I signed up thinking I was getting a one time resume and ended up getting my credit card billed $50 per month for a service I was not using. Pretty much a scam. I sombody doesnt sign up after 14 days chances are they are not interested so you keep billing them?! I wasted $200. I will never use this service again or would I recommend to anybody

Don't do it! The format of the word documents sucks. If you make a change is ruins the whole document plus it comes in Arial 10.5 font REALLY? Need a magnifying glass to read the resume. Don't waste your time. I spent more time fixing the format issues than if I created it myself.

I do not recommend, I wrote a resume for my mother through the site of this service, I paid separately 4.95 zł for it. For 5 days it turned out that my card was charged on an additional 75 zł for some subscription, which I did not agree. After reclaming it, I received a refund of only half (34,5 zł), despite the fact that I do not intend to use this service in the future. So one-time writing a CV came out to me in 40 zł. This is a fraud, I advise.

Do not use it at all, it is a fraud!

I was very pleased with your site. It was easy to use and I completed the resume in record time. Resumes are always a pain, but your tools made it a lot less painful. I would definitely recommend your site to friends and associates. The only thing I had a problem with was downloading a copy that could be capture in MS Word. The resume gets jumbled. The PDF is fine but I also needed a copy that could be adjusted in the future. I worked it out eventually but it could have been easier if it had been Word compatible.

I feel like i have been scammed by you. Used livecareer one time to create an application in the beginning of december and payed a small amount of money. Not knowing that you would bill me a huge amount of money every month without me knowing and without me making any use of your service. Shame on you! Hope you will return me the money as i haven't been using your service.

I went to this website to create a resume for my wife. I found this site on Google after searching for FREE resume templates. After sitting and creating the resume, for nearly 30 minutes I went to print it out only to find that they were charging me $1.95. Well, I has spent the time and agreed to pay the one time fee. Then today, I was checking my account and discovered they were charging me another $40.
I called to inquire what the money was for and was told it was for the membership that I ordered. After explaining I did not order a membership they instructed me that the $1.95 was for a fourteen day trial and if I had not cancelled in fourteen days that they would automatically enroll me in the membership. I called and complained and wanted the money refunded. They told me that they would cancel my membership and reimburse me $30 for the unused part of the membership.
So, beware of these kind of FREE sites and really read what you are agreeing to.

I used the site to build a resume, cancelled after two days. Was bill 80 dollars even tho i didnt even have an account any longer. Was promised a refund, its yet to show up. Its been over a week, they said 3-5 days

These folks are the worst. Stay away. They took money from for three months after trying to cancel. If you try and cancel you have to call because they will not let you go easy and they will not refund the money they took.

This site applies a well known scheme of stealing your money. They lure you in with a free account, and you don't have to pay the first month. But in the terms and conditions they clearly state that after the first month they enroll you into their monthly subscription. And this is their business model. It is legal and they count on users not noticing for as long as possible that they are taking their money. When you finally notice, there is nothing you can do since the terms and conditions are clearly stated.

So it's not illegal, but it's still a scam. A legal scam. And no matter how many "appologies for you inconvenience" you will receive, they still tricked you into taking your money. Nothing free will ask for your credit card.

Called in with billing questions and the rep explained everything and answered all my questions. I had asked about about the automated billing and issues with the site working on FireFox browser. It was suggested to use Chrome browser and it works much faster without and lag now.

What a rip off bunch of con artists.
I paid for a 48 hr subscription and have also been charged $34.95 per month for the last 3 months. Now i have to go through the process of cancelling my Bankcard and having a new one reissued. SHAME... SHAME... SHAME

What we do have is a 14 day introductory subscription, which when you sign up, we let you know clearly and without any doubt, that if you do not cancel your subscription prior to the end of the 14 days, your subscription will automatically renew at the monthly rate of $34.95. Further, when we send your payment confirmation to your e-mail, we again offer the information that if you do not wish to continue your subscription, you do need to unsubscribe your account.

You can cancel your LC account in a variety of ways – either by e-mail at customerservice@livecareer.com, by telephone to our customer service (which is open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-888-816-0576) or even self-cancelling by clicking onto your Account Settings page and following the prompts on how to cancel your account.

We are very proud of the fact that we have helped people all over the world find their dream jobs by utilizing our award winning resumes and cover letter templates. We are sorry that your experience with LiveCareer was not a satisfactory one.

I used Live Career to build my resume, at the end of that process it asked to pay a fee of $1.95 to print or download. The fine print said that after 14 days it would charge you monthly fees. A couple days after I got back on the site and cancelled the subscription. Thinking I had cancelled it I didn't think to check my account for it. I noticed they charged me for $39.80 for the month. I again went on and cancelled the subscription and watched my account the next month. Again, I was charged $39.80, I tried emailing and asking to unsubscribe me and to refund my money. After sending it in 4-5 times I still have not heard a reply. DO NOT USE THIS SITE IT'S A SCAM!
