Their return policy is a Joke I have returned many things in my day (I work for FEMA and dont always have time to abide by 30 day return policy, lets be real life gets in the way) well I qill spend my money in places more deserving and who appericates their customers... After returning their stuff today out of the 30 day window and them litterally nickle and diming me, I will take my business elsewhere. Seruoisly with a receipt you give me the current Sale price? You know what I paid, I didnt wear these items. I have been so loyal to this brand for years, no longer.
I placed two orders for loft a month ago. I received one of the packages last week and did not receive the other package. I sent a text to the number loft had listed to text multiple times without any response. I also called the customer service number which just repeated my tracking number and order number over and over. I finally found my package delivered to the house down the street with the wrong address on it (did not like going door to door during COVID). I then tried to return pants that didn't fit. When I went to return, I typed in the order number and the website says they don't recognize that order number. IT IS THE SAME NUMBER THEY LISTED OVER AND OVER WHEN I TRIED TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is ridiculous. Will not order from them again.
I ordered online and I had made a return of a few of the items in my order to a store. I logged onto my account for several days after that and do not see the return or a credit issued. So I call. After confirming my identity 4 times and being shoved to talk to this one and that one. The 1st person said,"I don't know why you can't see it I can" that was her way of solving the problem, she then transferred me without notice. The 2nd person said, "I'm not sure why you can't either". The 3rd person says, "you have a credit of $X" and I request it to be mailed to me. I say well I still can't see the activity on my account which worries me. She also informs me my account has been closed. Without requesting anything she immediately transfers me again to another person. He then states, "you have a credit of $X and it will be mailed to you and your account has not been closed and is in good standing".
Their customer service is horrible. I would give negative stars if I could. No one was helpful and I don't know if I could trust that anyone of those people I spoke to knew what they were doing.
I like Loft the store but will NEVER use their credit services again. Absolutely atrocious.
I'm just always amazed at how unhelpful and unbending Loft is with their customer service. I placed an order for my daughter, the order is being shipped to her home and there is no Loft in their area. After I placed the order I noticed there was a sweatshirt in my order I did not intend to make. It must have been something in my cart from months ago and because of the number of items I was buying, I wasn't able to see the sweatshirt until it was too late. I literally called within 5 minutes of hitting send and was told it was too late to edit. Because they already started to fulfill the order? There is literally no reason at all they couldn't remove the item from the order. I would have understood if I called a day or two later and they already started the process of fulfilling the order, but that wasn't the case. Time and time again I'm just so disappointed with Loft - the quality of their clothes, their poor customer service, and the fact that they just don't seem to care to correct any of those issues. I'm shredding my card! I'm done.
I was placing an order for a purchase, and I put my card information in and it came back as "error, check your card number and CVC code" so I went back and retyped it in thinking maybe I typed the wrong number. It kept coming back as an error, so I gave up. Then I went to look at my banking account, and I have 5 pending purchases for $104.59 in my account even though the purchase kept saying error check my card number. I called customer service and they replied my order did not go through. They advised standard policy is an authorization fee even through the order did no process. My bank was able to fix all but one order, which has not gone through, I will have to wait a couple of days and then have to file claim my bank advise. Next dayI tried the next day to place the same online order. Same exact ec=experience from previous day. I called customer service again and was asked if my card info was correct, If I used a different email., phone #, exc. Honestly save yourself the hassle and just don't order online. Clearly from below reviews something is wrong with this website. Customer service is not helpful and I honestly will not shop here again.
In the 20th century, they made in-store return policy simple for gift receivers with a gift receipt. You would think that in the 21st century, they would make it easy for people who received gifts from givers that bought their stuff online. I understand that there are restrictions but they put me through some unnecessary awkward complications for such a simple exchange. The gift I received did not fit me and the giver was no longer physically possible within reachable access. They didn't have the item in store anymore even though the item was bought like a week ago. The in store lady told me to find the order number so I could process the exchange online/mail. So I had to go bother my friend by phone to get the order number. I called and customer rep told me the order number was not enough and I didn't qualify for the quick exchange program because I wasn't the original buyer, and that I needed the email of the person that placed the order. So I had to contact and bother my friend again. Really LOFT Really?
