My local Lowes for which I buy on line & pickup at the store, has better stockages than local HD. Rarely do they not have something in stock that I need. I can't say that for HD

I was sent in for an interview hired right there on the spot routine. Went through all the training and did what I had to do. The manager said u start ur normal work hours tomorrow night at 10 pm because I was an overnight stocker. The day I'm supposed to start I get a call from a man named Carlos whom I never met saying sorry but we can't keep you. Background came back and ur charge isn't acceptable. So u mean to tel me Home Depot was will to accept it but not Lowe's. On top of that I was honest with them and told them that I had a felony that was in the past that I did my time for and did what I had to do in order to rehabilitate which the crime wasn't even my fault I just so happen to be caught on video. But what I thought is that before you actually hire somebody you do all the background checking and everything that you're supposed to do before you actually tell a person they are hired am I right or am I wrong so I feel Lowe's is not what they say they are when they say they're equal opportunity and they need to be reevaluated. Thank you.

There was a time when Lowe's was worth shopping at but that time is long gone. I found a fridge on their website that was marked down $400 for a sale ending the same day. So I paid the sale price and called my husband to go pick it up. He was in town and closest. They said they couldn't give it to him because there was a hold on it as being sold, so he gave them the order number. Then they said it hadn't been picked yet so come the following day instead. So he drove over an hour to pick it up the next day. He gets there and they said we canceled the order. We did not. When the young witch so busy and interested in her manicured nails too long to even type couldn't convince him I canceled the order, she then said my bank canceled it to prevent fraud. Wrong again. Keep in mind the fridge is now $400 more since it's now the next day. At my husband's insistence, a manager finally comes and says their corporate office canceled it because I put his name down to pick up the fridge and they said it looked like fraud. Sure, we have the same last name, so I'm really buying that crap. Then they want us to pay full price to reorder the fridge. He told them no, they needed to honor the price I paid since it was their mistake. They were hateful and rude and we ended up getting the fridge for $200 CHEAPER than the sale price by going to Home Depot and their customer service is excellent. Save yourself time, frustration and money by going to Home Depot instead!

Ordered french doors for our sunroom and was disappointed that I couldn't have the full glass because we needed a dog door installed. The gentleman in the store was nice and showed us the dog doors available and helped us pick out the right size. (This required my daughter texting me pictures and me talking to the gentleman via phone because I am handicapped) When the french doors showed up, there was no dog door to be installed and the man who originally helped us was no longer there. Now I have no dog door and I can't even see out into my backyard from my chair. They insist that we need to pay for the dog door and having it installed even though we went to all of the trouble and time of coordinating it and selecting what we wanted. We were having Lowes put in a 6 ft vinyl fence in the back yard, but we told them to forget it. We want someone dependable. I can now see why there are so many reviews about good sales people but poor management teams at Lowes. They lost a $7500 fence budget over the principle of a $130 dog door. Very Poor customer service and planning.

I ordered a brand new washer and dryer set for $1,500 online on May 15, and it was scheduled to be delivered between 8 AM and 8 PM (a whole 12 hour window) yesterday, May 23. Nobody ever arrived. I did not receive a phone call, email, nothing. I call customer service at 4:30, I sat on hold for an hour before actually speaking with someone, and the lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. She tried to reach someone at Lowe's for me since I couldn't, and they told her my order was supposed to have arrived between 12 and 3. After speaking with her for about 20 minutes, the call dropped (sometime around 6), and I never received a call back. I was told by an online customer service agent that they cannot call back if a call drops and I have to just call them back... so what is the point of them asking my phone number in case a call drops?!?! Please tell me...

After that, I tried calling my Lowe's store, no answer. Tried calling customer service, they were now closed because it took so long. Tried calling the delivery service, XPO, they closed too.

It is now the next day, May 24, it is 1:30 PM, and I still have not received my order. This afternoon I tried calling again and I sat on hold with customer service for 1 hour and 7 minutes before someone answered, and the agent said she couldn't hear me. So what did she do? She kept repeating for me to call the customer service number again, and then hung up.

I will literally never order from Lowe's ever again. This goes beyond COVID-19 throwing us all for a loop. This is just plain incompetence and terrible customer service.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced at the 2121 Capital Circle NE location in Tallahassee. I went there to pick up our order that we paid for in advance online that was shipped to the store, and they claimed it wasn't in the system. Then my wife called back after they told me it wasn't there. They said it was in the system but they couldn't find it. Then we asked if Fedx or UPS was the carrier for their shipments and then at that point the customer service rep looked it up and said "Oh someone did sign for it this morning when Fedx delivered it, so it must be somewhere in the back but we don't know where it is". So they said we'd have to wait two more days and call and speak to the receiving clerk to find out. We asked why can't we come back today and have a manager help us now since we need the item right away? She said no, we'd have to wait. Then two days later we called to speak to the receiving clerk and she was not in for the entire day. So we asked for a manager who listened to our complaint and left us on hold and never came back. We called other departments trying to get someone to help us to no avail. Finally, after five calls someone answered the customer service desk line and said they would try to get a manager to override the system and allow us to come get our purchases. They admitted that someone should have done that two days ago when I came in. We still haven't gotten our items yet, hoping it will be taken care of at some point today. Needless to say, we will never purchase anything else online from that store.

