This site is incredible. I use it all the time to access my computer at home from work. Never had issues. It's fast and reliable. They also provide really good apps for android and iphone. Highly recommend.

“Will not pra-rate cancellation”

10 months are remaining on my year-subscription. Unlike most services, LogMeIn will not refund the next 10 months that we will not be using the subscription. Customer for many years. Clunky software and the service is even worse. Hung up on me the first time that I called to cancel.

I was using LogMeIn for one of my employees. She was semi-retired and rarely used it. Now that she is fully retired, I tried to cancel our subscription. It is not possible to cancel online. Instructions say to request a ticket number and call a number they provide after you get the ticket number. I called the number and spoke with someone who was likely in India with a strong accent. She informed me that my subscription had auto-renewed in October and she would stop the auto renewal. She would not issue a partial refund for the remaining nine months left in the year. She indicated the contract so states. So buyer beware of this policy. As most software subscriptions allow prorated cancellations, you should be able to find a better company to work with. And please note that LogMeIn is now GoTo.

Log Me In Pro worked well for us but ---when I had the chance to go with SplashTop and save $250...I jumped at it. However, we were on Auto Renew with Log Me In...we were maybe a month into the renewal period...i they wont give me back ONE penny of my $350 renewal.
SplashTop is working just FINE for us...!

The Pro version of this software is only needed if you need to move files, otherwise they give the software away for free. I used the free version for months until one day I actually needed to access my computer at home, and then I signed up for the pro version. This software has saved me so many times I can't begin to count them all.

Avoid at all costs, way too many other remote access options out there at a fraction of the price. They also took advantage of the pandemic which speaks to their corporate culture. Refused even a partial refund after charging during the height of the COVID crises.

You can remotely control your PC over the internet and it is great for people who travel and need to access their work desktop. I bought their iPhone application to control my PC using my phone, but it turns out that wasn't really necessary as it just makes it more convenient. Most users can probably just use their free trial and never pay for the pro version.

I tried to cancel last year, when I was closing my business and it was not working anyway. They said I was on a subscription with no refunds for remaining mos. I noticed when reviewing my statements for year end, I was charged $99 again in Sept to renew Pro. I called to inform them I did not give approval... sorry it auto renews. We can cancel without a refund for the remaining 8 mos of the year.

Every time I leave my home office I have not been able to log into my host computer. I have my user name. Password, and passcode along with the computer name. Every occasion there is some other access code or some other security issue that will not allow me to log in
I call customer support and they tell me I need to do something at the host computer when I am 2000 miles away! Unbelievable a horrible program with no support

I have used this company for my elderly mother so I could remotely access her computer. Not only did they unknowingly charge my elderly mother for use of 30 computers, which cost over $600, they refused to refund the money or offer any credit or other restitution for future use! They said that I added one computer and another computer and then they automatically bumped me up to 30! What nonsense and what a ripoff! Do not use this company ever!

Use Splashtop or something else. Logmein is crap, and the support is even worse. Took 2 calls and multiple hours to get working. Then they wouldn't extend license for time that it didn't work. I simply asked about cancelling and the guy cancelled me on the spot. Been on hold about 30 extra minutes so far. FURIOUS! Planned on going home to wrap up my day, now stuck in the office another 3 hours. Hate this company. Last support call was just as bad.

They never cancelled my subscription despite an email confirming that they did. Unfortunately I did not check confirm they had refunded my credit card, so they got away with that. Worse than that, they automatically renewed my account again this year without notification. I never found out about it until my credit card company notified me.

I called them by mistake thinking I was calling Applecare. My computer was disconnecting from the internet frequently. They accessed my computer and supposedly found all these bad foreign sites with acess and then insisted I buy their anti-hacking software for $249/year/each computer. I rechecked the phone and realized my mistake. Applecare fixed the problem easily. I just had to reset the PRAM and the Power module? Anyway now I'm worried that they can access my computer for bad purposes.