Noticed a couple potential scams w/loft. Canceling orders w/ rewards, last minute omission of discount codes
I was placing an order for a purchase, and I put my card information in and it came back as "error, check your card number and CVC code" so I went back and retyped it in thinking maybe I typed the wrong number. It kept coming back as an error, so I gave up. Then I went to look at my banking account, and I have 4 pending purchases for $171 in my account even though the purchase kept saying error check my card number. I called customer service to try and place my order and to clear the pending charges. The customer service representative and I were on the phone for 40 minutes. The rep stated that she placed my order in the system, but couldn't send me a confirmation email. She stated she would have another department follow up with me. After three days of not receiving a confirmation email, I called customer service again to follow up. The second rep I talked to stated she couldn't find my order and that there was no evidence of my order being placed. I am livid as the first rep lied to me and even promised expedited shipping. Customers beware! Save yourself the headache and do not shop here.
I found this beautiful dress on the Loft website which was way overpriced (as most of their merchandise is). This dress was literally $99 and that deterred me from purchasing it until the one day they had a "40% off dresses" sale. So, I decided that if I was ever going to buy the dress, this would be the time. So, I went online to purchase the dress, and lo and behold, they were out of my size. Then I decided to look and see if they had any at my local Loft and they didn't have any there either. So, then I decided to chat with their customer service online, asking if they were able to give me a rain check and hold the sale price for me until they got it back in stock, considering I did attempt to buy the dress the day of the sale and it's not my fault that they're out of stock. They told me that they couldn't do that and that they weren't sure that it was going to be back in stock (this wasn't even Spring yet and it was a Summer dress). Anyway, I finally gave up on that lady and decided to email them. Same thing. I got nowhere with that lady either. I gave up. Literally, a day or 2 later (after the sale) I decided to check their website to see if that dress was back in stock, and yes, yes it was... coincidence? I can't say for sure but it sounds pretty sketchy. I have an inkling that they pulled that dress and made it "out of stock" because they knew it was a hot item. How convenient and, in the words of the beloved Stephanie Tanner, how rude!
I have been on hold for over an hour! Seriously, it's not the DMV! This is ridiculous! Has anyone had this issue, will they ever answer?
Absolutely terrible online service. 22 days is regular shipping. In no way should I have to pay for clothes that can not be shipped for 22 days -
I always receive compliments when I wear clothes from The Loft. But their tops r very thin and u need to wear thin strap tee under.
I recently discovered loft. I love it. I am able to wear cute comfy clothes at a great price, and feel like a cute mom.
Nice staff good discounts terrible pay. Especially upper management could care less about you. No loyalty to their employees
Bought 2 pairs of jeans from there. Loved the fit! Wore each pair only twice and they ripped!
Will not purchase again
Love clothes n merchandise, but Never greeted, employees not friendly, a manager there I think, seems too busy to greet and appreciate her customers.
I shopped, tried on loved a ton of clothing that I wanted to have placed behind the counter while I continued to shop. No problem according to the employee. Probably an hour or more I'd been picking this stuff out and trying on, $400 or more on clothes on my first round of shopping while my poor husband agreed to sit in the car and wait for me. Second round of try on's and I was ready to pay. Probably $800 for everything easy if not more when all was said and done. I get to the check out (one person ringing out after noticing about 4 employees AT LEAST during my time there…) all the sudden, the first round of my clothing that I had spent tons of time trying on and asking to be placed to the side while I continued to shop, were missing! Seriously?! Someone, although a "still shopping" sign being placed on my clothes, put them back on the sales floor! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! No sorry and no one even offers to help me find all the stuff! That's crap! I'm an ALL customer and have spent a lot of $$$$ over the years (not as much as I could due to a military move overseas over the past 3 years but…) nonetheless, disappointing! Then took out my digital card available via my online cominity account and I was made to feel like an idiot! They couldn't figure out how to use it! I had to make suggestions on how to use it! They knew nothing about a QR code available via the ALL/Cominity website. I felt the people I was working with were idiots! At the very least, very illy trained! The apology after everything was basically given after I really had to ask for it. End of story, you lost money and I don't plan to visit this store again. Inept employees that don't care! Sad to be loyal and be made to feel like you're just an inconvenience! 4/30/22.
Never received my full order, only partial. I've emailed 3x and no response. I will not shop with them again.