The Lowes Medford NY Location has horrible Customer service! Purchased 4 pieces of pressure treated Wood two days ago. Ended up only needing one piece. They were large piece of 4x8 so I left 3 of them outside and it rained the night before and they ended up getting a little dirty. I brought them to the Medford locations and Manager Lisa was extremely Rude. Saying how am I supposed to re sell this there is dirt on them and with the price of lumber now how do you expect me to do this! Which to me is just crazy. I know how expensive it is I brought it the day before it had a little dirt on them, clean them off and resell them it's not rocket science. Just a back and forth unconvertable yelling match in the middle of customer service ended up with her giving a fake apology and not caring one way or the other and me having to drive 30 minute's out my way to the other Lowes in Stony Brook who returned it right away. MY advice do not go the the Medford Lowes and waste your time go to a different location or Home Depot who actually have a reasonable customer service department. Lowes home office should be embarrassed about how your business is being portrayed at that location and help teach basic management principle to there (employees/ Manager Lisa) I will not be back there

We recently bought a stove and refrigerator from Lowes in Queensborough British Columbia, Sales people were great, the delivery and haul away was terrible. When they delivered the stove and fridge, the delivery guy will not remove the fridge, insisting that we had to remove the fridge doors so that he could remove the fridge through the kitchen door.We were not told by LOWES that we had to remove the fridge door for the delivery guys To haul away the fridge, They left with the fridge and told me to remove the door so that can move the fridge when they return with the new fridge. Further to this we wanted the delivery guys to leave the fridge downstairs and take away the one that is there, instead of taking away the one they brought from upstairs, which we already moved to the entrance hall, they said they cannot do this since it now becomes 3 moves, All we want then to do is leave the fridge down stairs and take the one that is already downstairs. They said they cannot do that. We still have not received our fridge, we are expecting delivery tomorrow, I have removed the doors of the fridge for the delivery guys, it took me no more than ten minutes to do that. Incidently when Sears delivered the same fridge some 15 years ago they did not have to remove the doors to bring the fridge upstairs

Last week, l went into Lowes with my mother in law to by a toilet seat, to fix her toilet. After picking from those we saw, we bought it on her credit card, and left. While attaching the seat the never loosen bolt snapped on the bottom, not the top where the wrench was supposed to be, so l took it back. The manager asks if something is wrong. I say, yes it's broken. He says It's back on YOUR card, like I'm trying to scam someone. Now l admit l was in jeans and a white tee from working on the toilet, wtf? I'm sure they saw guys in work clothes before. So I walked back to the toilet seats, and I stood there for several minutes a few associates walking past the aisle but not one coming down I finally see the manager and I say excuse me may I get some service back here please? Someone will be with you in one second, he says. 13 minutes later I still hadn't seen anyone and when I went down to look there wasn't a single associate around. Now it's not like five separate people came in the store all the sudden the store was empty as you know I was when I walked in. So I decide to walk out and on my way out I told the girl at the service desk to forget sending an associate back to plumbing, because I was going to Home Depot, where they care about disabled customers! I went up to the service desk at Home Depot told them what I needed they said wait right here will go get the parts for you and bring them here. I got the parts in no time flat. Never go to Lowes they get 0 stars out of 5!

I ordered a Frigidaire AC that was supposed to arrive on a certain date. The shipment arrived later than the "expected delivery date", but I let that slide. I look at the box and it says GE and has a picture of a mini fridge on it! I am in utter disbelief. The packing slip states the order was for an AC and yet whoever shipped this order, obviously did not pay much attention! I figured Lowe's would be more than helpful in fixing up the situation considering it was 100% their fault. This package arrived a week ago and I have been trying to contact them since! I was finally contacted back by customer service and was told that the manager (of the Lowes that it was shipped at would call me within 24 hours-that never happened). I told them I don't want anything, just to get this mini fridge out of my house and refund me my money for the AC I never received! They told me I could return it at the local Lowes (I don't know how that would be possible considering the receipt I have is for an AC and the item I would be returning would be a mini fridge!)-Also, I am recovering from ankle surgery and definitely cannot load and carry a mini fridge- hence why I purchased online and opted for DELIVERY. I am extremely upset, annoyed and in disbelief at how horribly Lowe's has handled this problem. I Will NEVER shop with Lowes again!

