No concern for customer satisfaction. Made a $1500 purchase on 2 items and have now received our 5th promised delivery date. Called the store 4 times and spoken to management. No returned phone call as promised by front end supervisor, Richard. No acceptable reason why we haven't received our purchase, different excuses and answers. First it was a manufacturing issue, then blamed on the weather, then it was a lost work order, then I was asked to wait for a call back that I haven't received. Last I have heard is there was "a glitch in their system" and that they have already received my unit, but have not made my delivery a priority. Huge waste of time and giant inconvenience. We are without an oven for 3 weeks now because Lowes can't figure out how to operate their business, or keep track of their inventory. I have been made to feel like I am the problem for seeking answers. When calling the store to speak to someone, their automated system lacks ease of use and directs you to people and departments I don't need to speak to. All around one of the worst, if not the worst, customer service experiences I have ever received! This company clearly does not have any concern for customer satisfaction and they have provide me unacceptable service. Take your money somewhere else!
My LG refrigerator is peeling by the control panel and water dispenser which is disgusting! Nothing like occasional paint chips in your water! Lowe's said they would come take a look because of warranty and NEVER did! I have called again and now said the warranty doesn't cover cosmetic! So I'm stuck with an ugly frig. LG company WAS EQUALLY as BAD. AVOID Both!
Ordered a refrigerator, apparently the transaction was canceled. We were never notified until we foklow4rvup the following day on when our refrigerator would be delivered. Lowes, this is how you treat a veteran, sham on you
Do not use Lowes to deliver appliances if you live in the Hoboken or Jesery City area. They send their orders to thier Morristown location, and the drivers they hire don't want to drive up here, so they make excuses and no show. My fridge went out and I had to buy a new one so I chose Lowes as they said they could deliver one by Tuesday. It is hard to be without a fridge with small children. Of course when Tuesday came around they no showed. I tried to call for hours but no one answered or they would answer and hang up to get rid of the call. When I finally go a hold of someone they let me know that Hoboken is a challenge and they will get it to me the next time it was convenient, not the next day. They don't even make good on the customers they screw. Now I have to continue to go without a fridge. If I had known this issue I would have gone with someone else. What a nightmare. They simply don't care.
Home Depot is better. I had to go to our local store to fix their online mistake because 4 hours on a phone with them didn't do it. The local store couldn't or wouldn't fix it so had to cancel online order. Had a run a round from the get-go. What a horrible experience, will never order from them again!
Purchased refrigerator/freezer with icemaker. 15 months later icemaker quits. File for extended warranty repair. Lowes says they will send out technician. Appointment is cancelled. Parts are ordered. Parts do not come in. Lowes says they will do a buyout. End of information. People at the store can not help. Called the number for their Assurant Customer Care - they can not find our contract or any information - they tell us they will get back with us in 48 hours. They do not get back with us. Call again. This time they find the contract and say they will get back to us in 48 hours - they do not.
Typical bait and switch type of company. Placed an order July 8th for a dining table that promised to be delivered by July 13, but then the day of delivery they update their delivery status page to say July 22 delivery
As recently as the morning of July 13 they maintain a July 13 delivery date, but then all of a sudden (and without notifying the customer by phone, email or otherwise) it gets delayed by NINE days? If it's delayed by 9 days, you knew about this delay a long time ago
Be very careful when ordering from these guys, there's a very good chance you won't get what they're selling you
On Tuesday June 13,2023 visited this store to purchase an outdoor water fountain pump. Several different staff members in the store sent me rows / bens that I either could not find or didn't have what I was looking for. So I walked to the Service Desk to ask for the location of the pump. There where two ladies there AND THEY BOTH IGNORED ME! After about 5-10 minutes I turned to walk out of the door. One of the women looked up and said "Can I help you?" When I asked for the location of the pump she checked what appeared to be a cell phone and told me "You can only order that online." I asked I could look and the cell and looking at bird baths, NOT PUMPS. The she gave me directions to where there were about 7 different pumps. It's Home Depot for me from now on.
Bought a washer -dryer from a MANGER. Was told it would be delivered in nine days (TODAY) and someone would call on delivery day with a 20-30 minute window. Rearranged our day like a couple of pretzels back and forth all day even roping in outside help to cover gapswaiting for THE CALL. Never happened. Called Lowe's at the end of the day to find out why no one called. Spoke with store manger, Pia, who looked it up in the computer. Apparently they never had the machine they sold us. Computer revealed the Lowe's staff identified the problem A WEEK AGO and asked management how to deal with it. CRICKETS! So they never reached out; they just waited for us to call in with a problem. NICE... So now we MAY get our machines in ANOTHER 5-7 business days (now14-16 days later). Got them to give us $50 off the replacement but would prefer to have received our stuff today. Lowe's implied we should feel lucky. Really?!?!
Bought refg, broke down 3x in 3 months, frigidaire replaced, lowes will not give me a partial refund on old extender warranty after I purchased another extended warranty on the 2nd refg, over a dozen phone calls & I get no where
3 TIMES we were scheduled for delivery of a Stacked Washer & Dryer and a pick-up of the old one (as per Lowe's staff). The first time, the delivery company said they could not take the old machine and they were not instructed to do so. After speaking to management, delivery was rescheduled for a week later. We received confirmation notification that the delivery would be between 8 am and 12 noon on a Friday. We left the house at 2 PM - no one showed up! Spoke to management again and we were assured that they would deliver the next day and pick up the old machine.
