I needed to write a resume and searched online for a form. I found this site and decided to pay the 7 day try-out. It was about 2 dollars. After that period ended, they send me an e-mail, saying that the 7 day period ended. But they didn't send me an e-mail, saying that they will freely take 35$ from my bank account! They are really unprofessional, so don't use them!
This is the letter, that they send me, after I said I will sue them!

The subscription that you purchased has a recurring billing feature and you can cancel at any time. It is clearly stated on the subscription sales page and the confirmation e-mail we send you upon purchase. It was also stated there as to when your subscription will auto-renew at $ 34.95.
We take great care in letting our customers know what they are subscribing to, as well as providing the many ways in which they can cancel. You can cancel by calling our customer service center (which is open 18 hours a day, 7 days a week), or by live chat or by e-mail to customerservice@livecareer.com. There is even a self-cancellation feature under “My Account” on our website. The refund that was processed is a one time courtesy credit.

I was on the fence whether to go with this service as there was an equal amount of 5 stars reviews as there were 1 star reviews. I was desperate so I paid for a CV and Cover letter. After two weeks of silence I sent them an email and got a response saying that my CV had been assigned to 'a top CV writer' (yeah right) and they will be in contact shortly. It has now been a month since they took my payment and I am yet to get anything for it.
I am desperate for a job and I naivley thought that Cvnow would help me but I alas it is a sham. I have spent this time working on my CV, passing it around firends and family and got some great tips and it hopefuly won't be too long before I can find employment.
Be warned: PURCHASES ARE NON REFUNDABLE. As frustrating as it is that I have been robbed there is nothing that I can do about it.

THIS SITE IS A SCAM--- PLAN AND SIMPLE...
I USED THERE SERVICES AND CANCELLED AFTER THE TRAIL, THEN NEEDED TO REVISE MY RESUME AND PAYED TO DO SO.
I THEN DELETED THE ACCOUNT... 7 MNS LATER I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR THE 34.96... WHEN I CALLED THEY SAID EVEN THOUGH THE ACCOUNT WAS CANCELLED AND DELETE THE SUBSCRIBTION CANCELLATION EMAIL WAS NEVER SENT... SO I WAS NOT ABLE TO RECIEVE A REFUND FOR ALL THE CHARGES... and before she agreed to cancel my account for the future --she charged me for the current month while I was on the phone with her... I happened to have my back account open to reference the dates of previous charges while we spoke and watched it happen... and threw a fit. That one I was able to receive a refund for... this place is a $#*! hole of a business... I would use them if your were my last resort! STEER CLEAR!

Ash, we provided many ways in which you can cancel the service, by phone, chat, email and through “Account Settings” online. We may not know how you have cancelled the service back then, but deleting the account is different from cancelling the service. Deleting an account means removing all the information on site so the next time you will login your login information will not be recognized. Cancellation means preventing you from incurring the monthly charges. If you have successfully cancelled the service we automatically send a cancellation confirmation email to the email address you’ve used to create the account.
You may have been charged for the current month, because it was not cancelled successfully back then and when you called it may be the start of your billing cycle that’s why you have incurred the $ 34.95 charged.

Everyone intrested in using this website, DON'T! I bought a resume for 4.95, and a month after that, I recieved a phone call from my bank to tell me that my debit card was frauded. There were 305.50 in charges on my account I didn't authorize, which includes the scam of 34.99 for 2 months they charged my account. At the end of investigstion, the bank told me that THIS WEBSITE WAS HOW MY INFORMATION GOT STOLEN. They also traced the website, which is run by someone from indonesia. These are NOT customer service representatives responding to complaints. Of course some fake representatives is going to have somthing to say to my post, but don't buy anything from this website. These people WILL steal your credit/debit card information