Summerville, SC. Lowes has the worst customer service and the store has gone down hill it is the worst. I would recommend not buying anything from this store. They will steal your money and cut and run. The return policy should have better limitations and better employee judgment. I bought a few small items Friday lost my receipt, returned them the next day and they refused to refund my money or at least get me a store credit. First the items were not damaged still in the package and second the cashier was the same cashier when I purchased the items on Friday and remember me which she stated. The items were from that location Summerville, SC and from what I was told I still had so many days allowed to return them but since the computer stated that the items were not allowed to be returned without a receipt the store employee stated she could not give me my money back or a store credit? I told them to keep the items and that she could throw them away because they were no longer needed. She gave me an additute. If anyone should of been upset even when she knew I purchased the items at the store then refused to help me, refund my money or even give me a store credit. To me that is theif and not the first time this has happened. I will no longer use Lowes due to very poor cusyomer service repeatedly at this location, common sense is so hard to find. It has gone downhill and it is just a terrible store with bad employees. I will be using Home Depot from now on across the street. The store was cleaner and with better customer service. Keep stealing money from the customers.

WORST PURCHASE EVER
April 4, 2023

I purchased a brand new whirlpool refrigerator. To find out in the first couple of days that it does not get cold. Talking to the rude customer service representative. Whated to send a technician out. I don't know no one after spending 2000.00 on a refrigerator that the first week you would have someone come look at it. After telling Ashley that I looked up the reviews and the main complaint was the refrigerator only gets warm even on the highest temperature. I purchased the appliance March 6,2023 over 3 appointments was made to pick up refrigerator and give me a refund. Now that me food have molded and spoiled. Talking to Julie, Juanita and Michelle to name a few representatives. The refrigerator is still at my house and no calls or shows for pickup. Even though I have pictures of the molded food emails saying they would come pick up refrigerator for a refund. Now today I get a email stating they will not be picking up or giving me a refund on a product that loews clearly know is the main complaint. I will be going to corporate in the morning. I will NEVER SHOP OR RECOMMEND LOEWS TO NO ONE. If I could give them negative stars the would get a negative 10 and that's being generous.

Fence installation

Bought fence installation from Lowes in April 2023, product delivered May 4, MCLC Corp hired by Lowes to install. At my home June 14th, 16th, employees of MCLC only here 2 to 3.5 hours, barely anything done, many excuses, now today 20th, have to get more posts per installer installed wrong, go anywhere else and never hire Lowes or MCLC Corp

LG WASHER COMPLAINT
September 18, 2023

Recently purchased an LG washer from Lowe's. It did not work when brought to the house and hooked up. I told the driver that maybe something was not right in the electrical system( new home). I said I would get an electrician in to check it out. The electrician said it was the washer. I called Lowe's and they could not replace the washer. Returns on appliances must be returned in 48 hours. I am now dealing with LG. After going back and 4th on the internet net the tech gave up. Contacted LG (finally)and got someone on the phone (broken English, hard to understand) and they set up a repair man appointment. The repair man never showed up. I called LG and they told me the appointment was canceled. I was not notified, good thing I called after 2.5 hours of waiting. I seemed to get a well spoken representative and he set up an appointment for the next day( between 8 and 5). I finally got a call around noon. The tech got to the house at 2:30 pm. He could not fix the problem. He said he would have to order parts. AII WHO BUY APPLIANCES AT LOWE'S SHOULD BE AWARE OF LOWE'S 48 HR. RETURN POLICY. I bought the washer and dryer for my son and his wife. They moved into their 1st home. They both work so I have to take care of the problem. Lowe's seems to be going down hill. I would not buy an appliance they again because of their policies. I am also not to happy with LG at this point.

I have order so many things from Lowes home improvement. Seven years ago I ordered a propane grill that was so nice. I called around to get the best price. I called Home depot and they wanted more for the same grill. I paid $799.00 for the grill. Depot wanted over $850.00 for the same grill. I loved it because it had the 2 hot plates on the side for cooking corn or other things while grilling. I have bought bathroom items there as well as new sink and medicine cabinet. The sink was a beautiful ivory colored pedestal type. These types of sinks can be very high and price for price Lowes still beat out other home improvement stores. I have bought ceiling fans, faucets, flooring and many tools from here. I purchased a Dewalt drill and tool belt that was made of all leather. This tool belt has never damaged at all. I have had it for 10 years it was the best quality. I have nothing but good to say about there customer service. They have exchanged things that I took back with no problem. They even gave me a new lock after I used it. I lost the keys and they had no problem giving a new lock after 5 months and charged me nothing except for the extra set of keys. I have done price checking with Home Depot and Hechinger. Over all Lowes is cheaper for all most everything. I hope this review will help others to check prices before paying more to other home improvement stores. Lets face it what do you have to loose be checking prices except money$$$$$$$ www.lowes.com
