This is the worse experience ever i just wanted one resume and when i forgot to cancel the account they charged me $35 and i called and they wouldn't even give me my money back... the site is a complete scam please don't use it

I paid the fee to get a resume, it works for a quick download, but is a little pricey to pay a monthly fee. However, I canceled before the 14 day trial and they were very nice. Not pushy or rude when I canceled. If you are looking for a job and need a good resume, this is a good place to start.

The site is very good it's easy to fill out information about your resume in your life and they just send you updates on new jobs that come in so I really appreciate that and I had a problem and called the 800 number and the person was very nice and very understanding and helped me to get what I needed to continue with life recovery app

I just got to this site and just thought of trying it for 7 days, after i forgot to remove my subscription and they charged me 19 dollar and they didn't send me a receipt, i came to know only when i checked my credit card bill. After that i unsubscribed and never used there service they didn't charge me for next three months. Again suddenly they started charging me 3 dollar, with even informing me and i came to know only when i checked my credit card bill. When i called the customer service, they are not agreeing this.

I just used this quickly to format a resume to fax. It seemed good enough for what I needed it for. I was aware of the $2.95 charge and it has already shown up on my online credit card transactions page. I cancelled this within an hour after signing up, and so I have cancelled **well within the 14-day "Resume Builder 14 day Full Access" period** So STAY TUNED! If I get any further charges from this service, it is indeed a ripoff/scam, and if I don't, then apparently it works OK if you follow all their instructions about cancelling.

They are a joke of a company that makes most of its money its customers not reading the fine print of a confirmation email. They say $1.95 for 14 days but charge 35. If you don't cancel the membership and its hidden in the deep in the confirm.ation email, not even the initial offer. Not even that helpful with your resume either

Our prices and policies are not “hidden”, but it is clearly stated on our subscription sales page and on the email confirmation that we send upon purchase, which includes the amount that you have signed up for and the auto-renewal date.
You can cancel by calling our customer service center (which is open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week), or by live chat or by e-mail to customerservice@livecareer.com. There is even a self-cancellation feature under “My Account” on our website.

When I tried to donwload my resume serval of times, it would not download. So I used my google email to try it and it only downloaded half of the page. So I tried to call customer service about it and I never got an answer, I stayed on the phone waiting for over an hour. I finally called back 2 days later and the lady was very nice and helpful. I advise to not call after one in the afternoon. You probably won't get an answer. As well as, use your google email. Yahoo doesn't work at all!

I signed up for a 2 week trial which you do have to pay for. Howver I was charged once at sign up and then again the following day. Not only that at the end of two weeks I cancelled the account and then realized I had been charged an astonishing $40 that Same day. I contacted them and they refused to refund my money so I am left with no subscrption and I am out $40 for nothing.

None of the featured worked on the website complete was of money and time! Contacted multiple times to cancel my account they said ok and I was still being billed. Used the option to talk to them online said it was canceled still never got email confirmation finally tried calling yet again to wasted 30 minutes of my time and the phones were disconnected. I only then got a response when I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges! Then they were willing to cancel my account but charge me another month. How thoughtful. Thankfully my creditcard company blocked charges and is refunding me. I'm not one to write reviews but they're a horrible company!

I spoke with representative Mary in Puerto Rico about issues that I had regarding adding a new section to my resume. Mary also assisted me regarding the Fed x issue that I am going through at this time. I was told by another representative from another office that I did not meet the requirements to get the 10 free copies of my resume printed by Fed X. Mary went to her supervisor to inquire about this matter seeing that the original website I worked on was Resume Now. Which offered the Fed X service and not the website I was directed to work on by a representative from the San Francisco area. Mary gave me a turn around time of 24-48 hrs. Look, there are MANY resume builders out there. I wasted my entire morning with this one - billed as a "free" builder - but went to print and charged $1.95. The (hidden) charge would have been fine, but then **the formatting and font CHANGED** when I saved the resume to either Word or PDF. I was advised to save to RTF (that didn't work either - the formatting got completely screwed up)
Do yourself a favor and choose any one of the other dozens of Resume builders out there - you'll be so glad you did.

Paid $35 yesterday to make my resume. Today I have to send to 5 companies before days end. All 5 contacted me and I told them I would have it to the today. Cannot get online and download it now. Site is all messed up or something. Tred live chat at 2pm and they said try it again in a few hours. Now it 4:30 and still doesnt work. Tried live chat and no one is there. Timed out several times for no response. I want my money back! I am going to call my card company and request a charge back. TERRIBLE SERVICE! I have 30 minutes to write another and send it. Ugh.

Using live career to make my resume was easy. The prices seemed straight forward enough, but upon signing up, they did not tell me about the $39.80 subscription fee. Nor did they make it explicitly clear that canceling my account would not cancel my subscription. So even though I cancelled my account my subscription allowed them to continue charging me. I am very disappointed with this service and very annoyed that I trusted this site with my personal information. They need to fix this problem if they continue to claim they are cheap and easy to use.

Deleting an account is different from cancellation. Deleting means you will not be able to access any of your resumes, cover letters, or emails, and this action cannot be undone. However, cancellation stops the auto-renewal. Cancelling a subscription online can be found under the subscription tab.

This site offers you "low cost" or "free" trials, then auto bill you $39.95 per month with no way to cancel. I have been trying to call and email but no one ever responds. This is a shameful practice and terrible way to do business. They need to be reported to BBB and pushed out through Social Media to get media attention of their scamming practices. I want my money back and account canceled.
Tip for consumers:
Beware! They will take you money and keep billing you! Yes, it's one of those scam sites, not really there to help you but take your money.

They put me on hold for about 10 minutes without saying anything when I requested to cancel my subscription, until finally I started pressing random buttons, and immediately someone answered. It seemed as though they wanted to wait me out until I would hang up so that I wouldn't cancel my subscription. It was the opposite of what customer service should be. The woman who answered me took way too much convincing to cancel my subscription and continued to try and convince me not to after I had made it perfectly clear I wasn't budging. Their customer service system is designed to make it as hard as possible to cancel your subscription. Don't waste your money here
