I have placed 3 genuine adverts on Locanto, I do not take money, and I reply to all enquiries and am a genuine advertiser in the personals section. Please do not assume I'm scamming because I'm not, I run a small business providing naked cleaning, and am using this site to advertise my business.
There are many fake ads, make sure you don't pay any advance at all. Even they tell you a location and you go all prepared and they ask you to paytm in the last minute before you intend to meet your requirements and after that it's gonna be fake. I can't write down the numbers as the list is too big. JUST REMEMBER NOT TO PAY ANY ADVANCE AT ALL TO ANYONE

This app is a total rip off. You can post a profile for free but when you want to connect with someone you pay around AU $30 per month. After you make the payment (because suddenly you have 100 people who 'like' you), you do not have access to that feature. Then you get asked to subscribe again. Emails to customer support result in a message that says your payment method failed even though the money has exited your bank account. Further emails to them go unanswered. Reported to regulator and lost (at minimum $30 bucks)

99% of the women are scammers trying to get prepaid for hookups they're continually block and then they come back as a another girl it's and overall scam there are real people there but very few to hook up with cuz there's so many scams
IF you get a response from any women it will be a working girl, which is fine but should be in Escorts ads, OR from someone referring you to a site " for their safety" which is a scam for credit card details OR links to more dodgy dating sites. Some other sections appear legit but personals are not vetted or policed for scams or criminal activity which is a shame as they started with such great potential. Please be warned there are NO legitimate safe ID sites.
Think about it. A credit card shows you're over 18 not whether you're a rapist or axe murderer! It's just another phishing exercise! You're better off sorting through the fake profiles that manage to get in to even the best rated dating app. Or if you want to avoid all the hassle, visit an escort or a good private operator, get exactly what you want and go home smiling. Beats blocking and renewing credit cards and much disappointment.
I was looking in Personals. I sent out about 30 replies to ads. Not one single reply. Everyone wants you to text them. I did for several people. 5 Contacted me back. 3 wanted me to put my credit card info into a fake, unsecure site "for their safety". 1 wanted a $100 iTunes card up front to meet with me. 1 sent me to an address that was a closed business which was supposedly her address.
So every reply I have gotten from anyone on Locanto has been garbage designed to cheat me! What a horrible waste!
