanted a refund. I then talked to a customer service rep named 'Pedz' via chat. He told me more than once that I didn't have an account under the email I gave him. After I told him to double check it, he found it.
Long story short, he confirmed everything was cancelled and then told me that he was making an 'exception' by giving me a refund even though the money was wrongfully taken from my account.
Just from that experience with their oh so helpful CSR, I would NOT recommend this site. The resume was great but the customer service was awful. I saved the transcript just in case my refund doesn't come through and just in case I'm charged again.

This is the WORST company EVER! I have used this company several times but NEVER again! I tried several times to cancel my subscription but with no success. I waited on the phone for over 30 minutes twice then almost an hour another time. I tried online to cancel but was obviously unsuccessful when I saw the charge on my account. I will NEVER recommend this website to anyone or on social media as I have done in the past. Now all I will give is negative reviews!
This company needs to be more clear on how to unsubscribe! This company is just a scam to get money!

Livecareer had paved the way for me so that I could land the job that I have right now. With their free trial, I was able to create a very competent resume. It even provided me the option to download the resume in MULTIPLE FORMATS. I just love it's key features giving me the ease of use. I mean, what more can I ask for? I couldn't care less if I see negative comments about their resume builder. All I can say is that I am willing to lay my name on the line for them since they were able to deliver what they had promised. After cancelling my monthly subscription TWICE they were still continuing to automatically withdraw their payment from my account. Spoke with a customer service representative who refused to refund the money that they took after I had canceled, telling me, well you are all set, it is cancelled now.

I have used LiveCareer in the past on a trial basis and didn't renew because of cost. I have read many reviews that generally cry out against the renew policy and general 'money taken' without permission issues. I think the company should send an email at least a day or two in advance of the automatic renewal and perhaps OFFER customers upgrades rather than relying on the forgetful nature we humans have of canceling subscriptions to garnish profits. Yes, I know this is how the monies are made, however for the integrity of the company and all it stands for, there has to be a better way to retain customers and creating a win-win situation. Thank goodness I was able to chat with Alejandra and assisted otherwise mine would have been another bitter review for LiveCareer.

The reviews before me say it all. Live chat was most likely some robot, all they would do is cancel my subscription. No refund. I don't see how they can sleep at night offering a "FREE" version (mhmm sure) of a fancy Microsoft Word.
Also, "Anna B." sure is good at copying and pasting sentences read off of a page. Enjoy the pat on the head from your supervisor, and SUCK A BIG FAT ONE.