We have been a long-time customer of Logmein. Very disappointed they continue to raise the prices as high as they are doing when we only use very basic features. This forced us to start looking around and I discovered Splashtop.com. It works exactly the same way including giving user and group permissions. And it's less than half the price. I highly recommend checking it out and wish I would have found it sooner. Sometimes you outprice yourself from the competition enforce your own customers into looking for options that turns out to be cheaper and better. Hopefully their sales department figures it out before it's too late

Not the cheapest, but a robust enterprise solution for remote computer access and VPN service - While Logmein is not the cheapest remote access service out there, it's great for a growing small/medium sized business. They offer scalable services and have great support. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I could not stay logged in for more than a few minutes. I had a support guy try to help and had me do lots of technical things at the command prompt after which most of my software did not work. I tried calling back and after waiting over an hour for support, a person in Australia (awesome accent) did something to my PC, looked at it and said I was good to go. So I hang up, my software still won't work, I had to restore my PC to an earlier time to get my programs to work again. I spent overall about 6 hours with support to no avail. When I asked for a refund of my $99 they said I would have to spend another full support session to allow them to fix it before they would refund my money.

Hadn't used LogMeIn for several years and after disputing the ridiculous annual fee that they charged for the annual renewal, I was told no refund since I didn't "dispute" in a timely manner, which was within 60 days of the charge.
Avoid them at all costs! Very poor customer service! They couldn't even speak off of their "script".

Same complaint as most people here. They went up over 300% in price and autobilled my credit card. When I saw my statement, I called and cancelled. They refused to refund or prorate. Totally unethical business practice. Maybe a class action lawsuit would be appropriate here.

First off, the forced upgrade ended costing more than double from prior years. I gave it a try and realized that I don't use any of the extra options that came with the upgrade of Log Me in Central. So it's way overpriced for my needs.

Second, as I am a Canadian customer, I can have the option of being billed in CAD. A Canadian Company out of Quebec, keeps billing me in USD; they charge me Canadian Tax tax on the USD and end up paying over CAD $2500. 00. As per their website, if I get billed in CAD@ $162.00 per month and then add tax, I would pay a little more than CAD $2100. 00. I have tried getting this resolved through their AR Department, but I feel I'd get more out of talking to a brick wall at this point.

I guess its time to start shopping around for a better service.

I received that error message when trying to 'check out' on a shopping site, using google chrome. I then tried the site on yahoo internet explorer, where I got a pop-up that I couldn't get past claiming my computer had been hacked etc. and to call this # which I did and let a 'senior diagnostic tech' remote access my computer, background noises sounded like a telemarketer, he finally claimed I needed to buy software to fix the problem; what tech does that,? Red flag up. I told him I already had McAfee and needed to think about it. I was totally fooled. What a scam.

I called to cancel our renewed subscription of LogMeIn Pro which went up in price about 30% in one year to well over $800. After it was already paid for, I was told I could cancel it but there would not be a refund or I could keep it for another year with no automatic renewal. When I said we would dispute the charge, the agent said, "Well go ahead", your agreement says there is no refund.

This is not the kind of company I want to do business with anyway and why would I want to stay with them? A company that prides itself on customer service (not Logmein) stays in business with good reviews and referrals.

The doubled my bills for two years, billed me for the same product monthly and annually and put me up for collection when I refused to pay both. Logmein is the worst corporate citizen of the 21st century in my experience

I have used logmein for a long time. It is really brilliant and I connect from home all the time and also via my laptop from Europe. It is really easy. I have just upgraded at a cost of £25 for the first year so that I can remotely share and print. Cannot recommend it highly enough

LogMeIn.com is blatantly ripping off its customers with excessive increases in their annual fee (renewed automatically) without providing "any" prior notification to their customers. The new, and much higher fees, are charged to each customer's credit card that's kept on file at LogMeIn.com.

Do not give this company your credit card info. Do not do business with this company.

I use their service all the time. I use only their free service and it's fast, and lets me connect to my home pc from work easily. My only complaint would be the constant urging to upgrade. I'll upgrade when I am ready to do so, or find the need. They offer their free service for individual use (which is what I use it for) but keep pressuring to upgrade all the time.

I'm a LONG time user, maybe 10 years or more. And it's worked mostly great until the past year or so. Now, my client's computers won't let me log in, and LogMeIn "support" says it's not them, that it's Windows Username/password error. No, it's NOT! Since I can sit at my client's actual computer and log in just fine! It's LogMeIn that won't let me log in, but they refuse to help. I need another solution... but what? They now own GoToMyPC!

This is virtually free software unless you need the ability to download files remotely from you PCs. Aside from that, this is perfectly working free software that never expires. If all you want to do is access your PCs remotely, then give this a try. Even the pro version isn't that expensive and works great.
