I called because my baby monitor stopped working (absolutely LOVE the product) I called and the gentleman I spoke with was calm, friendly and very helpful! I was calling for some ideas to try and ended up being sent a full replacement no problem. This company is amazing as well and their technical support. Would highly recommend!

Bought 2 systems then they discontinued the computer software after spending $3000. 00 on camera's and recorders. When you call them they make you feel like it is your fault. Very disappointed with systems will never buy again from this company.
What good is a product if you can't get in touch with technical support. Waste 30+ minutes getting to someone that doesn't speak english, then they transfer you to another department and you hold for another 30 minutes for someone who can't help.

After all these months of problems with night vision on two cameras now only to find out 2 power adapters not functioning properly and as usual getting run around from lorex. Ticket # ******* they never seem to want to replace defective equipment.
Purchased an eight camera Dvr system. Like many others, Dvr on arrival did not work. Wondered why new one had gouges & scratches all over it. No problem, we'll send a replacement, #2. Well, same thing again would not work. O. K. Here comes my third Dvr. Take it out and surprise surprise, it does not work. By now I've spent hours on the phone with technical support, which you can barely understand their English. I tell them I had enough, I want a refund. Oh no, we'll send you another one. UPS is damaging their products in transit. Then they said it was something wrong with my electrical outlet. Yeah right! Only if you will expedite it. No we can't do that. Supposedly, I will get a refund when they receive the last unit. It's a shame that Lorex has sunk to such low quality and standards.
Bought a new dvr from their own website, no software available so I had to call their tech support. One hour to do setup then afterwards I noticed how loud the internal fans were, you could hear them from across the room. Now I have made four phone calls, sent them three videos and a picture of the serial number and this lady hung up on me. AT&T does the same thing, they harass their customers until the customer stops calling. Well, we'll just see about this.
I finally got the issue resolved, but not until review posted on sitejabber. It seems that management is monitoring this site, but evidently not all sites. It seems a shame that such a large company is so far behind on customer service that they are reduced to reacting to consumers who are angry enough to post negative reviews, instead of placing resources in place to protect their reputation and create raving fans. The products themselves are excellent, but the follow up on issues kills the value of the purchase. I am sure that companies like simplisafe etc will continue to add cameras to their systems and with good service they can displace Lorex in the market. Seems a shame and quite shortsighted from a marketing standpoint.
I am now well over 2 hours on hold. Had a "service ticket" on file for over 2 weeks with no reply, even after additional email requests. I have a failed camera that is under both standard warranty and the extra warranty I paid for. Spent $2884 for a fully packed 16 camera system. I have 3 more businesses that I am adding cameras to and frankly I am glad I found out now how bad support is before I spent an additional $9K with them. I will go elsewhere and vote with my feet.
I had a camera go bad after 6 months. I got one email reply saying that they didn't have enough info. I sent them pictures of my system and camera serial number. I have emailed them 5 times in the past two weeks with no response at all from them. Their customer service is awful.
I've just bought Lorex wireless cameras system recently, the system went down after a few weeks, and all I could see is blank no video cameras. I called them several times, more than 5 times to get help, but worthless, they kept promise to replace me a monitor as the warranty policy and let me have the tracking number within 2 days, but it's never happened, then I wanted to get my refund they just ignored it. My cameras system now is death because no monitor to control. What can I do now? With Lorex system that I paid close to $600. Waiting for the trash can, wasted time and money. So, please do yourself a favor looks for different brands but not Lorex.

Please stay away from Lorex cameras technology and reads other reviews on Costco and many others, you will be stunned how Lorex's clients desperate said. Lorex Technology is bad quality and their customer services are horrible. Keep my words for all true.