Well, you guessed it - the delivery company said that they were not instructed to pickup anything and that the washer and dryer cannot be installed because the "stacking" parts were not included!
I told them to take it all back and that I do not want to do business with the %$#@ company anymore and DEMANDED an IMMEDIATE refund.
We ordered a new double oven electric range on December 8th from Lowe's online. When we ordered it, the website stated that it would arrive on or before December 22nd. That would be today and it didn't arrive... We needed the new stove for Christmas. If they weren't going to have it here by Christmas I would have looked somewhere else or just done something else. When I called them it was like, "well it's not here". "We can't always get them in on time because of weather... " But there hasn't been any real weather issues since it was ordered. I would not recommend using Lowe's if you need the item to arrive on time.
Ordered new kitchen faucet. Product was available, only it never shipped. Called and was told it was on back order. Four week later, called, told it was on back order for another couple weeks. Both times, I was duped into believing I was getting real information. When I called after the due date for the second back order came and went, was told yet again; it is on back order for another four weeks. At that time I became insistent that they were lying to me and they called the manufacturer and then came back and said it wasn't in production yet due to manaufacturing problems. I ended up going to an alternate company for my replacement order. Lowe's just tells you what they think you want to hear, not actual updates.
I live in Bowie, MD and bought 2 Sliding patio doors from a Lowes in another area because they had to be customed ordered from the Lowes in my area. Most people in my neighborhood have 60X80 patio doors but they have to be special ordered. When i asked the manager in the White Marsh Store (in baltimore) why they carried them and not my Lowes...his response was that he orders to please the customers in his area and he keeps them in stock because its the size that many of his customers need. Speaks volumes in reams about the Lowes in Largo, Bowie and Lanham MD. I think its time for its customers to take a stand and work to lower its dwindling customer satisfaction score. If they cant serve the community they operate in they should be forced out.
After 3 seperate occasions and no shows by the delivery company XPO and their rude representatives, I'll never buy from Lowes again. Millsboro Delaware Lowes never answers the phones, you're on hold for 45 minutes plus, the 800 I waited an hour and still never got a live person. I guess because the company has my money already I'm not a concern but when I dont pay that bill, we will see how fast they respond then. XPO delivery customer service should not be in business. The BBB and several online reviews show this is a common complaint. I'll take my money to Home Depot, they're cheaper and have better customer service.
I would give a zero if I could. I ordered a dishwasher a month ago from Lowe's in Hibbing MN and I was told that the purchase price included installation ( I specifically asked because I was going to go through Sears in Virginia otherwise). It was delivered today and now I am being told that the purchase price does not include include installation. I called the store and talked to a "manager" and she confirmed that even if I was told that the price included installation, it does not. Unbelievable!
Meriden, CT. Customer had nasty dog running LOOSE, all over the store. Clerks kept fawning over it, chasing it for fun, petting it, ignoring us. This was NOT a service dog. WE LEFT. NO SALE. WE WERE READY TO PURCHASE refrigerator that day. Dog guy purchased a mousetrap. Sales clerk was named Nigel.
I bought a Refri. From Lowes and had them install a icemaker. The ice maker worked 72 days and quit. Now I am told the ice make is not covered by the warranty. Don't buy a Refri. From Lowes if the ice make is not in the Refri. When you see it on the floor. They offered to help me out if I would buy another ice make and pay the service charges for the installation.
I was in the Belleville, IL store (RT 161 and Green Mount RD.) the other day to purchase some lumber. The sale went well until I was asked if I had a Lowe's card or account. I do not have a Lowe's card. Before I could tell the cashier that although I didn't have a l Lowe's card, I was a veteran. (She should have known I was a veteran because I wear my unit insignia on my baseball cap.) She rang up the sale. Virtually every other time I have gone to Lowe's the cashier has always asked if I was a veteran. When I pointed out my insignia this Bimbo said she doesn't know military insignia. The fact that the unit was the 101st Airborne and the insignia had the word airborne on it apparently meant nothing to this person.
I'm not upset about missing out on the veteran's discount. I upset by the incomitance of the cashier.
I may just have to go to Home Depot next time I need materials.
We had a deck installed in 2011, from the start there were issues, some of the deck wood had to be returned, some step boards had to be replaced, some deck floor boards were messed up, they did not replace all the damaged pieces i requested, i continued to call, mostly got ignored, i told the manager that someone needed to come out and make a visual inspection, they refused and said, " we will not come out nor will we do anymore repairs". The deck continued to have other problems. The top railing separated from 2 different locations, more boards cracked and split, the support hangers underneath the deck separated, making it dangerous to walk on, especially since it is right at the entry door. This deck was very expensive, i feel they should have backed up their work. I will take pictures and post them later. Very poor customer service.ONE STAR IS TO MUCH CREDIT FOR THIS
Answer: They aren't a s cam but their incompetency will make you pay extra for shopping with them
Answer: Same here and Lowes is no help! All they tell me is there is a delay, sorry
Answer: The price will be less but you will overpay with your time
Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