Get a hold of them. After a 2 weeks wondering why I have not received my money back called them and asked y and they said it takes 14- 22 days for refund. Also telling me that they have received the product back. So I wait another week still nothing. So I had to call my credit card company and dispute it because they are scam artists. Screw this place I will write as many reviews as I can so no one else has to deal with these ignorant dumb asses
They performed an online update in 8/2019. The update made my DVR useless. After several calls asking for help I got none, they had no clue. Eventually I got someone from Customer Support who explained the update rendered the units no good and they had 3000 units ready to ship to replace the ones that failed due to the update. I would receive tracking number by e-mail of replacement unit, 3 weeks latter still nothing. Called again and they are clueless. Told the 3000 was for cameras not recorders and they had no information on replacements for those. Each call results in discussions with people that cant do anything to help you.
I have had my system for two years. Lorex will no longer sell me additional cameras. Forcing me to buy a new system. Nor, do they post my review on their webpage. The reason for denying the sale of a camera was, "contracts with Costco, and other companies prevent us". I searched the third party vendors and they don't sell my product.
The new app works ok, yet play back needs many improvements.
Horrible support and customer service. Since Lorex discontinued the use of Lorex secure app, I am no longer able to view my cameras in ultra high definition. The Lorex cloud app only shows a much lower resolution. I was so pleased with the old app. Why, oh, why did they have to try to fix something that was not broken. I will never buy their products again.
I've been having problems with connecting to my cameras using the app. I've filled out 2 tickets and got no response. Calling is a joke because you will wait hours and never get to speak to someone who can help. Regretting my purchase!

Lorex dropped the monitoring software and rendered 4 of my cameras obsolete. None of the cameras Lorex is offering to replace those are inferior in terms of resolution and features. Lorex has offered to refund me but no actions on their part for now over one month, they keep bouncing me around. Be warned. They do not honor their product nor promises
Save your money. Lorex has the worst service in the business. They 100% will not stand behind their customers. As a corporate customer with multiple systems after they made an error costing me a mere $1,835.65 and they wouldn't even respond to me after they found out they were at fault. It's a drop in the bucket financially and they are going to throw away a relationship over it. They have zero interest in doing "business" with you. Once they have your money they will simply ghost you. I never write reviews but I was and still am stunned that Lorex thinks treating customers in this manner is good for business. Customer service is ignorant and will do anything to discontinue contact with you once they know they are at fault and they have no intentions of standing behind their actions. In 35 years in business I have never been treated so poorly. Literally in shock of their handling of my case. You have been warned. Save your money and look for a trustworthy partner who has integrity.
Camera broke, sent a request for replacement since still under warranty at the beginning of May 2017. Here it is end of June 2017 and still playing ping pong with them asking the same questions over and over with snails past in response. Asking questions that are all on the warranty I already filled out when I purchased the camera system. This is nearly fraudulent in activity to prevent making good on the warranty. Oh how I wish I would have seen these reviews before I bought this trash.
I sent a camera back that was up under warranty that did not work in October now it December. I have called customer service several times spoke with a customer service rep that did not solve my problem. They always tell me they're going to transfer me to a supervisor that do not pick up the phone after being on hold for 30 minutes or more.

Never worked from day one. One problem after another and finally just died. All of this within 18 months. The company was impossible to deal with, did not send promised parts, did not answer questions. Worst experience ever with any product! To add insult to injury our garage was broken into a month after the cameras died.

Never ever ever buy any products from lorex. They are cheat. Low level resolution cameras, they sell as HD cameras. No returns, no customer service. Very poor quality built, like plastic toys, Shame on these cheaters
Good Heavens this is a badly run company. I have barely connected the cameras and already their company name in this house is Lorex Sucks. And it's all the worst customer service, so bad it must be a secret camera parody. I've gone all Scarlett O'Hara about it: as God is my witness, I will never buy Lorex again. Their products could be solid gold, it can't outrun the customer prevention experience.
Tip for consumers:
A miserable experience to install. The spacing for the camera hookups is ridiculously small, you need fingers the size of a 6 year old to hookup. The cameras only move certain ways, not as fluid as expected. And the customer service, yeesh!

Support is beyond terrible. Spent 1.25 hours on phone to determine wrong wifi receiver shipped and needed a 6 camera receiver. Then days later get email requiring serial #, model # etc. 3 follow up calls & told correct receiver would be shipped. Then get email saying case on hold due to lack of troubleshooting. Now have wasted over 3 hours on support and told I need to waste more. WORST EVER!
Lorex has the worst customer service I have ever experienced which says a lot. They are not trained and just read manuals over the phone. They cant do anything beyond basic trouble shooting. They claim they will follow up with calls and never do.
